Wow, super cute outside and inside. Called to be sure they had gluten free-THEY DO!! Hunter was our server, very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and overall amazing! Wagyu burgers were yummy, truffle fries were delicious but the charcuterie took the blue ribbon!! So much flavor, generous portions and amazing service-my tea was replaced each time I took the last sip! The owner came over to be sure we were happy as well! Prime Cuts in Lyons is so out of place and AMAZING. It's in this tiny little Georgia town playing Florence and the Machine and New York level food. Wagyu. A REAL Malbec. The best in house made croissants I have had outside New Orleans, Truffle fries with a spicy aioli, real surf and turf. Like this is the best food I have had down here by a far long shot, I have lived in many major metros and I have been to every "it" restaurant in Savannah. And truthfully they are all: meh. Like nothing like you'd expect from a major metro. Definitely NOTHING like New Orleans. I don't know who this Chef is... but it's like they got someone in witness protection from NY I will NEVER go to another steak house here again outside this one. My wife and I went here for Valentine's Day dinner. I ordered the 20oz Ribeye with sweet potato soufflé and broccoli. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful with just the right marbling of fat and just the right char on the outside. Both sides were very good as well. For a great steak of this size and quality, I won't ever flinch at spending the $50 price tag. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and relaxing and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. We Will definitely be back. read more

The food is excellent. The service what you would expect from a high end steakhouse. The atmosphere in the dining room is okay, but nothing special. The bar area looks much more interesting. The prices (cheapest steak $60 cheapest bottle of wine between $80 and $100) are beyond anything else I've seen in Hilton Head, more like those in NYC (of course, I give them a break because of inflation), but in today's world they're not outrageous. I saw one review that commented that the steaks were big enough to share, and that the restaurant doesn't mind. That's a bit curious, but nice of them. Of course, it doesn't work when you and your spouse or guest don't share the same preference in steak temperature. Wait staff dressed in faded jeans (no uniforms), plates were cool so food cooled fast, Brussels sprouts were "grated " and cooled even faster. Waitress forgot wine and slow to refill water and tea. This is a really wonderful spot! I had the steak sampler that came with filet, New York strip, and flat iron. All three steaks were so tender and had so much flavor! Way too expensive for what we ate and experienced. Our truffle fries were so cold! Nobody wants cold fried. The crab cake was decent but the sauce with it was too sweet. When our steaks finally came I was excited to see something look good. Well, I should have been. My twice baked potato was barely warm, and my steak was unevenly cooked. So uneven it looks like they forgot to flip it so they did a real quick flip so the other side wasn't totally raw. I have a hard time believing my Ribeye was "prime". It was a little tough to cut and chew. My asparagus was good so there's that. We were offered free dessert because of our fries, they were out of what we wanted. I settled for a cake slice. Idk, I thought for such a prime location dessert would be a little more upscale. Maybe this is the best lyons can do? Anyway they were super nice there and maybe over time everything else can be improved. I'll be making he drive to bull and barrel though. read more

Wow! This is the nicest restaurant in Toombs County, hands down! The food is to die for. For your appetizer, go with the truffle fries, tuna sashimi, or pork belly (these are my faves, but the others are excellent too). For your entree, the elk is so flavorful, the pork kabobs are amazing, and the coulotte is a great choice if you want a steak. If you like crab cake, definitely get one here--it is more crab and less cake! There's even a surf and turf option with a crab cake and a small steak. As far as dessert goes, they always have creme brûlée and Black Forest cake, and they also have a rotating menu of seasonal cakes. They even have a very affordable and tasty kids menu. If you like wine, they have an excellent wine list. The service is top notch--if you hang around until things slow down a bit, you may get a tour from the restaurant owner, Tony, or his wife, Connie. The restaurant is located in what used to be a bank, so the tour is pretty fascinating (the historic vault is now a wine vault!). The bar tenders, Dave and Haley, and servers (Amanda and Hunter are awesome!) make you feel like you're at home. We eat at Prime Cut every time we're in Toombs County, and it's always excellent! Great food, great service, and the owner always stops at our table to check on everything! Was traveling from South Carolina! The host informed us they were about to close in 15 mins and they still let us in!! The meal was wonderful, got the plate with 3 meats and 2 sides and the meats were cooked to perfection! The sangria was delicious as well!
