I was just there today, 11/12/23. I only go to Chinese Buffets when I go out to eat because I want stuff that I don't typically make at home, and I like to just walk in and start grazing.  :)-- I only go on Sundays because I want the BEST performance (food selection and freshness) and I know that Sunday is a peak business day for such restaurants (btw, get there by 11:30 a.m. so the food will be its freshest and there will be no wait). For the size of this restaurant and price ($13.43 apiece with Senior Discount, incl. sales tax, for the buffet, no drinks) this fetches 5 stars because, while it doesn't match the scope/scale of my favorite chow-down -- Sakura Chinese Buffet in Savannah -- it's NOT BAD for a small city place in the country! Fresh salmon, green beans, mushrooms, broccoli -- it's all there if you want to eat healthy, plus some (sinful!) tasty fried delights (fried shrimp, etc.) and a modest sushi spread. The waitress was pleasant and kept out of our way, too. But again: Get there early (this old boy does NOT wait for food). BTW, if you're an ice cream addict like me, you'll appreciate the 4 hard-ice cream flavor selection, but Sakura has a soft ice cream machine, which little kids love (betting that that one item amps up sales volume by at least 10%; are you listening, management?), and it brings out my inner child. I'd probably con myself into pigging out more often at this place if they installed one.  There's just something real nice about strolling out of a place with a soft chocolate ice cream cone in hand. . . . read more

Impressive cleaning regime during the pandemic. Yeah, it's a buffet, but it's good. I usually like the "hibachi station" where they cook your choice, was only so-so here, but the bar is good. 4 star good. +1 for their obvious intentional efforts during the pandemic, far more thorough than any other restraint I have been to in the past year. read more

Out of town wanted someplace fairly quick. It's a buffet so didn't have high hopes. Egg Drop soup tasted watered down other items on the buffet were ok but lacked flavor. For $17 per person including drink I thought it should have been better. Service was good! read more

I will never eat at this place again. I found a fly in my food. My sister found a metal bristle in her food. We found hairs in our food. We told the people that we didn't wanna pay for something like that but we still had to pay the whole thing. That's just nasty. I love this place. Their food is amazing and it never fails to satiate my hunger. They have quite a vast amount of different food bars to choose from ranging from seafood to desserts and BBQ. Personally, I would have rated them a five star but I feel as if the seating could be handled better especially during busy days such as Sundays. All in all its a great place to dine in! read more

It's not much looks wise, but the food was really good. The waitress we've had a couple times doesn't greet us, and comes over maybe twice. A little more attention to drinks would be nice, and the lines for the food sometimes gets a little crazy. But other than that the food is really good! You can sit and eat or get to go. read more

Enjoyed our visit. Price is reasonable for the variety. The stir fry area needs to explore other sauces though. I was told teriyaki was the only available sauce. Other places offer garlic sauce and a few other sauces. . The sushi area was a nice touch and they don't make mass amounts that will sit and dry out so it is nice and fresh. Made to order Stir Fry on a buffet, that's a first! Great selection and some very tasty options: the coco shrimp was great, good noodles, and the hot/sour soup was good also. Would like a few more spicy options on the buffet. Stay away from the cookies and the chips are awful . Great stop in Vidalia for Chinese. read more

Took my daughter here the other day and it was superb given its 1 of only 2 Chinese restaurants in the big city of Vidalia, But just 2 weeks prior, I came in with a friend and it was horrendous... So it's basically a hit or miss with this place... I find the best time to go would be around lunch time or when you know they will be busy.... Wide variety most days ..... I would have to call this typical American/Chinese buffet... In a bigger town... This would be mediocre. The staff doesn't seem to smile very much which makes me wonder..... Around $10 a person I believe.... I love the variety, but I always get gas.... Some times you got to ask yourself if all the msg is worth it..... Sometimes it is I guess..... read more

This place used to be pretty good, but the last couple of times I have been, it has been incredibly disappointing. It seems that they have decided to make everything, and I do mean everything, sweet. Even dishes that are not supposed to be sweet. Do yourself a favor and drive 20 minutes over to Reidsville and eat at Great Wall instead. read more

Egg drop soup had something sweet in it, which made it inedible. Hot and sour soup was spicy good though. All the various entrees were fine, especially the black pepper chicken! All the desserts sucked. Waitresses were fantastic, and the plethora of kids did not detract......this time. The problem was with checkout. The wait was entirely too long! I've definitely had better, but this works in a pinch. The sesame chicken was quite rubbery and the sweet and sour chicken was doughy. The lover's chicken was good, though. I was impressed with the overall selection and the build-your-own stir-fry, although I didn't try the latter this time.
