Our hood was perfect! I ordered it before the customization options became available however I emailed the company a couple of days later and they were able to make the change on my hood! First, the good. I received great customer service during the design and purchasing process. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and had great follow through. I placed my order and it arrived within 3 weeks. The cabinets themselves are beautiful, sturdy and a quality product. The not so good: The packaging on these cabinets leaves a lot to be desired. There is little more than a cardboard box surrounding each cabinet. They are stacked on pallets and shrink wrapped together. They end up sideways and upside down and when you unpack and tilt right side up you hear pieces banging around. One of my doors arrived damaged. My contractor failed to take a picture before installing the cabinet. When I reported this to the company my claim was denied. The damage is obviously not due to poor installation. The whole inside panel is peeling away. So, make sure you photograph or video EVERYTHING. I've read reviews where even this did not work. The island cabinets are installed and it took most of a day to get that done due to the fact that they are so out of square it was difficult to get any trim on and still have it look decent. I suspect this is due to the lack of support in the boxes. read more

I would like to share my experience with this company we spent about 4k out of state to get some cabinets and hoped to actually build a long relationship with them but unfortunately they have send damaged goods, when the delivery happens you can't even reject the order because they have a very convenient policy in place that will protect them if you do. We were on the phone with them explaining the order arrived damaged and their instructions was not to reject the order because they will make it right. I do not recommend buying from them at all the quality is complete garbage and their interior finished color is pink which they don't disclose. Overall I would rate them at 0 and flag them as scam. read more

Not sure how they are receiving any good reviews unless they're unverified reviewers/customers. Seriously, these should not be purchased anywhere close to their ongoing sale price. Ordered an entire kitchen for a remodel based on reviews and having worked with Conestoga RTA Cabinets, I had faith that these would be just as good. I was dead wrong. The good: Order in December, arrived within under a month. Color was close to what you see online. The bad: Damaged goods due to poor packaging and failed pallet. Take the appropriate pictures, submit/file my claim and wait, wait a little longer. After a few days I contact them again, stating I haven't heard anything and the client has a timeframe as do I on a job. Took 22 days for the replacement parts to arrive. Issues with some of the items shipped as far as quality control and a few wrong replacement parts, this took an additional 19 days to resolve with constant follow-up on my part. My client was wanting to send it all back and with enough parts sent, I was able to start assembly of the cabinets. What a joke! Zero, none, nothing in assembly instructions with each cabinet. Their online videos are not the same cabinets. Even when asking them directly about assembly of some tall cabinets they directed me to videos of cabinets that weren't the same. I never received any proper instructions and had to best guess on assembly. Who sells cabinets and doesn't have instructions?? I asked for a PDF or a print out, and received again, cabinets that didn't show all of the parts, which of 4 screw sizes went where, when certain pieces were supposed to be assembled, first or last. The worst RTA cabinets. Save yourself a lot of time and get cabinets with thicker walls, better assembly, better materials, and less heart ache. You can assemble Conestoga by yourself, I absolutely said every word you were told not to say when assembling Jarlin cabinets. Conestoga is who I'd recommend, but I'm sure there are others. Stay very far away from Prime Cabinetry or Jarlin cabinetry. read more

Ok, this is a mixed review. First the good. The cabinets we ordered are very nice, easy to put together and appear to be good quality. And honestly the price is great. BUT, don't have a deadline. We ordered cabinets for kitchen and baths. A total of 22 cabinets and assorted fillers etc. All were in stock when ordered. However, the following week I got a call saying 2 cabinets were back ordered. Luckily they were not integral to design, so if they were too late I would just cancel. About a week later they arrived, but 4 cabinets were missing (and some fillers) and listed as back ordered. What? No one notified me! I probably would have upgraded to avoid delays. Told 2 more weeks, maybe... these cabinets are integral to design. They don't know when. "They could be on the water" Oh goody. !@#$% is what I actually said after hanging up phone.) Without the fillers and cabinets, we can't put on counters. Without counters, no backslash. What a nightmare. We are planning to sell the house and need to get it done! So order early or don't have a time line read more

I recently purchased around $5500 in cabinets from Prime Cabinetry. They resell a number of brands, and the brand I purchased are Jarlin Cabinets. I purchased the "admiral blue" shaker and "destin white" shaker. For awareness, these are color codes prime cabinetry has come up with independently. The actual colors you will see on the Jarlin branded boxes are "Dove White" and "Aria Blue." After seeing the discrepancy when I received the boxes, I went online to inquire if I received the right cabinets. In doing so, I found that prime cabinetry was at least 10% higher than several competitors. If I order an item of specific color and nomenclature, then it should be provided. In normal transactions, you would simply return the merchandise and take business elsewhere. Much harder to do with cabinets and a 30% restocking fee. Prime offers a price match with no time limit mentioned. I contacted them the day I received the order and realized the discrepancy. It took quite an effort, but I did convince them to honor their price match and shared my concerns over transparency. Consumers should have a right to honestly compete in the market, and vendors should have the same right to fairly compete for business. Had there been transparency, I would have transacted with a cheaper vendor up front. They are good cabinets, but I don't agree with practices like this. Shipping something that isn't what's advertised and manipulating description to prohibit honest comparison isn't a good thing. read more

Although there were two other cabinetry websites that I visited, Prime Cabinetry was by far the most client friendly and affordable. My experience was outstanding through the design process because I was fortunate to have worked with Heather Cross. PACK-MAN I really did not know what to expect when we visited this business but they are not exactly a "walk-in" business as they actually sell their cabinets on line. You go to the web site, configure your cabinets and then place the order. You will be assigned a design specialist and they will give you a quote. When we visited the business, we met with Ms. Kathy who was very sweet and took the time to talk to us about the cabinets and explain the ordering process. As we are engaged in conversation, I realize that these people do not do installations, they simply order you specific cabinets, (flat packs) and you can either pick them up or have them delivered. You can have them assembled by Prime staff if you choose. Obviously if you want to save a significant amount of money, you can get them unassembled and assemble them yourself. As Kathy was talking, I could see my husband's face lighting up and I had to shut that down real quick. I believe in professional assembly and professional installation and if I want to save a dollar, I will do so on demolition. However, this business is a great option for those who feel confident in their ability to assemble and install cabinets or have a very experienced contractor to do so. If you choose Prime, consider the following: Once you make contact, you will leave your information with them so that they can assign a design assistant. It will then take approximately two days for you to get the drawing and estimate. When I visited a couple of their competitors, I was able to get the drawings and estimates completed immediately so there was absolutely no waiting. I am not one to wait because there is so much to be done and I have to move on to other aspects of the process. If your item is damaged during delivery, you will have to complete a claim and wait approx. 10 days for an additional part to be delivered. Purchased cabinets from this company. I had the measurements and they had the best price for what I wanted. The cabinets arrived rather quickly and they were beautiful. These are beautiful cabinets and well-made. I was a bit nervous to have to put them together, but they sent a video to my email for help. It actually wasn't that hard. The only issue I had was that there were not more videos for the specific type of cabinets we ordered (a knee-space drawer). This is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I will purchase from this company again, and I look forward to redoing our kitchen! read more
