    Steak quesadilla

Came here for lunner during HH, 4-6 pm. The menu was pretty small but wasn't bad. I got the steak quesadilla and it was great! A lot of cheese haha. The staff was superrrr friendly but also kinda slow. They took forever to bring out check, take our order, etc. the space was clean, the vibes were good. They have a small parking lot so that was helpful, but there's also street parking along PCH.

Such a cute little restaurant! Amazing, friendly service with a variety of options. They do have happy hour and taco Tuesday. There is a parking lot but space is very limited. We will definitely be back!

I really would recommend this place if you are a Mexican food lover! The place was very quiet when I went which was around 2 pm on a Friday. They have a parking lot too so you don't need to worry about parking. The staff were very nice too and sweet. I think because there weren't a lot of people when I went, we got served our food very fast which was great! I think I would order most of the items here again. If you love Elote and esquite, you should try their corn esquite. I also really liked their guacamole and salsa. I was not too much of a fan of the chicken enchiladas but J did enjoy the shrimp tacos. Definitely coming back here to try more! They do have bathrooms in their restaurant too which is great since some restaurants don't have that.

Prima is hands-down, the best Mexican food in Malibu! The staff is always very friendly and the vibe is always fun! I usually sit at the bar with friends so we can eat, have a cocktail and be social. My favorite dish there is the veggie bowl! I always add a protein so that I get the best of both worlds! Their chips and salsa are to die for, so be careful not to fill up on them and miss out on your meal. The portions are perfect for bringing home leftovers too!

We had a lovely dinner here after a beach day. The service was great- attentive but not hovering and the food was good. Nice sized portions and yummy food.

A clean, well-lighted place. Came in here Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and walked away content each time - except for the 49ers. On Thursday ordered the Surf and Turf Burritto and what came out was a Sushiritto or a Burrushi - a burrito cut up like a sushi roll. Unique and good! On Friday ran in for nachos and went to the end of Malibu Road to watch a SpaceX/Starlink launch. The nachos were hot but the rocket was hotter! Those launches are cool. Returned on Saturday to watch the Five Time World Champion San Francisco Football 49ers not become the Six Time World Champion Football 49ers as they got massacred by the Seattle Seahawks. Went in Wednesday night with V. Sat at the bar. She got the veggie bowl and the Burrushi/Sushiritto and said it was good. This place really is clean and well lighted. The chips are warm and the atmosphere is warmer. A good place to hang, talk story, watch sports. Eat, drink and be merry.

The staff were really nice and helpful. My husband was served the incorrect plate cheese enchiladas instead of chicken enchiladas. They remade the plate and were really nice about it. Lobster tacos were delicious. We loved how the surf and turf burrito was served it looked like a sushi roll. The fajita plate was huge. The beans were ok put I am pretty picky on pinto beans. Highly recommended the mango habanero margarita.

1st time trying this spot. I got the Steak Asada Torta. The steak was seasoned well and was tender. The bread used was fresh and wasn't saugy from sauce. Everything was fresh. The lime crema aioli was fire. It made the whole sandwich. The only thing that was missing was refried beans. Doesn't come with beans in it .Other then that though it was great. Definitely gonna order again with refried beans in it .

Glancing down the menu, the Portofino Sando caught my eye (grilled chicken breast, pesto sauce, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato on toasted ciabatta bread). All "yum words" in John world...and boy, it hit the spot. Fresh, warm, toasty, clean, crispy... more yum words. It came with a basic side salad, just lettuce and carrot shavings, but it worked, especially with the ginger dressing. Very good size too: half now, half later as "lefties" and 1/2 the Cal's are my jam. I'm typically a full-flavor, spice-forward guy, but this hit the spot. If they had sun-dried tomatoes and I'd added bacon... 10/10. Without, still a solid 8.5! Throw in a pickle slice? 9.0. All good though, I'll be back. Cool little shopping center too. I'll have to bring my wife next time but avoid the "cute" store shopping if I want to stay on budget. LOL p.s. yes I only ate 1/2 the sando but Truth be told (TBT) I scarfed the entire cookie which was VG!

Pair it with a cocktail (or two) and that view, and it's hard to beat. It's truly one of my favorite weekend spots in Malibu for a brunch that feels both special and effortless.

This week we hit our limit, and are thinking of canceling our membership. The waiters act as though you should be serving them and it usually takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes for someone to arrive at your table. Meals are drawn out due to the lack of service. The front desk hostess' could not be more unpleasant, dismissive, and rude. Also, the food is simply OK, nothing special, and priced exceptionally high for what it is. In terms of ambiance, the furniture is stained, mildewy, and terribly kept. The large dining room remains empty throughout the day since they don't allow computers, and everyone is crammed into a small area where "computers are allowed". Also the employees take up one of the best (more private) tables in the house with their computers and coffee (stunned by this). I spoke to a once prominent member who also canceled his membership for these same reasons. It's truly so sad to see a place with such potential, lack such basic needs.

It didn't taste sweet at all and I wasn't expecting that since it had banana. If you're looking for a sweet smoothie, this isn't for you. Beach day + Malibu Seafood has become a tradition for me…read more A quick heads-up before you go: be patient. Parking can be tight, the line usually wraps around the shack, and everyone is hungry. But don't let that scare you off--the food is absolutely worth the wait. I've been here three times now, and one thing has never changed: the 3-piece fried fish and fries is mandatory. The portions are huge, and I'm calling it now... the best fish and chips in Los Angeles. The fish is unbelievably crispy on the outside, perfectly flaky on the inside, and fried exactly the way it should be. I used to order the fried seafood combo, which comes with fish, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. Everything is good, but the fish and shrimp are the stars, so now I just order the fish and chips with fried shrimp à la carte. One item that deserves way more attention on Yelp is the ceviche. It's ridiculously fresh, loaded with flavor, and served with crispy fried tortilla chips. Honestly, I'd order it every visit. The clam chowder is good too, but the ceviche steals the spotlight. The lobster roll is another surprise. I love Broad Street Oyster Company's lobster roll, but it's over almost as soon as it starts. Malibu Seafood's version is much more generous while still being packed with fresh lobster. Don't sleep on the steamed mussels either. Order a pound for the table and make sure you save the bread for the broth. That broth alone is worth coming back for. I always finish it off with one of their fresh-squeezed lemonades--the perfect pairing after a day at the beach. Seating can take a little patience too, but that's part of the experience. Grab a table overlooking the ocean and PCH if you can. Fresh seafood, ocean breeze, and flip-flops still covered in sand... that's Malibu done right. No reservations. No fancy dress code. Just outstanding seafood in one of the best casual beachside spots around. I'll keep coming back.
