Mali-boo to the negative reviews, because this place tickles my fancy! They must be envious because that green sauce is so tasty, I could (and admittedly did) drink it up. The Al pastor was as succulent a the shrubbery around, yet delightfully tantalizing to the tasteful senses.

HUGEEE breakfast burritos. I highly recommend sharing unless you're super hungry. We waited about 15-20 minutes and it was worth the wait. My friends kept saying how much they loved the beans. I got the veggie breakfast burrito and loved the assortment of veggies inside. The bacon was crispy in the other breakfast burritos but wish they added more! The sauce they give you definitely has a kick.

Burrito and the beach! Perfection! Egg whites, bacon (well done), beans, and cheese.... and of course the infamous green hot sauce ;-p

Sunday 11/30/25 Just have to give props to whoever was in the kitchen this morning! Thank you! Also to the girl who took my order over the phone and rang me up....she was nice (I think maybe her name was Jamie??? Or??? Hair was up in a bun and tattoos). Thank you! My breakfast burrito was exceptional! It's always yummy, but today it was extra yummy :-p I requested for my bacon to be extra crispy and it was! It was muy delicioso! Purrfection! Got my two jars of hot sauce too :-)

We came here for lunch while visiting Malibu and had some of the worst food we've ever had. We waited over 30 mins after placing our order at the counter and paid $21 for 3 super dry chicken flautas that don't come with guacamole and $17 for 2 bland fish tacos. The cost of the food did not match the taste. From the other reviews seems like the breakfast burritos are the better items to get here, but unfortunately we will not be choosing to return.

Right before heading into Lily's I witnessed a McLaren hit a Model Y as it was backing out, symbolic in many ways of our times, and the Tesla owner just replied "no worries man". That is the level of chill I wish to achieve but not after taking a bite of this cheesy delicious burrito goodness that got me drooling like a rabid perro (means dog in Spanish lookitup)! Will come again to try the other burritos and their salsa!

Delicious burrito. We split a large between two people and it was the perfect size. Lots of seating for groups. Kind staff. Would come back!!

Lily's has long been on my list of places to try and so glad I did! I'm always on a hunt for great breakfast burritos. I heard online that it's best to order ahead. Website was very easy to place our order. We got there early and there was plenty of parking on a Saturday morning. There is seating indoors and outdoors in the plaza. I ordered the medium bacon burrito. In my opinion it was quite large and I was full for most of the day! The price point was reasonable ($16) and what I liked is that it was full of protein... eggs, beans and bacon and cheese. Simple yet so good. This is definitely my new go-to spot if I'm hitting up the beach early. Looking forward to coming back!

I definitely will be returning to Lily's Malibu after ordering their Bacon Breakfast Burrito. With just a medium, I was already stuffed! The area is also really cute, with surrounding stores and businesses that are worth shopping at. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and you are able to seat yourself anywhere you want.

Great spot to hang out in this shopping center for grabs --lots of parking and super friendly staff. I've heard tons of people rave about their breakfast burrito, and honestly, it was just okay for me. It's basically eggs, bacon, and beans. For the price, adding some hash browns and cheese would take it to the next level. I gave it 4 stars because the habanero sauce is actually really good. I'll probably come back to try other items on the menu and update my review.

If you were having a special occasion, we would go to three or more different places to order the catering. I consider myself, not an expert but a decent judge of authentic Italian food. This is the spot I choose for meat lasagna and for their meatballs. I haven't tried anything else yet. We ordered their meat lasagna for a birthday party. We picked it up on Saturday afternoon at 3PM exactly when they said it would be ready. They wrote the directions on top of the cover and we followed them exactly as written. The lasagna was so good that our guests were all pleased. Many asked where we got it. I was proud to tell them I'd made the right choice by going the extra mile to Italia deli. We had 20 guests, everyone had a piece and some of our friends took a couple pieces home. We still had leftovers to put in the freezer. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I'm looking forward to going there for a whole meal so I can bring back the comfort of real Italian home cooking.

Came at around 2 pm on a weekday so was luckily able to find a parking spot and there was no line to order. If it's busy, good luck. Food was delicious and priced well. Shrimp basket - 10/10 Shrimp were fried perfectly to be honest. Got 6 shrimp over french fries (the fries were also great, thicker pieces that were fried perfectly). Tartar sauce was great, the cocktail sauce as well (and I don't normally like cocktail sauce). Filled me up great. Small clam chowder - 7/10 Pretty solid clam chowder. I probably wouldn't get it again, but the first few spoonfuls were great and very enjoyable. Some of the clam towards the bottom was more chewy which wasn't ideal. Got a bread roll as well and it came with oyster crackers. Spent roughly $30 total, around $20 on the shrimp basket and another $6-7 on the clam chowder. We've tried the grilled salmon in the past- and it's nicely cooked and tasty - but the star of the show is their fried offerings. What could be better than a crisply fried piece of cod with delicious fries overlooking the ocean? They do a better job frying fish than much more expensive places (looking at you Santa Monica seafood restaurant). The coleslaw is always fresh, and we also love the creamy chowder, chock full of clam bits. My one note is that they do not season their food so you need to add salt and pepper to everything. The coleslaw benefits from salt and a squeeze of lemon or a few drops of the malt vinegar on the table (also good with the fries of course). I'm not sure why they don't season their fish or batter - but maybe they figure it's best to keep it unsalted and people can add seasoning? There is also hot sauce on the table which adds the perfect zing to the chowder. The people who run the place are friendly and the place is especially popular on weekends. I'd recommend coming midweek either before or after peak lunch hours. Highly recommend.

Today, it was Pura Vida in Malibu, located in the same commercial plaza as Madhappy / Pantry, Frankies Bikinis, Be Kind Studios (pilates), and a soon-to-be Wally's. I really liked Pura Vida because of it's "health and wellness" angle. In re-reviewing the menus here, I noticed several items that were over 1,000 calories - not quite as health-conscious as I remember, but I knew it had to be just as delicious. Thankfully, I was right. I had the Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl which comes with a generous helping of avocado, cucumber, arugula, green onions / scallions, radish, spicy mayo, cilantro rice, and raw tuna. For about $35 with tax and tip, this was a rather hearty lunch that two people could easily share. I didn't mix it, as I prefer to eat ingredients separately, and received a soy ginger sauce on the side to complement the flavors. My friend opted for the Spicy Salmon Wrap, made with a specifically gluten-free wrap. That option comes with cooked salmon (which she found to be dry), edamame, carrots, avocado, and cilantro rice - as well as a side of fruit and the same soy ginger dressing/sauce I had. She wasn't wow'ed by the flavor, which may be because of the wrap, or the gluten-free nature of the preparation, or the salmon itself. The exterior patio seating is new, fun, and reminds me a bit of the La La Land coffee shop in Calabasas. Gorgeous place to have brunch or lunch outdoors and soak in some Malibu overcast. Service was efficient, personable, and polite. Plenty of staff to handle the crowd on a Saturday afternoon. Food came out quickly and tables were bussed in a timely manner.
