Specialties
Pride Lending is a mortgage brokerage built around a pretty simple idea: everyone deserves to feel comfortable, respected and represented when they are making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. We’re proud of our roots in the LGBTQ+ community and our commitment to serving communities that haven’t always felt represented in the mortgage industry, and everyone is welcome here.
We help with home purchases, refinancing, first time homebuyer programs, down payment assistance and more. As a mortgage broker, we work with multiple wholesale lenders, which gives us access to a wide range of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, Reverse Mortgage and Non QM loan programs. Our job is to help you understand your options, find the financing that makes sense for you and make the process as straightforward as possible from application through closing.
In addition to Conventional financing, I am also well versed in FHA, VA, USDA and jumbo loan programs as well as down payment assistance programs for first time home buyers.
History
Established in 2022.
Pride Lending was founded in Las Vegas in 2022 to create a different kind of mortgage company. We wanted LGBTQ+ homebuyers and other underserved communities to feel represented, respected and comfortable being themselves, while building a company where everyone feels welcome.
Since then, Pride Lending has grown into a multistate mortgage brokerage serving homebuyers and homeowners across the country. We’ve expanded our team, added new states and built relationships with wholesale lenders that give our clients access to a wide range of financing options. We’ve grown quite a bit since 2022, but our goal hasn’t changed: make mortgages easier to understand, give people more options and treat every client like a person, not a loan number.
Meet the Business Owner: Andrew D.
I’m Andrew Dort, the owner and mortgage broker behind Pride Lending. I’ve been in the mortgage industry since 2015, and while a lot has changed since then, the part of the job I enjoy most hasn’t. I like helping people understand this stuff. Mortgages can be unnecessarily confusing, and I think people deserve someone who will explain their options clearly, answer their questions and give them the information they need to make their own decisions.
I’m also very proud of what we’ve built at Pride Lending. Being an LGBTQ+ owned business is an important part of who we are, but being welcoming and inclusive doesn’t mean serving only one community. Whether you’re buying your first home, your fifth, refinancing, trying to figure out an unusual financial situation or you just have a mortgage question and don’t know where to start, reach out. I’m always happy to talk.
