This review compares Lutz Cleaners with Ralph's Cleaners:…read more I brought one dress shirt and one dress pant to either store on the same day, minutes apart, as that is their distance from each other. Ralph's was 50 cents more expensive, but they got it back to me the next day. Lutz was the day after, which is usually standard practice. Timing did not matter to me so I don't count it here, but I'm sure Lutz would have tried to make the next day possible if I had requested. They came back in equal clean condition, with Lutz adding a "We are Green" canopy over the hangers. I will be using Lutz from now on and the reason is simple: the owner is much friendlier, and seems like a much more genuine and humble person. For the 2 minute interactions I have at this store, it wins in my book. Why not have that interaction better your day instead of worsen it or leave it bleh?

Absolutely Horrible Service - Ruined My $250 Dress!…read more I am beyond furious with this dry cleaner. I brought in my $250 white dress, which I wore once for a special occasion. Not only did they return it looking nothing like it should, but it was completely ruined. The once white dress is now a bizarre shade of gray/purple. When I confronted the staff, they were rude, dismissive, and had no solution. They made no effort to rectify the situation, just said their cleaner turned it a different color. Save yourself the frustration and NEVER bring your clothing here. If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANER!

I noticed it as soon as I got home and called the place to ask about it and an angry man answered. He was dismissive, told me "too bad!" and hung up on me. He was straight up mean. Oh and they charged me $150 for a very simple hemming. I now believe this place is a legitimate scam.

They are super friendly, highly professional, speedy when you're needy, detailed and take on any task you bring to them with confidence. I use them all the time now, challenging them with tough stains on expensive suits and ties, alterations of all sorts from vintage to modern wear (I am very tall and they are experts at extensions) - and above all I feel great between drop-off and pickup knowing the job is getting done. Zero worries, all smiles here. 100 percent recommend Highland Cleaners as your one stop shop in Inman Park and Atlanta at large.

I WOULD PUT 0 STARS IF I COULD. I brought my expensive $200 comforter here to be professionally…read morecleaned and it was returned to me with a HUGE stain that was NOT there when I dropped it off. I paid $65 for a cleaning service and somehow ended up with my comforter in worse condition than when I brought it in. What made the situation even more unacceptable was how the owner/representative handled it. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to actually LISTEN to my concerns. Every time I tried to explain why I was upset or voice my concerns, he talked over me and immediately had a rebuttal. I could barely finish a sentence without being interrupted. There was absolutely no attempt to understand where I was coming from as a customer. It felt like he was more interested in arguing with me than actually resolving the problem. Rather than taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, I was basically told that my options were to either leave the stain as-is or let them attempt to reclean it WITHOUT tying the comforter up, which could potentially ruin it completely. As if that wasn't bad enough, I was also told they could send it to an analyzer, but if the analyzer determined the stain was ultimately my fault, I could be responsible for a $1,000 bill. Yes -- $1,000. Why would I take the risk of potentially owing $1,000 over a problem that appeared after I paid this business to clean my comforter? The absolute bare minimum would have been to refund the $65 service charge since the service clearly did not deliver what I paid for. They refused to do even that, let alone compensate me for the damage to my $200 comforter. I am beyond dissatisfied with both the quality of the service and the customer service I received afterward. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles a mistake says everything. In this case, I felt like the responsibility was pushed onto me and I was left to deal with the consequences. If you have expensive, delicate, or valuable items that you care about, I would seriously think twice before trusting this business with them. I certainly will never be using this business again.

For example- i have a wool coat that has a faux fur trim. He advised the faux fur would get cracked if he dry cleaned it. I respect the honesty! He did agree to alter a pair of jeans. The jeans were brand new with tags still attached. They were too long for me so I wanted them hemmed. after trying them on he put pins in them to indicate the location of the new hem, he advised they would be ready in tow days. I returned in two days to pick them up. To my surprise they were not ready. He let me know that they had been hemmed but they still needed to be pressed. He noted he wanted to have them pressed prior to me picking them up. I returned a few days later. I paid nearly $30 to have these jeans hemmed. The hen looked like something I could have done. It is curvy and does NOT give professional quality. I would not be complaining had I not paid a professional price for the service. I will not be returning. Just an FYI- there is an alteration company in the same plaza, she does much better work.
