This establishment works on a sliding scale is what I was told by the young lady that assisted me when I dropped off my 4 pieces of clothing on Tuesday 2/13/2024. The lady that assisted me informed me what each item would cost me before checking them in. I agreed to pay the $30 for 4 items ( 1- long sleeve shirt, 1-bell style knee length dress, and 2- rompers). When I returned the next day to pick up my items, I was assisted by different lady than the day before and the price had gone from $30 to $43. I don't know what changed with the service they rendered in a day, however the way the rates changed on me in 24/hrs from one person to the next it's not professional nor is it ethical. I will NOT be returning to this establishment again for any dry cleaning services. I highly recommend if you do decide to use their services to prepay for your items because the rate is sudden to change the next day. read more

Don't go thru their drive thru if you have a diesel. They are not helpful... keep shaking their head as they yell at you from their window. Walk out to me and ask me for the information my truck is not that loud. I just told her to give me my stuff back and I will go somewhere else. I started using this dry cleaner about 10 years ago and thought that they did great work. Occasionally I would need them to redo the pressing of a shirt, but that's pretty normal. In the last two years, the quality of their work and their service has gone way down. I've often gone to pick up shirts and found more with big problems than without. At first, they were happy to press them again, but more recently they started acting like it was my problem rather than theirs. I am pretty bad with an iron, which is why I go to a dry cleaner, but I could do better than what they have been doing lately. I read more

Wondering why it's so difficult to button up a shirt completely after you press it ? When you don't you get creases in the front of the garment from the way it hangs on a hanger. I also got the bottom of my shirt pressed and lightly starched folded in the wrong direction. Along with other "not to be expected" creases by the collar and shoulder .I had a sweater dry cleaned and pressed and got it back folded in a bag. It's wonderfully dry cleaned, no stains ,smells nice, but if you are going to fold it why press it then? I know it sat for one day, but really? I'm sure they will take pride in fixing it tomorrow and if so I'll adjust the review to reflect that. Usually I don't want to vent or bitch on yelp, but this annoyed me enough to become motivated to do so. I'd rather praise a business than complain, I just won't go back somewhere that sucks, no need to bitch about it, but this is apparently the best in my area, hence the review. This confirms what I've always known, Best of the Brazos is like coming in 4th at an Olympic Event. You're good enough, usually, but never going to come close to the gold standard. I've taken a few things to this cleaners. For regular, run of the mill, stuff--no problems. However, I dropped my wedding dress off to be cleaned after the wedding. I dropped the dress off in a garment bag. After being in possession of my dress for 10 days, it was finally ready, so I picked it up. I get home, go to hang the dress up, and the hanger snaps. Great. I just paid over $100 to get it cleaned, and now I have to break the seal of the plastic to put it on a new hanger. Not happy about that. I called to see if I could pick my garment bag back up, and they tried to tell me that I didn't drop it off in a garment bag. Frustrating. read more

I've been going here for over 3 years now and they are extremely professional, have great (petroleum based) dry cleaning services, and often accommodate any special requests that I may have. It is nice that they email you when your oder is ready. Makes it easy to plan. I am picky about my dry cleaning and often drop off my nicest suits ($2800+) and dress shirts ($250+) and have never had a problem. Keep up the great work!
