Let me start by stating that Tara out of the Provo office was outstanding from the time we had email exchanges to the time I arrived and took care of my car. Not only was she amazing but so where the crew, diligent, professional, courteous and efficient. The reservation, the repair and replacement including calibration was done with expertise and extremely quickly even if my car had all the bells and whistles on it. All I can do honestly is praise the service and work they performed. Their prices were competitive, and best of all you are supporting a small locally owned family business that take huge pride in their work, something you do not see in big box organizations. I called Magic Windshields because they were close to my work. Magic Windshields opened early so I called them right when they opened. I spoke with Gracie who was very helpful and checked with the installers and manager to make sure they could get my windshield replaced before I left work. I needed to leave work by 2pm at the latest and she made sure it would happen. I was also informed the company was also a recommended shop by my insurance, so that was a nice bonus. Gracie told me they could get it done and come to my work to get it done before 1pm. Cristian, the installer called me about 10 minutes before he arrived and quickly replaced my windshield. I am extremely thankful they were able to help me out so quickly and get me back on the road. The interaction I had with both employees was very pleasant and professional and the install was great.

I was mislead on the phone to believe that I had zero deductible, then received a bill after work was completed for an undisclosed amount that I never authorized. I am extremely disappointed with how Safelite handled my situation, my family and I asked Safelite to provide documentation showing exactly when and how I authorized the work and agreed to be financially responsible for the charges, they were unable to provide satisfactory proof. I was told that I had a week to figure it out with my insurance company because this was now "their problem". The next day they sent me to collections. So I was mislead multiple times by these dishonest people. I have no problem paying for something I legitimately agreed to pay for. My problem is being told that I owe money without being shown documentation proving that I authorized the charge. This could have been handled professionally by simply providing the authorization records and explaining exactly what happened. Instead, the entire experience has left me feeling pressured and extremely frustrated. I would strongly recommend that anyone using Safelite get EVERYTHING in writing before allowing any work to be performed. Make sure you have documentation showing exactly what insurance is covering, what you will personally owe, and what you are authorizing. I expected much better from a company as large as Safelite. Based on the way my billing dispute has been handled, I would not use them again. I went in to speak to the manager Mario and he had left early for the day, after I waited all weekend for him to get back into the office. Was only able to reach him by phone, then he offered no help and took zero responsibility for what happened.
