I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. Got a call from the office at 10:15 that Blake was running late and now my window was 1-5. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised to get a text at 11:33 that he was on the way complete with his photo. So I put the dogs up and waited for his arrival, and got distracted by work emails ... when he wasn't here by 2:30 I phoned and was told my window was now 4-6pm. Then another text at 2:55 that he was on the way. When he showed up he told me he was new and didn't know how the text got sent but it wasn't his fault. He attempted to hand tighten a loose pipe/connector and announced he was done, so I turned the water on and shook the pipe with very little force and it popped back open. He kept repeating he was a licensed plumber and he was furious that I was 'rough on the pipe' and made it come loose. He said he wasn't charging me and was leaving-- so after waiting a week for this appointment I'm off to call a recommended company. I waited a few weeks, and then sent a follow up email. I received a response that evening from Mai that said: "Thank you for sending this email. We will review and get back to you as soon as possible. " I'm not sure what they are reviewing, but it's been another week with no contact from them. I'm guessing they are just hoping that if they ignore their customer, that maybe the problem will go away. I'd recommend finding another company who won't ghost you when their's a quality issue with their install. For what it's worth, the Navien tankless unit has been great.

Well, 2 yrs later and we are still having issues... bathing my grand baby is challenging because u never know when the water will turn scalding hot or freezing cold. Service requested : PRV replacement…read more I needed a pressure reduction valve replaced after my old one failed. I called GPS on Saturday evening, they were here as promised at 11:15 on Monday. The price quote ended up being a great value. The two guys that arrived were friendly and professional. Just nice guys. They got to work right away, and were done in about an hour. Included in the valve replacement cost, they excavated and replaced the old and inadequate builder-installed utility box with a much better one. They substantially elevated the water pipe junction to ensure it remains easy to access in the future, installed an additional water shut-off valve, and added pea gravel for drainage. I couldn't be happier, and I recommend them enthusiastically.

I called Horizon since I was having some unusual (read: intermittent) issues with our tankless water heater. No error codes or faults, just occasionally the unit wouldn't power on and there was no hot water. The worst kind of problem, since it's so hard to figure out what is going on. I had already spent a vast amount of time troubleshooting it myself by turning on and off a variety of supply valves, trying different fixtures, running diagnostics on the water heater, and even calling the vendor for tech support. I was lukewarm (just like my water) on trying to get an answer from a professional because I was concerned they might not be able to figure it out, but Horizon's "free estimate" policy was reassuring enough to give it a try. When Jose showed up, I walked him through the ins and outs of the problem I was having. And... my stars must have aligned because the issue happened for him too, so I was grateful for him to see it first-hand. After a lot of discussion and back and forth about the problem and potential solutions, he was puzzled too. Jose's diagnosis was to try and make some changes to my system in order to better understand what was going on -- he was very upfront and said he wasn't sure it would fix the problem, but at least installing some isolation valves could give us more information about where the problem might be. He also said it *might* fix the problem. He also made some other suggestions to make the installation a bit better.
