Tyler's solution was less expensive than our other finalist, and very competitive with the other bids. Every question was answered quickly and thoroughly. In the end, however, there were some specific things about the thermostat that the other option handled better for our needs, though most people would probably not notice. I haven't used their service since 2015 and moved out of state so I thought they must've mixed up my old info with someone else's and I called to let them know they were either being scammed or something was wrong with their system. The person I assume is Macy was very rude and was convinced I was in the wrong by not paying their invoice. She was unwilling to listen and basically decided I was lying from just a phone number. At the end I just told her to remove my information from their system and to never call me again. So beware when you give them your information, they might accuse you of not paying for an invoice from a job that you never asked them to do.

However, he was clearly extremely thoughtful in his troubleshooting approach and knowledgeable about not only plumbing but overall house construction. It's a powerful combination to have because he knows the end-to-end and understands how it all fits together, so he can advise even on things like how to lay a foundation optimally. He also walked around with me a little bit and commented on some other improvements that he would do if it were his house. These were things that he did not stand to make any money off of recommending to me but was simply advising as best practices, including some that would keep my kids safer, prevent water heater leaks, and give me a creative workaround to an issue I'm having with my shut off valve. So that guy is great and, since it's his company, I assume a solid reflection of the type of knowledge and experience he expects of and instills in the people he hires. I also see there are some reviews on here where people had issues with scheduling or other things, which obviously are important. But at the end of the day, I would rather have some scheduling issues but get a great person out than have somebody with less experience who is easier to schedule with. That's not to say that I think they have a habitual problem with this, just that I think it's important to prioritize what really counts. I think there are few people who are more knowledgeable than Stagg and would definitely recommend them, especially if you have something that's tougher to figure out.

I checked their snake and it had no grease on it. I knew immediately they were lying to me because my 30 foot snake touches grease every time I ran it through and I can feel resistance, but they claim their 50 foot snake never touched grease and that they didn't feel any resistance? Before starting, he mentioned the camera going in and I said what camera. They said the camera to inspect the pipe after hydrojetting. I asked if that was waived if I paid for hydrojetting. They said yes. Anyway, after the camera inspection, they removed the seal on the drain pipe and never added it back even after I asked and they said yes. They didn't. I added the sealant back myself. They tried to sell me on an $8000 service and acted shocked I said no. I checked back the charges on my card, and it looks like they still charged me for the camera inspection. I called them and they told me they don't waive it, yet the plumber who I specifically asked if they waived it told me yes, and they also told me it was $200. Turns out they charged me $289 for it. Going to dispute it with my bank.
