Price Chopper - Convenience Stores Near Me - Lebanon, New Hampshire

This place is awful (Price Chopper, Lebanon, NH). It makes Walmart, next door, look great. The self-service check out register algorithm is enough to drive a customer nuts. At every step (towards check-out), I received an on-screen prompt that said that a staff-person would have to come to the register. Each time, a lady with a "disturbed" look and demeanor came over, and an annoyed, nasty attitude. I could not get out of Price Chopper fast enough. What an amateur operation. Never again will we patronize Price Chopper. read more

Buyer Beware!! Price Chopper is a bunch of crooks!!! We went shopping trying to take advantage of the flyer savings for the week (through 6/21/25) and bought a bunch of stuff we wouldn't normally purchase, just to get the 10/10 savings as well as an offer to purchase a large pack of chicken to get multiple items free. When we called to let them know we had not received the savings, we were told we purchased the wrong chicken (the pack we purchased was located in the meat section with a copy of the flyer showing the savings opportunity, so they are obviously pulling a bait and switch)! The 10/10? We were told that was not available until the following week. How did we get a copy of the 10/10 sale if the flyer wasn't even available yet? We have been going to Price Chopper since before they became Price Chopper, but we will be going to Hannaford's, Shaw's, or pretty much anywhere else from now on (not that they care). read more

I go in the price chopper in Lebanon nh. I went in today an asked a Asian lady that works in seafood. I said hi excuse me. Her response was what. I said you are having a bad day. She just stood there. I said I'm looking for can opener. She says me don't understand. Really. Why u working in a store with customers. An don't speak English read more

My doctor's office had been repeatedly trying to send in a new prescription for months and they kept insisting they had never gotten it. Had the prescription sent to a different pharmacy and it was filled immediately read more

Most grocery stores are average with their strengths and weaknesses. This store has an unusually hostile and angry staff that don't speak to you or look at you. One checker angrily threw our groceries into bags and as soon as our transaction finished she signed out of her register and stalked off without another word. I get it, we all have bad days but whenever I come to this store everyone is having a bad day except the lady at the meat counter who is friendly, maybe because she isn't forced to share her day with the hostile coworkers in the front of the store. The other areas of the store are average. I think this place could really improve with some customer service training and just some reminders about the Golden rule, it doesn't cost anything to be polite. read more

I shop at the Miracle Mile PC several times a week. I actually prefer this one of the W. Lebanon branch.I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Especially Pat!!! who seems to ALWAYS be there and never at a standstill. The one negative I have to say is, it is really discouraging to see your staff sitting outside smoking. That smoke filters many, many feet and is not a favorable odor. Can you not locate it to the back of your building? Additionally, I find it even more offensive, and am taken aback that a frequent visitor to the smoking area is the Pharmacist? Really? One would think he would understand the risks more than the average person and take his own health more seriously. Either way, we non-smokers have no desire to see this activity, no matter who or which employee is doing it. Respectfully, Marcia Ingalls Lebanon, NH read more

A produce employee, K, is allowed to wear a plastic face shield in lieu of a mask that covers his nose and mouth. When asked why he wasn't wearing a full face mask, he said he had been wearing it, at work, for a year. I do not think this meets the State of NH- Lebanon mask mandate and asked to speak with the manager. I was directed to manager, E, and she was wearing the same plastic face shield as the produce employee. There is no nose/mouth protection as face shields prevent splashes. I have heard from others in my community that have discussed this with management but there has been no change in PPE mask mandates. I will no longer shop at this establishment until it complies with the appropriate mask guidelines. This is unacceptable practice to keep employees and shoppers safe during this unprecedented pandemic. Posted on YELP to influence change! read more

This is the Price Chopper next to the movie theatre. I had to stop in here for a few grocery staples while camping in the area. I like this store better then Shaw's but the prices are way too high like Shaw's. This store used to be a P&C, then a Grand Union, then BACK to a P&C. This store was a big deal when it opened as a GU back in 1985, as it was one if the bigger supermarkets in the area. Only a few checkouts open and the staff are not trained all that well. Staff were friendly and the store appeared clean and well maintained. read more

I love going there. But David T it so slow we just stood up line for more then 20 minutes. I would like to get my stuff scanned and leave so I can go home with all this COVID 19 stuff going on. read more

New to the area and sad to see no market baskets in town. Figured a place named price chopper was going to be far cheaper than hannafords, but somehow it's not. Really expensive, which would be forgivable if the store wasn't disgusting. It's dimly lit, unorganized, not well stocked, and the entire place smelled bad. Opened up the freezer and was hit with a stench of rotten milk. Did a quick shopping and figured I'd never come back, opting for hannaford or shaws in the future, but needed to stop for a few items on my way home, and passed a different one (movie theater plaza), and figured I'd try again. Slightly smaller, but at least *seemed* cleaner. Get home, and half my food is expired (I even ate one of the chobani yogurts :( ---- needless to say, I'm not even going to bother returning the expired food, I don't ever want to step in a price chopper again read more

Staff is not friendly, when I was looking for things I needed no one was around to help, seems overpriced for a grocery store

Have had nothing but poor experiences at this store from buying produce that is moldy within 24 hours. Buying canned olives that were moldy. And rude cashiers who do not know there place when scolding my child. Would not recommend this store at all. read more

Although I said we were Through, awhile back, I continue to go here, and it has improved in terms of attention to pluots, tangelos, and broccoflower. In other words, their selection of produce has improved, nicely. Seriously, this price chopper deserves a big "attaboy" for not assuming that its great location - at the side of a popular shopping plaza - is a ticket to a steady stream of customers. The assumption I make is that on any given day any given employee at Miracle Mile Price Chopper is determined to do right by - and earn the loyalty of - his clientele. read more

Produce here is VERY expensive compared with Hannaford. Seriously guys, why? Your bakery is decent and the store is okay for quick trips but your prices are much higher on dairy and product than the competition. (not that they are a bargain). I'd love to see Aldi come in and wipe out both stores. Anyhow, hire more staff. The lines here at peak time are so long and slow. Staff is friendly. The pharmacy is very efficient. read more
