Firstly if you're thinking of driving to Prezzo - forget it. They have about 5 car parking space maximum and they are arranged atrociously. Secondly, depending on what day you choose to dine there, you may or may not receive good service. Pick the wrong day and you'll have a waitress with long black hair attend to you, and you'll regret ever stepping foot in Prezzo Egham. My Wife and I live nearby, and have only recently moved to the area. My Wife likes a particular dish at Prezzo and so makes frequent visits (thus I go also). We have had excellent service from the waiters at Prezzo Egham who are both charming and attentive. However everytime we have black hair lady, our experience is rubbish. They also seem to have some internal communication problems with the recent change of menu. Visit on a day with the lovely waiters serving and mashed potato is available. Visit on a day when black-hair lady is serving and its not and hasn't been for a number of months. Even when I advised that my Wife had mashed potato only last week at Prezzo Egham, black-hair lady still insists it has been removed from the menu months ago. So I'm guessing I was either dreaming about watching my Wife eat mashed potato at Prezzo or I walked through a portal into another dimension and sat at a place that was identical but served it. Today my experience was the worst, and I will not be returning. Entered Prezzo asked for a takeaway (done this many times before). Before I could say what I wanted, black-hair lady says "there is no mashed potato". I am ok with this, as I know its never there when she is serving. I advise her that it is confusing for a customer to come in one day and be told it is available, and come in on another, and be told it is not. This does not appear to be understood by black-hair lady, so she goes off to get the chef. At this point, I just want to order the food with whatever side dish it comes with today (baby potato's) and go. This is prohibited, and black-hair lady starts becoming rude and spouting stuff about the "menu's changed" and "I can get the manager" and "I told your wife". Pardon me, can I order the food now please? Needless to say I will not be returning. Appalling. read more
