She said that as soon as Adriano saw the certificate, he gave her a big welcome hug (she had never been there before). He never mentioned a word to her or to those who accompanied her that it wasn't valid, but simply deducted the amount from the final bill. When checking in with her the next day, she said that the service was incredible, the food delicious (they ordered sea bass, raviolis and pizza) and the atmosphere fabulous. Adriano contacted me and told me that the funds hadn't gone through but he didn't want to embarrass my mother, especially in front of her friends - What a absolutely top-notch gentleman!!! Fortunately, we finally figured out how to make the payment go through. I never Yelp, but people like Adriano are few and far between and should be given the recognition they deserve!!
