The scowl and impatience on her face and attitude when we were deciding what to order could not be more prominent. I ordered and decided to find the loo. I had to trudge up a narrow set up stairs and find the tiniest bathroom ever on the second floor. I don't understand why they can't have a set of bathrooms on the first floor. The food arrived a good 45 minutes later. Really. I was already nodding off by the time the food arrived. I have never had such slow service. I don't think this attributes to the care that the chef took in making the food rather the lack of service or manpower. The carbonara was alright. Portion size was just right--didn't seem like much but its a pretty filling dish. It was fairly simple and I'm glad it tasted fine after waiting that long. Maybe this would be a good place to take on a date if you want to get to know their life story.

My husbands pasta was creamy, a little salty as expected with the prosciutto, and the smell of our garlic bread made all the tables heads turn. We even did an espresso and gilatti to finish the meal. Great service, we did show up a bit early for our reservation and made it just in time for the crowds to show up. Some of the food was tasty, like the fried calamari and the salad with bacon, grilled chicken, and mozzarella. They have a great refreshing, not overly-sweet lemonade, mint, I think.
