Within the hour, James called and asked for more details and let us know he was on his way. He came out, confirmed our AC's time of death, and arranged for Rich to come out and provide estimates for a replacement. Rich was here (again, within half an hour) to measure the house and provide us with a few options to choose from. Since I had to be away for an appointment and my husband had been supervising the visit, Rich texted me to make sure I got the quotes and answered my questions quickly and efficiently. We made our decision within the hour and the team bent over backwards to make time to install it on Tuesday. The tech called and said it would be $850 plus $95 service fee so I called a friend who owns a company 150 miles away and said what should this cost to have my unit cleaned . He said $99-$175! ‍ So I put on Facebook any recommendations and got a one man show company that came and cleaned for $99 and no service charge fee. ‍‍‍ I do have to say when I called SOS to cancel my appointment to repair they waived the service charge fee after looking at my scenario so the company does have some good employees.

I was fed up with the company recommended by our home insurance carrier after three winters of our furnace out more than it was working, while being nickel&dimed to death, being stood up, shamed, and literally shouted at by that company... so I got a second opinion and was horrified to learn our furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger and for our safety the gas had to be shut off. The original company said they'd be back in *three weeks* to give us a quote. With freezing weather approaching, and me with a serious heart condition I was DONE! I deeply appreciate her compassionate understanding. Loved seeing how well they worked as a team. Once everything was installed, Jon showed us how to use the equipment and answered all of our questions. Shortly after they left we got an error message on the smart thermostat. Brycen returned straight away, and fixed it. No excuses, delays or run-around... just simply here taking care of it.
