We had our engagement shoot in the studio on February 11, 2026. Our photographer whom they have referred to us was inconsiderate by canceling an engagement photo shoot on that day at the Arboretum. But aaaanyways, despite their "boss" cancellation of the planned shoot, the ladies on that afternoon were very considerate of taking our engagement photo shoot in the studio. We didn't bad mouth their boss to them but they did an awesome job with our engagement shoot. She had it set up perfectly for the invitations and save the dates... and also for poster decorations on our venue. The process was fast and easy. If we had known more poses and ideas, we would've told them but they were just our last minute plan if the worst case scenario happens, which it did. So kudos to those ladies who worked that afternoon. You guys did great with our photos :)) read more

We have not picked up our edited photos yet, so this review is only for our experience at the studio. Laura was our photographer for our 1 month old babies portraits, and she was amazing. Our baby of course chose to be fussy for our 45 minute session, but Laura was so patient and calm and soothing and really worked with us to help get the best pictures possible, she even allowed us to take extra time to get our baby to calm down. The preview of the pictures we saw looked amazing and I'm looking forward to picking them up tomorrow. read more

Came in for my daughters graduation photos. Late. I know. I called a few places in the area. And Pretty Pixels had availability. Everything went well. The people here are helpful. The photographer was professional and although I think it could have been better, it wasn't bad. They have a variety of picture packages. All reasonable. I didn't feel rushed. I had to go and come back 3 times because of timing. But it was overall a good experience. I'm happy with my pictures. And thank you for capturing daughters memorable moments. ZERO STARS ! Today February 19 2022 I had an appointment at 2 pm for my sons First birthday pictures! It's incredible how UNPROFESSIONAL this place is . We arrived Early , and as we got there no one greeted us I had to walk to the attendant and let her know we are here for our appointment that I had pre scheduled a week ago . Then she went to say ok I let them know your here , we then waited 30 minutes after our SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, to let them know we have to attend our sons birthday dinner and we need to leave since this was supposed to be at 2 pm and only be a 45 min session. The attendant didn't care what I had to say and did not want to give me a refund for THEIR TARDYNESS not even an apology. She just said we can reschedule you , for THEIR FAULT AND THEIR UNPROFESSIONALISM. Thank you for RUINING What should have been a magical moment . read more

Laura was the girl who helped us through the entire process and was delighted at how well she assisted us. I had never been comfortable with anybody holding my newborn (besides family, and the Dr.) but Laura was able to calm and ease her for a rewarding photograph moment. Returning customer, averaging hundreds each sale. Christmas sitting, selected 8 pictures, paid for package and ordered digital photos for $69. I Did not choose photo sizes at the time. I was told editing and digital photos would be sent when sizes were picked. When I called to order sizes I was told they did not have a list of my selected photos, they lost the list and I needed to return to the store to select my photos. I returned to the store and selected 10photos. Since I paid for a package for eight photos I asked if I could pay the difference for a 10 photo package. I was told no that I must pay premium price for additional photos. Since they lost the selection of photos I asked if they could add the two additional photos to the digital order. I was told no. The digital package is $125 for the entire sitting or $69 for photos selected. I paid $69 and asked if they could add the two. They said no I would need to pay $25 for each photo. That was as much as the entire package so I said just send me the digital file for the entire sitting since nothing had been done on the order. They said no I would need to pay an additional $50 for two photos digitally and $30 for printing two additional pictures. Since the order was lost, photos were not edited, printed etc, there was no reason they could not allow me to pay the difference and add the two additional photos to the digital file, or send me the entire sitting since I was paying for it with the two additional photos. I paid in advance, was willing to pay the difference in there pkg fees. It's not as if they printed them and months had passed and I was wanting to order two additional pictures. Horrible customer service for a returning customer. Go somewhere else they don't deserve your money. read more

First time taking pictures done by someone else and I LOVED them. Addis was so accommodating and she caught beautiful moments for us. I will treasure these photos like no tomorrow because she was able to get photos of my baby laughing. There were so many good photos to choose from and it was difficult. Had such a great experience at Pretty Pixels Studio. Our photographer was great I wish I can remember her name . We had a new born photo shoot. He patience and creativity was great. Looked she was by herself . She was running the place by herself until another worker came . Answering phones running around but when it was our turn we had her undivided attention and made it such a great experience for us . She deserves to be acknowledged. I made an appointment with Angie for my newborn as well a family picture. This was what I experienced: -I received a text msg a day before and on the day for confirmation of my appointment. They have a reminder to be there 10mins before the time and if late it will be canceled. So we were 5mins late ! It was Sunday they are so busy a lot of customer most with newborns! But Angie was very considerate and accommodated us right away. After preparing the room, we went ahead for the shoot. -5 stars for Angie and their props :) She is very creative and talented. Plus really good in handling newborns(i think she's a baby whisperer ) and toddlers. She always make sure we are all comfortable and baby is always safe during the shoot. - Customer service was good for viewing the photos and picking the photos to be printed. The lady that assisted us was very patient tho she didn't explain much of the package (for printing packages) it was written in the brochure I guess we should have ask for further information. -Pricing was reasonable. -Cons it takes an hour before you can view your photos and printing them takes 2 days. I will update my review if we are not satisfied with print outs and CD. Overall we were satisfied will definitely come back and will recommend it. read more

Disapointing management. I received a gift of a family portrait for Xmas for a total of $118. I called and booked the appointment for the sitting, and advised them I could not find the gift card but had the original receipt. They refused to honor it without the gift card, I should note the receipt did NOT say it was a gift card. There is no stated policy on the receipt or in the store. I called again, as the owner is there in Sundays. They said since I had a transaction number they would cross reference it to their gift cards and call me back. Nobody called I called and spoke to two managers who both promised to call me back No managers returned the calls No owner returned the call. Very disappointed read more

DONT GO TO THERE unless you want painful service and have lots of free time to argue with them They change management and rules and give you very bad service and low resolution pictures I was referred from two of my friends who had good service experience with Photographer named Z. So firstly when I made the appointment, I asked for Z to service, but actually Z no longer works there, but they didn't tell us, just made the appointment with a FAKE Z. On the day we took picture, we chose the highest level package with six poses and comes with a CD with all photos (named Share CD), and I notice there is another option to upgrade to Print CD for extra charge. I enquired staff for the difference between these two, and I was told that one is 72dpi and the other one is 300dpi. And I asked about the resolution of the pics and got no answer. [Following service are PAST WE CAN GET] Both of two friends went with the cheaper Share CD and got pic resolution 4000 x 2800 with 72 dpi, file sized 4.5MB each, which means under that resolution the picture is quite big and clear, you can see all the details. It will full screen your 4K monitor (4 times clear than FullHD 1080P) BUT THATS GONE! NO MORE! [NOW WHAT WE CAN GET] Resolution 1300x800 with 72dpi, file sized 700kb each!........................... Only half size of FullHD quality, compare with 4 times FullHD. That's 8 times difference! You cannot imagine how bad they are and how huge the differences looks. After i went back home and noticed that, on the second day I went back and communicated with them as I thought they made a mistake and hope they can fix it, but the staff told me that's what I should get and TWO of my friends got BOTH were mistakes! I hope to talk to their manager/boss and staff said he will come to the shop after 3 hours and let me wait. I left my phone number and staff said they will let manager call back once he arrived. But they never called back and I called back to them, and firstly they said manager was not there and let me on hold 2 mins, then they asked a "manager" (one young man staff pretend he was manager) talked to me (actually yelled to me) with following main points: 1:what my friends got are mistakes, we won't give you that unless you pay double. 2:You are not expert and you don't need high resolution to Share CD, you don't understand dpi and resolution. 3: We won't do anything further and we don't want to see you and do not came back! I had voice recording all of communication and if the REAL manager sees this, hope you can train and teach your staff how to do customer service before your business break down. I liked this place because they displaced nice photographs however they told me I can come anytime to take photos long story short I did a photo shoot and the photographer didn't even do a good job but I was so tired of getting ready coming here and was told to come back . Passport photos have been taken and charged and expected to release the same time I picked up the other photos and now they cannot find my child's photos they did not even inform me after I called and I came again to this studio and they are saying to redo the photos but what's the point of bringing my kids in dressed for the purpose to be told to retake them without the proper outfit. Although they may have nice things displayed the price isn't cheap and the photographer didn't allow us to do out hair a certain way quiet annoying actually. Now just here so pissed off they don't have a record of where my child's photos went. Who wants to come several times to get this stuff done. I've already paid and completed the shoot it's simple just to print it and let us go. Now they said they don't keep records of passport photos and the instructions have been given to these people I don't understand the incompetence. My slip was noted I will be returning to pick up the photos because they need time to talk to each customer so given that time of nearly two weeks they took the payment and didn't check to ensure they followed through with what was purchased. I tried to give this place my patients but this is extremely irresponsible. They didn't even call me after calling them in advance with adequate time. If the manager doesn't resolve this issue I have no words for this place , the employees really don't understand the importance of ensuring things are done properly. I am just glad the owner or the higher supervisor is able to understand this is not their line of work and taken care of matters. I know not ever customer is going to be happy but she really didn't tend to the problem or figure the root of the issue and thought retaking the photos when I had already had them taken twice was going to solve how pissed I was. read more

Came here with my girlfriend the other day and we had our Christmas photos taken. Fantastic service. On time and came out with great photos. We were a bit nervous about what to do with ourselves because we don't really know how to pose for the best angles or anything but the photographer helped us out quite a bit which made us feel at east. They didn't have two grad gowns in the same color and the appointment was for twins. They also didn't have any good props for graduation and when we went to pick pictures how ever the girl took the pictures on whatever setting we weren't able to print any 8x10 pictures. We now have to re shoot the pictures and they don't want to accommodate twins to have two cap and gowns in red. I'm very very disappointed. I've always told people to come here and the Pomona location. They used to be so good. I don't know if it's new management or the new girls but definitely not worth the price for pictures u can't get in sizes u want. read more

After spending close to $100 on different pictures I was trying to talk to the owner to see if I can have all of the images (full resolution) on a CD for a lower price. Something that would cost probably $5 including the labor and the cost of CD witch I was willing to pay $150 for. But he rudely said no discount and storm away. This is crazy it seems like this place doesn't like to make any money and doesn't need anyone's money. They had already sold what the would have sold to me and I had no intentions of going back, there for the cost of the photographer was already paid and what ever that I would have paid for the CD would have been a bonus money made but I guess they don't need money and that is why I wouldn't go back and recommend no one should. read more

They tell you weekend is 24 hours to pick up your photos so how are you gonna tell me 7pm when I took my pictures at 4. How are you not going to answer your phone when I've called your store for the last hour over 30 times because it says user busy, umm there was no one on the phone when I walked up to see if my pictures were done. So how are you gonna day yeah it's busy when no one is on the phone because you don't even fuckin care. Waste my time to go to the mall on a busy ass Saturday because you wouldn't answer your phone for me to fine out my pictures aren't ready because your printer went down. Warning!!!! If you have children, teenagers, or your a female!!!!! This place leads you to believe it's safe & ok to change in the private rooms. But they fail to tell you theres CAMERAS!!!! I asked staff many times to have the owner call me, I wanted video destroyed! No one ever called, staff said they did not have access to video footage, only owner did. Unfortunately I paid for the CD, just to hurry & get my teenage daughter out of there as soon as possible! She was so embarrassed & humiliated by the whole experience, she just wanted to leave! They didn't even act sorry, its like they all knew cameras where there, but it was not a big deal to them! Sadly there was tons of teenage girls with prom & graduation dresses waiting to take there pictures too! I warned them all to look for the cameras, but literally no place to change where the cameras don't show. Hope the cameras don't work & some nasty pervert isn't using the footage for other purposes! The manager promised me a free photo shoot out of the studio in exchange for the horrible experience we had, he said that was the best he could do, but that never happen. Hope they take their cameras down!!! Dont understand why you would need them in the back rooms??? To record staff taking photos of customers??? I think they know young girls want to change their outfits, this is why they dont provide proper dressing rooms!!! Makes me sick!!! Now I regret not going to the police! read more
