I brought my elderly mother in for a long overdue pedicure. Angie was her nail tech and she gets an A+ from me. Angie was very professional and caring, taking so much time with mom's nails, shaping them carefully without hurting her. The vibe of the salon was very quiet with many staff just hanging around. Unfortunately, there was only one other customer there. Thank you for such a great experience for me and my mom. read more

I used to get a pedicure maybe twice a year before finding this nail salon. My toes are not cute - I have Fred Flintstone feet - and I'm ridiculously ticklish but I have had nothing but great experiences here. The last two times I've challenged my stylist with nail art requests and they've exceeded my expectations. My spring toes are ready for sandles. read more

Only problem is long waits to be seen! Most workers there do a great job! Some have no personality whatsoever!

they will refused service for no reason and they will not do what you ask for. Nail tech Leah is rude. Do not waste your money here, you will not be treated nicely. read more

Loved how my nails came out, decently priced as well. When entering this location it did unfortunately have a very negative undertone. Some patrons that entered were given cold shoulders and received glares. Nevertheless, once you're seated with the tech it's a more pleasant experience and the staff becomes more personable. Had I not been out of town from my usual area I would have left from my initial impression but given the quality of my service and the tone change I'm happy I stayed. read more

This was my first time coming here. I've seen mixed reviews. My friend recently came here and she had a good experience. So, I decided to give them a try. I don't have a nail salon up at school and I've been searching. The lady that did my nails was very gentle. She moved fast too. The service that I received was good. I just hope that they last. I got a acrylic fill. My total was $17. read more

Wish i could zero stars. I showed a picture of longer nails and got bird claws. I asked why she made them so short since that is not what I asked for and she blamed me!!! I asked how does this look like the picture. Now I'm stuck with shitty nails until i can go somewhere else to have them take them off and give me the nails I asked for. read more

i had a woman named Sandy do my nails, she did an amazing job with the photos I showed her and the execution. She listened to what exactly I wanted and checked along the way to make sure it was coming out nicely. She was very professional, and kind. Great service for a great price! Go see Sandy read more

The guy who did my pedicure couldn't speak English. He used a tiny little sponge to buff my feet. Not very effective. He did paint them kinda ok. I think he might have been new. However if that was true., there should have been someone looking after what he was doing. Sorry, won't come here again. read more

Pretty Nails - Huge waste of time - Nail Salons Near Me - Saginaw, Michigan

So I came here after a year or so of not coming in (I'm from houston).... I used to think they did a decent job until yesterday. One, the guy was rude. I noticed how bubble like and thick the polish looked, I asked him to change it. He caught an attitude and said he'd fix it later. Don't think he ever got around to it. He also cut my pinky in two places and didn't bat an eye. Didn't say a word about it. Two, he completely butchered my nails. I came in with beautiful a coffin nails that my tech in Houston did and left with square/rounded/coffin bubble acrylics. I could go on but I'll just post the pictures. Will never be returning here read more

I went in and asked for a full set, the man that I got seemed to be in a rush. Every time he asked me if I like either the length or the shape he wouldn't show me my nails and I couldn't see them. I tired telling him but he just continued. Nails were not filled the same on each hand and all nails are different lengths and thickness. read more

I have gone to Pretty Nails a few times and I have never had service as horrendous as this. I live in 2 states and normally I get my nails done at my nail salon in Arizona however this month I was not able to make it to the salon when I was there. So when I got back to Michigan I went into Pretty Nails and asked if they could please remove what was left of my pink and white powder acrylic nails (oh also they do not even know how to do pink and white powder acrylic nails) and do a basic manicure with gel polish and they said they could. The nail technician removed my old acrylics and then started trying to do I don't even know what; I literally had to explain to him which devices to use to achieve different results he was clearly VERY new. When he was about to start painting my nails while they looked like the picture (ragged, uneven, lifting in areas) I turned to the technician I had seen a few times before and asked her if she could fix this and she looked at the technician and spoke to him in the language they speak when they do not want you to hear what they're saying then she turned to me and said "you get manicure" (um.. ok?) and I responded "This is not a manicure." Eventually I ended up saying "look, I'm happy to pay for the acrylic nail removal but I will not pay for the manicure as you did not provide one" and the technician got VERY angry and yelled "No! You pay for manicure! He did manicure! You pay!" and at that point I said "ok fine" as I did not want to see just how crazy this woman could get. They charged me $10 for the acrylic nail removal which was fine but then they also charged me $15 for my "manicure" and as you can see this is no manicure. They are a terrible nail salon not only because they can not do a basic manicure but also because frankly the woman technician I've seen there each time I've gone in (I'm assuming she is the owner) honestly made me fear for my safety! I mean this woman was screaming! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!! read more

I have been here twice now, last month (red nails) and this month (pink). I absolutely love it!! I was worried about finding a place up here and someone recommended me here. They do a fantAstic job!!! They are efficient while it still feeling like your nails are being pampered. My shellac manicure lasted longer than any other place I've gone to before.. If you are unsure where to go, this is the place!! Good prices and friendly, talented employees! :) read more

Had a pedicure and a fill. I had been here for only once before for a fill and at that time service wasn't the greatest, but I was happy with my I was happy with my nails so I decide to go back, this time for a pedicure and a fill. Bad decision, I was very dissatisfied and here are only the tops reasons of many. The technicians are not friendly and they were very rough. Pedicure technician used a dermal on my toe nails to remove old polish, I told him the toes on my right foot are very thick and a dermal works good for flattening out those nails and pointed out the toe nails on the left foot were normal thickness. Never had anyone tried to flatten those toe nails of normal thickness, but he did!! When I told him he was hurting me, he just looked at me and continued. When I moved to table to get the fill done on my fingernails, the technician ask if I wanted my nails cut down, I said yes about as much as what had grown out since my last fill. She took the clippers and cut them completely down and she still had to shape them. I know some people like short nails, and that's fine, but I like a little length on my nails and I have none. I should have asked for a new set, but I didn't realize how short they were until the end and by then I was done!! One of my nails started bleeding due to the dermal nicking my skin while she was removing the old polish. When I mentioned it she just looked at me and said nothing, same way the pedicure technician did. She couldn't get the shape right, and she got discussed and handed me the emery board, which was fine with me. Up to this point, even though I wasn't happy I had't voiced my dissatisfaction, I had only told myself would not ever come back, but I was still planning on giving the technicians a tip. However, the whole time I was there the staff talked out loud among themselves in their language and of course I couldn't understand them. Although, there must be some words they only knew how to say in English AND I learned today the tone people use when rudely talking about someone or complaining is the same no matter what language you speak. As I was paying for the services I received with NO tip included, I told the technician who did my nails, that it's never nice to talk bad about customers, but it's extremely rude to do so out loud right in front of the customer you are complaining about. She gave me a deer in the headlight look and I added, some words must be the same in your language as in English and I left never to return!! read more

10/10 don't recommend. went in to get a soak off and look I'm no nail tech but I can tell u with almost 100% certainty they did not do it right. I know that to get nails taken off you let them soak first to have an easy removal which is not what happened here. I thought getting a soak off was something every nail tech could do with their eyes closed but APPARENTLY not. My guy literally just started prying my nails off ummm ouch??? Afterwards the time wasn't even spent to make my nails look decent or even pretty as their title suggests. Pretty nails? More like shitty nails read more

After not going for sometime, my friend and I decided to go back and try them. What a MISTAKE we made. Not only are they rude af,they like to make up their own prices and you don't know what they are saying amongst them cuz not even 1 person speaks English then put their own tip on my credit card after leaving cash with them, didn't notice till we got home. I would never refer this place to anybody, they need to be shut down!!! Their prices are outrageous. Will never ever go back there again!!!! read more

I've gone to Pretty Nails five times now and have never been disappointed. They're relatively quick, the place is clean and always well staffed, and it isn't like one of those nail salons where they're gossiping the whole time. I do not recommend going here. A man was taking off my dip nails and he was burning my fingers then when they were taking off the foil he was pulling my finger so hard it hurt. The women who did my dip did a horrible job and didn't make it even. I also had 4 people working on me when it should be just one person. read more

The wait can be long sometimes, but I just plan for it. There's usually four nail techs there so they rotate through folks fast. The pricing is good for acrylic full sets ($30-35) and I have never had a problem with them fixing something I don't like. They've got a massive selection of shellac colors as well as more regular polish colors, so it's hard not to find colors you like. read more
