They were very nice and friendly and I really enjoyed it and I would recommend them I will be back again

I am from California and was visiting family in Michigan. I was referred by Sierra Watkins to Serenity. Sierra booked me a Deep Tissue massage with one of the massage therapist. It was exhilarating to say the least. Amazing massage. I was extremely satisfied. I plan to book a hair make over with Sierra on my next trip in October since she came highly recommended as well. Can't wait to see what she has in store for me. I highly recommend this Serenity Spa and Salon. read more

Whoever answers the phone is extremely condescending. I have called twice to see if they had availability and both times the person was just flat out rude. My husband called to book a service for me and it was even worse for him! Way to put people off before they even receive a service... read more

Perfect for pampering. I was in town for my grandmother funeral and was in despair. I needed to stop and take care of myself. I'm so glad they fit me right in. Nora was fantastic. Her massage made my stress and tension melt away in her capable hands. I literally didn't have to tell her what to do. She just "knew". I felt so refreshed afterwards After my massage Hannah took care of my manicure. She was fun to chat with and my mani came out great! Next up was Brooke for my pedicure. FYI, Brooke styles hair and does nails. And of course my pedi was awesome! read more

This place has excellent service! The atmosphere is great and all the employees were very attentive and super sweet. I got the cutest french tip set with Sierra and she did an amazing job. This is definitely my new go to salon! read more

Serenity Spa Salon is within walking distance from where I live, which is both a blessing and a curse! I've had great massages here (Arlene is fabulous), had my nails done, and have been waxed. I have gotten rashes on my underarms after being waxed, so it may not be ideal for those with sensitive skin (though no issue when getting a brazilian); the aesthetician is pleasant and does quick work. Lindsey gave me a pedicure and she is lovely; though I wish they had a larger selection of polishes to choose from. All in all, Serenity is a great spot to go and pamper yourself; with an expansive amount of services offered, it's a one stop shop. Staff is incredibly friendly and I like that they have a little drink bar and boutique mixed in with everything. However, be warned: you will drop some pretty pennies here, as it is a very pricey place, especially given the cost of living in the Saginaw area. I find it's worth it to take care of yourself, but again, it is quite expensive. read more

Yes! So happy with the way my hair turned out! My first visit with Sydney. She listed to my hair color and cut history. My previous stylist (I left because of a relocation) sent along my color combination. Sydney took everything into consideration, asked lots of questions, and everything turned out perfect! Another stylist remarked that Sydney always has the blondes in her chair and now I can see why! Everyone at the salon is super friendly! Oh and the hair washing station... Never been in such comfy chairs! Already booked my next appointment! read more

My appointment get pushed back because the client before me wanted to add a service. I was not informed until I get there so there is a unexpected 30-40 min waiting time. After I get my service I noticed not all of my hair was removed so I reached out the to spa via email asking for a solution. As for today I have not hear back from them and I will not go there again. read more

Love this place!! Friendly staff and they make you feel welcomed. Had an experience where they messed up my scheduling and they asked if I still wanted something before I actually get what I wanted the next time I go back. Of course I said yes. After the girl was done with my nails, she told me no charge! I was honestly surprised. All of the staff there are amazing and nice. I do recommend this place. I also recommend on specific person, Jillian. Her work is amazing and so good. If your looking for designs on acrylics and stuff, go to her. I also want to shoutout a girl that did my french tips. She was super nice. I don't remember her name lol but overall, this place could be your #1 spot. read more

I love coming here for a massage. Arlene is so nice and gives wonderful massages! She really listens to what you want in a massage and works on target areas that need work done. The other staff are friendly as well. read more

I got my hair cut and colored by Katherine last week, and she did an amazing job! Turned out just like the picture that I showed her! It was my first time with Katherine and I will definitely be going back to her. My boyfriend and I did a couples massage following my hair appointment a couple days later and we had Syvanna and Tabitha and it was absolutely wonderful...in fact we already made our appointment with them for next month Today, my daughter and I are treating ourselves to pedicures with Lisa. This is by far our favorite place to unwind and relax and yes we have missed the spa! read more

I went in for an updo for my brothers wedding and the lady cut my hair without permission and did a hack job on it. Then tried to charge me 35$ for a haircut I NEVER asked for. She said "your ends were dead so I figured I'd get rid of them" and on top of that, my updo was costing me 50$ ..... I could have done out myself and still had long luscious hair... Never again will I go here and I'll never recommend people either!!! If you value your hair, you won't go here either!!! read more

I love Serenity Spa, everyone is so helpful and friendly. The place is amazing, the atmosphere is so welcoming. The owner Christine is just so sweet. I have been there several times and each time I am treated so warmly. Skylar does my hair and she is really talented, from highlights to cuts, she is wonderful. read more

Went in for a manicure and was told they no longer are allowed to clip cuticles due to new regulations so I left looking like I did when I arrived aside from my nails being painted. Very unsatisfied. Several months later I returned for a haircut which was completely not what I asked for. When I went back in to ask if they could fix it, I was basically told that it must have been miscommunication as if it was my fault. I left in tears and will never return! Let me add that my hair was down to the middle of my back and I asked for a trim, I ended up leaving with layers up to my chin. Mind you the owner was in the building and never even approached me with an apology read more

I brought my mother and sister here for a belated Mother's Day gift. The staff couldn't be more friendly and polite! We all agreed that this is the best place we've had facials done at. The massages, which is what we all looked forward to the most , was far from good. The color selection for nails is very limited. I like that they do the charcoal wrap on your feet. The nail polish doesn't go close enough to the cuticles and sides of of the toenail. I can also see where more than one coat of polish should have been applied properly and I have sharp edges. If I went back, it would only be for a facial. read more

I have never had anybody do exactly what I want with my hair like Jayme! I had to move out of state and have tried many different stylists but none like her. I recently flew back to Saginaw from Louisiana just to have her fix me up. She's kind, very professional and the best in the business. read more

I've gotten several services done here including: cut, color, facial wax, Brazilian wax, pedicure, makeup application & eyelash extensions. I think it's safe to say I love it! I think it's always a friendly/relaxing environment with knowledgeable stylists & fair pricing. 10/10 would recommend! read more

I received the most stress relieving massage by Heather J. She's the best there. The entire staff is completely curious and respectful. Entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. read more

Very very very disappointed in this salon. Had an appointment to get my eye lashes filled and they canceled my appointment with out calling to tell me. Showed up 15 minutes early for them to tell me that they went ahead and rescheduled it! Could only go today because I had work off! They said they tried calling but didn't have the correct number!? I confirmed my number 3 times with the receptionist. Will not be returning. read more

The reason that this salon received 3 stars is that the quality and comfort vary so much between services. Hair with Tonia is 5 stars. She is a fabulous colorist. Massages with Joleen are 5 stars. Magic hands. Pedicures are 1-2 stars. I have gotten really good pedicures here and really terrible pedicures where I find paint all over my toes when I get home. But just the set up is what is most unpleasant. It is not at all a comfortable location. Hard bench, cold wall. And the facility itself can be rather gaudy. It is full of antique lounges and furniture which are supposed to be quaint, but are truthfully super low to the ground and uncomfortable. The main floor can be very loud, not relaxing at all - and sometimes the noise filters into the massage area. And there is so much secondary product it is overwhelming - products that have nothing to do with spa services, but rather signs, mittens, and other whatsits. read more

I love going to Serenity Salon. I've been going there since High School. After trying out several other salons at college, I just started coming back to Serenity on my breaks. The staff has the perfect balance of talking enough to make you feel comfortable while working on your hair. Their waxing services are top notch and they don't push them on you. Every time I've had a color done there it's turned out great. Ask for Trisha :) read more

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Enjoyed a couples massage with my wife - the room decor, lighting and music was very relaxing. Had some chocolate, wine and a great massage. Highly recommend for yourself or as a gift. read more

My husband and I went to Serenity Spa and Salon to receive a couple's massage. The massage was good, but i made the mistake of leaving my purse in the room. My husband paid for the services and as we went to leave I realized I had left my purse. I walked back up the stairs to get it and the female was in the room and gave me my bag back. As we were leaving my husband and I decided to stop to get something to eat. Since he payed for the massage dinner was on me, only i found that all of my cash was missing out of my purse!!! I called the salon back to report what had happened, but when I asked to speak to a manager the female therapist claimed to be the manager! I am not happy with Serenity! read more

I had the worst color job of my life at Serenity. The color was uneven and the cut was awful. The back of my head was barely dyed, and the color bled onto my highlights, making them pink. I walked out with huge red stains on my forehead, ears and neck, which were apparently my fault for having fair skin. The "master stylist" told me that it just "happens" and people walk out of there all the time with their faces stained. When I tried to talk to the owner to get my money back it took her almost 24 hours to get back to me and then implied that I was trying to scam them and probably did this to every salon I went to. She also said that I must be having problems in my personal life to be acting this way. Finally I went in to talk to her (three days later, the first time she could bother to see me) and when I asked for a refund she threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Don't even consider this place unless you're a risk taker or a masochist. read more
