I told the guy that I didn't like the color he was doing & he told me to wait bc he was going to put more coats (I asked for dip). When he was done I hated it, so I politely asked him if he could just paint over it pink with gel. Since, I didn't have the time for him to take the dip off and redo it. I had been in his chair for almost 2 hours at this point. I had an appt & he still took someone else in between doing my nails. After he filed my nails, he did someone else's manicure. So I was just sitting there for 30 min. He had a fit when I asked him to paint over the dip color. My nails still looked horrible and once he was done, he stormed away. When I went to the register to pay, I asked to speak to the manager bc I got charged for the dip powder and the gel he put on. I explained the situation & all he had to say was I should've spoke up about not liking my nails earlier. I did and once I told him that, a lady that was sitting next to me told him I did tell the guy but he told me to wait. The manager didn't have anything to say back & said there was nothing he could do. I was so flustered and annoyed. I never speak up at the nail salon & these people made a scene. It was so awkward. The guy who did my nails was so rude. He stormed off as soon as he was done and left everyone else to handle the situation. Long story short, I ended up paying the full price (dip + gel up charge) and just noted that I'll never be back. Please think twice about coming here! They are so rude and do horrible work. It took forever for another nail salon to get the crap off my nails that they put on.

He was kind, professional, and took his time with my manicure. The shape is exactly what I asked for (almond) and the colors were painted on smoothly. While I typically prefer to not have drills used on my nails and nail beds, I didn't express this interest today and allowed Mike to do his job the way he does it best. The drills were not overused, meaning my nail beds were not over-drilled to the point of being thin/damaged and my cuticles were not left bleeding. My only complaint is in regards to the ventilation of the space. I'm super sensitive to headaches and the smells of three people getting their nails done (polishes, acetones, etc) gave me a bit of a headache.

Instead of soaking them first to soften the acrylic, he immediately tried to cut them off, which was painful. I told him it was hurting, but he kept using the electric machine and cutting into the acrylic. Only after that did he add liquid to try to soften the nails, but by then the whole process was already very messy and uncomfortable. This is not the proper way acrylic nails should be removed. Because of this, my natural nails are now very damaged and look terrible. I was also concerned about the cleanliness of the tools. They did not appear to be properly sanitized, and now I'm worried because I may have developed a fungal infection on my nails. Overall, this was a very bad experience. I would not recommend coming here for nail services.

I was ushered in precisely at my appointment time and asked which type of pedi I would like. After choosing the basic level I was not asked again for any up sale (yeah). I noticed they still do not use a base coat (not sure if that's typical everywhere) but he did a very nice job and I was able to totally relax. Their policy of not taking tips on credit is frustrating since I normally do not carry cash. Overall I'm not sure if I'll visit them again but that is partially based on the tipping policy. Another salon may be more appropriate for my circumstance.

My teenage daughter had her nails done here with us. She gets acrylic. She usually goes somewhere else in midland but came to happy nails with me. Her nails turned out terrible. Booked a massage appt with Savannah for my mother for her birthday. After leaving, my mom shared…read morewith me Savannah made some very inappropriate comments to her. My mother is self conscious of her weight and hasn't had a massage in many years, suffers chronic pain. She asked Savannah "if it is harder to reach the muscles on folks that are bigger" to which Savannah replied "when you're fat or whatever, we can still reach the muscles." Savannah also proceeded to tell my mother about exercises she could do to help herself (my mother never once asked her for fitness advice). I went back into the salon to ask Savannah about the conversations. She denied what my mother explained to me, then Savannah added "well I will admit, I was inappropriate during our conversation when I said well, some people are just lazy and don't do the exercises". I had every right to be very short and frank with Savannah, but I met her with quietness and calmness, and she was incredibly rude to me. This conversation took place in front of 2 other massage therapists as well. I stated we would never be back - Savannah replied with a very rude tone "COOL!". I mean this person just admitted they were out of line and rude to my mom - then she proceeded to be rude to me. Unbelievable. Then, I email the owner & said i would like to speak with her before i leave negative feedback online, she calls me, i explain all of this to her, she apologized, said "it sounds like Savannah might need more traning" Then stated "well if you or your mother ever want to come back, I will give you a discount". Great, okay, thanks, lol, we really feel valued and heard after being seriously mistreated. I'm disappointed I tipped Savannah 50%, I wish I would have left her nothing. I'll make sure to pass along the word that this is a rotten establishment, with at least 1 rotten employee and an owner who clearly has had complaints about Savannah (see other Savannah complaints on google) but continues to employ her... and not actually try to make things right with seriously mistreated customers.
