Brought my granddaughter with me here. Traffic seemed slow today. She received an acrylic (medium) gel manicure with glitter ($60) while I got a single-color gel manicure ($30, Gel Color: Classy #106, Boho Lavender). Did a walk-in, waited 5 minutes before a staff member was ready to take care of us. They were all friendly aside from the language barrier but that's been the norm. I paid with cash and tipped in cash (20%). Peaceful environment even the customers were cordial with one another. This is a good one. I honest to God did not expect racism from a nail salon however a black female myself walked into this nail salon ask if they took walk-ins I was told yes a white female then walked in 15 minutes later after I was waiting to be service and said that she wanted healthy nails and she was able to be seated within five minutes no explanation to the young black female that has been waiting 15 minutes for the services. Normally I do my own nails (gasp!) but an emergency trip to Ft. Pierce made that inconvenient. After reading the various reviews, I thought I'd check out Pretty Nails. First of all, they moved, and Yelp hasn't caught up yet. The new address is 805 Virginia Ave, Ft. Pierce. The salon is clean and REALLY organized. They have so many colors to choose from I felt like a kid in a candy store. Everyone was very professional, and it is obvious that they get a lot of repeat business based on friendly conversations with customers. I was a walk-in and was greeted right away. I did have to wait a few minutes, but that is no big deal, I didn't have an appointment and was just grateful to be able to get in. The young gentleman that did my nails was obviously an apprentice. He asked a lot of questions from the experienced technicians, and I felt like I was in good hands (ha!). And let me tell you, my natural nails had not been touched in more than two weeks and were a hot mess! I just got powder dip (no tips) to hold my cracked and peeling nails together so they could heal a bit and grow out some. The technician did an outstanding job, I am very pleased with the end result and will definitely come back on the next extended visit to Florida. read more

I would NOT recommend any hard working individual to EVER go here. It's pointless making appointment because you will be waiting just like any walk in customer. Very unprofessional nail tech, took forever to do my pedicure I was sitting for 1 hour 15 minutes during the pedicure. She repainted my nails three times keep making mistakes. she did such a horrible job and have the nerve to be charging $2 to use a debit card while the paper (which was not visible for clients prior) states they will be charging $2 to use a credit card. I guess they don't know the difference as business owners. They definitely lost a customer and my daughters won't be coming either. I was in there yesterday to get a set a gel nails put on I was never so disrespected and treated unprofessionally in my life. I was called to the counter to start the nail process. The worker walked away for 15 minutes, came back and said she had to go eat her lunch to begin with then she started with my nails. She asked me if I ever had my nails done before that. I move around too much. I stated I have nerve damage. I am sorry I am not doing this on Purpose, I have never been to a nail salon that have used paper towels to prop my hands in order to do the process very rude people will never go there again. I am never coming back here again. The nail tech I got did a horrible job. I gave him a picture to look at, and he did not follow it. It was a picture of long coffin nails with opaque pink coloring, white lines on the side, and gems. He gave me almond-shaped nails and clear coloring! He didn't even draw the white lines straight and kept messing up with the gems. My nails were so ugly. Also, to top it all off, it took forever! Never coming back here ever again. read more

Cece is the only nail tech I've found that is able to make my nails last up to a month in between appointments if I'm not able to make it sooner. They're kind and honest people. I'm now 25 and have been going since I was 15. I've never once been disappointed or treated as anything other than family. Rude and unprofessional. All three employees were nasty and rude when asked to do a simple chipped toe nail repair. Instead of clipping and filing the nail tech just polished over it. And then got rude and aggressive when asked why she painted over versus fixing it. read more

I told the lady more then one time do not cut my real nails and when I turned my head she started cutting. I went for a fill-in with polish, and instead left paying $45 for to soaked the acrylic off my real nails. I wouldn't recommend pretty nails to no one. read more

My 10 yr old daughter and I walked in for gel mani and pedis. I got a super pedi and it was great. Hot stone, towel wrap, callus remove all for $50. My daughter had standard pedi and gel manicure for $54. We tried across the street, but they were booked with a wait. That place smelt so chemically and all the acrylic files going. I'm not sure why they are #1 on nails. Especially since they don't allow children to wait unless they are getting a service. Pretty Nails was much nicer, smaller and cleaner. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because they don't use disposable tub liners. I think today's standards definitely call for tub liners. read more

While visiting Ft. Pierce, my daughter and I wanted to get mani/pedis. We chose Pretty Nails, sight unseen. While it doesn't look like the fanciest place, don't let that fool you. It's clean/hygienic and they *really* know what they are doing. They go above and beyond with your nails to make sure you love the end result. On a whim, I got my eyebrows done and they looked amazing! I was surprised and impressed. Overall, a great shop, skilled staff, excellent service. Two big thumbs up! read more

I was looking for a place that would do designs and called several in the area until I found this one. I am so happy I did! They were polite, attentive and very sweet to my 3 year old. I showed them a picture off Pinterest and it was followed exactly! The woman is very talented. We chatted about Disney. Overall it was a very relaxing experience. The place is clean. There were both a male and female nail tech working when we arrived. Waited an hour after requesting to have my nails done by the female tech. When she was finishing up with her current client, she told me to let the make tech do my nails. I requested that the female tech do my nails, yet again. The male tech said, "Oh well! Bye bye!" The female tech said, "I don't want to do nails any more, I'm tired after this client (the client she was currently working with)." We waited an hour to be told that the female tech was to tired to do my nails. Followed by the male tech sarcastically shooing us off.
