There were only three people work at this place. Expect to wait about half an hour even if you have an appointment. The youngest lady was pretty nice. She had good customer service skill. The nail painting was not so good. My thumb had bubbles after two hours. I did not appreciate the speak Cantonese to each other. I probably won't come back. read more

Even though I've seen all of the bad reviews on yelp for Pretty Nails, I still decided to go through with getting a manicure AND pedicure. I'll start by saying that my manicure was not done very well at all. There was built up gel in my cuticle line and around my nail beds. My thumb nail was bumpy and I did end up having to return a few days later for 3 nails to be fixed because they chipped in the said above built up gel spots. My pedicure was better than my manicure. I asked for half of my big toes to be sparkling silver with a white line separating the silver and black color I had chosen. One of the lines was very crooked. I paid $125 dollars and in my opinion- the job done was NOT nearly worth $125. read more

AVOID! Do yourself a favour and stay away! They burned my skin with their wax and scratched my face with her nails! Worst place ever. She dropped the wax strip on the floor and picked it up from the floor before putting it on my face. She was SO rough on my face and kept blotting my skin and rubbing it after ripping the wax strip causing skin breakdown and bleeding. Worst experience EVER! read more

One of the worse mani/pedi ever. Went there with my daughter in law as a special outing and for some pampering. They kept trying to up sell us. When we kept saying no the attitude and service dropped dramatically. Both the mani and the pedi were so rushed that both were completed in less than 40 minutes! They were rough and both the mani and the pedi was painful. The polish on my nails (hand and feet) is uneven and poorly applied. When my daughter in law asked they removed the polish that was on her fingers her hand was roughly taken by one of the techs and he cuticles were cut again so roughly blood was drawn. I will never set foot in this place again. No wonder we were the only people there on a Saturday afternoon! read more

The acrylic set was more expensive than anticipated (50 not 35). The nails turned out wonky: uneven length and colour, definitely not worth the price. Very slim colour selection. Definitely would not recommend. read more

If I could give this place less the one star I would. This is actually my first time writing a review, even when a place has been bad I've never felt the need to give it a bad review so you can only imagine how bad this place is. I went in to get my acrylics removed. The lady had no idea what she was doing. I actually had to tell her what to do and she was still doing it wrong. All the other employees were sitting around, laughing. I normally go to Q nails on 167 ave by the Sobeys and they are fantastic but I was in a rush and they weren't open yet. What a mistake. She then told me she was charging me 20 dollars to remove my nails when everywhere else I've been charges 10 including Q nails. I almost wouldn't have had a problem paying the 20 if she did the job properly but she didn't! The manager then tried to argue with me about the price. I told he I wouldn't be back. I went to this nail salon and the nail technician cut my cuticles and made them bleed! She tried to quickly cover it up by dabbing rubbing alcohol on my nails, but I clearly saw that I was bleeding! The worst part is that she painted my nails while my cuticles were still bleeding and put the nail polish back on the shelf after. My mom went a week prior and showed them a picture of what she wanted and got something completely different! I always did wonder why this place was never busy... read more

WORST MANICURE PEDICURE I ever had in my entire life. I just downloaded this app to write my first review ever just because I'm so mad about the money I wasted. I went for shellac mani and pedicure the girl was super nice and friendly but took honestly forever on my toes which I wouldn't care about if she actually did a good job but she didn't I was in such a hurry to catch a flight so I didn't have time to wait for her to fix it or complain. So I left with shellac polish on the corners of toes nails hanging over the cuticles I had to take lil knife take off the rest of shellac polish that was on on the cuticles like it honestly looked like a 5 year old did it if I would have worn my glasses that day cause l would have never walked out and paid for it , and she didn't even put enough on it was applied so thin and streaky and missing in spots wasn't applied thick enough wasn't even shiny on the second day it was peeling off and chipping and same with nails the whole point of shellac is that it suppose last way longer then normal polish, at other nail places my shellac pedicures are thick and shiny and perfect lasting me like two months this didn't even last a week let alone a day . And it wasn't even worth coming back after my vacation to go back in get it fixed cause it was that horrible of a job. There goes 120$ wasted read more
