Some folks look at challenging situations and back off as fast as they can. Crystal is not one of…read morethose persons. I cannot heap enough kudos on her. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She was faced with an impossible situation as had five other local notaries who we called before we crossed paths with her (random calling of Corona notaries in the phone book). All the other notaries we called turned us down outright. To show this is not hyperbole let me briefly describe the situation. My sister went into hospice during the Covid 19 pandemic although she did not have Covid 19. Her son has her power-of-attorney and needed to take care of some issues with an IRA. Her bank, Chase (grumble, grumble, grumble) wasn't happy with the generic forms and had to have their own forms filled in and notarized. My sister's son flew in from Utah to do that but ... the facility where my sister was would not allow anyone in to sign legal forms or for any other reason. Despite copious PPE only their medical staff, ambulance drivers and visiting hospice staff were allowed. We were told they'd lose their license if they allowed a notary or anyone else in for any reason, With our creative thinking caps on we thought my sister's nurse could conduct the equivalent notary's duties as Crystal observed through an outside window. We were told that would violate the law and the terms of whatever legal agreements notaries go through for certification. This was clearly a no win situation. My sister couldn't come out and Crystal could not be allowed in and yet the notary legally had to be present to certify (notarize) the transaction. I won't go into the details but Crystal was the only one who figured out a way to make it happen. To make things worse, despite Chase assuring that was all that was needed, two weeks later my nephew had to come back to Corona to do the same thing with another form that Chase (grumble, grumble, grumble) had come up with. She got that done too. When the third time came around the proverbial hit the fan and Chase backed off a bit allowing my nephew to have his signature notarized in Utah and my sister's notarized in Corona. All I had to do was drive an hour and a half from my home in San Diego to Corona, pick up the document, drive it 5 blocks to the bank and then return to San Diego. If the traffic (and when is it ever, eh?) was good that meant a three hour drive to deliver a document five blocks to Chase (grumble, grumble, grumble). When we told this to Crystal she happily agreed to deliver the document to Chase (grumble, grumble, grumble) for no extra charge. Her fees we perfectly inline with everyone elses but her services were not. To say she went over the top or beyond the call would be understating things dramatically. She saved our collective butts three times as well as on airfare and travel to and from San Diego. She was well tipped of course but no matter the amount it could not have possible indicated how grateful we were. I have no reason to believe that she won't work as hard and as conscienciously for you as she did for us. We are deeply in her debt. Needless to say, she is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sadly, we didn't even have a chance to receive any service they provide…read more Landed an appointment with this place after I called around to many tax places in and around Murrieta and majority of them accommodated business owners. We were just looking for simple tax filing for military family with property in different states. When I spoke to Claudia, I shared exactly that information and she said she can accommodate then had setup an appointment for us with her, months ahead before tax deadline. I asked if she had a list of items she will need from us and she said we will receive a text. Fast forward to last week, I received a text to confirm my appointment with tax company, I confirm yes but didn't receive a list of things needed neither a secured link to drop required documents. Night before our appointment my husband put together what we normally drop in a link for previous tax companies, W2, bank statements, receipts for medical, military, donation statements/receipts, work related mileage and uniform care, etc, tax documents from previous year, and of course government identification. We expected to have everything with us when we arrive at our appointment since we were traveling 40 miles one-way to get taxes done. We finally arrived 15 minutes late because of traffic we jumped on the Fastrack not realizing the next exit was a couple miles past our exit...lesson learned. Called to let Claudia know we will be late and check if we should just head back home. The gentleman who answered the call said Claudia was in a meeting and proceeded to say that he is actually going to take care of us and we can still show up for our appointment...interesting we got passed up to someone else but heck that's what we get for arriving late perhaps. We arrive and was asked for our driver licenses, then was asked if we had our social security cards with us...that's a first! I told him we didn't know what you all needed from us so we just brought what we typically bring to tax appointments. And he says that they require a social security card and not to worry because we can just "email" photo images to him. In my line of work, I know that is unacceptable, in fact, all law enforcement affiliates would never recommend you send PII via non-secured email accounts. My husband chimed in and said we have never had to provide social security cards to any tax company and the guy interrupted my husband saying all tax companies do require a social security card by law... I couldn't help but wonder if he thinks we file our taxes outside of the United States because we have been filing taxes for over 30 years and this is the first time any tax company has ever asked for our social security cards. But heck, seems like he wants to be right and that is ok. We were in traffic too long to argue with a wall. Perhaps they are unaware that when U.S. citizens acquire a government ID that social security cards were already verified to obtain a government ID...who knows. Well, we weren't going to sit there and argue with the guy. And we already knew that we don't care to travel another 80 miles just to bring our social security cards because our passports and or Driver licenses didn't suffice. Neither would we ever send photo images or typed characters of our SS numbers via email. We already have to write our SS numbers on tax forms, if IRS cannot verify it with their super secret computers then it comes back to the tax-payer for proper verification. Simple as that and not worth the argument. We told him to have a good day and walked out. One star for allowing us to show up late. :shrug: No value in this visit and no service was rendered. Just a massive headache from the traffic to get there and the unnecessary banter over social security numbers.
