Sadly, we didn't even have a chance to receive any service they provide. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Landed an appointment with this place after I called around to many tax places in and around Murrieta and majority of them accommodated business owners.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were just looking for simple tax filing for military family with property in different states. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I spoke to Claudia, I shared exactly that information and she said she can accommodate then had setup an appointment for us with her, months ahead before tax deadline.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked if she had a list of items she will need from us and she said we will receive a text.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fast forward to last week, I received a text to confirm my appointment with tax company, I confirm yes but didn't receive a list of things needed neither a secured link to drop required documents.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Night before our appointment my husband put together what we normally drop in a link for previous tax companies, W2, bank statements, receipts for medical, military, donation statements/receipts, work related mileage and uniform care, etc, tax documents from previous year, and of course government identification. We expected to have everything with us when we arrive at our appointment since we were traveling 40 miles one-way to get taxes done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We finally arrived 15 minutes late because of traffic we jumped on the Fastrack not realizing the next exit was a couple miles past our exit...lesson learned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Called to let Claudia know we will be late and check if we should just head back home. The gentleman who answered the call said Claudia was in a meeting and proceeded to say that he is actually going to take care of us and we can still show up for our appointment...interesting we got passed up to someone else but heck that's what we get for arriving late perhaps[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We arrive and was asked for our driver licenses, then was asked if we had our social security cards with us...that's a first! I told him we didn't know what you all needed from us so we just brought what we typically bring to tax appointments. And he says that they require a social security card and not to worry because we can just "email" photo images to him. In my line of work, I know that is unacceptable, in fact, all law enforcement affiliates would never recommend you send PII via non-secured email accounts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My husband chimed in and said we have never had to provide social security cards to any tax company and the guy interrupted my husband saying all tax companies do require a social security card by law...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I couldn't help but wonder if he thinks we file our taxes outside of the United States because we have been filing taxes for over 30 years and this is the first time any tax company has ever asked for our social security cards. But heck, seems like he wants to be right and that is ok. We were in traffic too long to argue with a wall. Perhaps they are unaware that when U.S. citizens acquire a government ID that social security cards were already verified to obtain a government ID...who knows. Well, we weren't going to sit there and argue with the guy. And we already knew that we don't care to travel another 80 miles just to bring our social security cards because our passports and or Driver licenses didn't suffice. Neither would we ever send photo images or typed characters of our SS numbers via email. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We already have to write our SS numbers on tax forms, if IRS cannot verify it with their super secret computers then it comes back to the tax-payer for proper verification. Simple as that and not worth the argument. We told him to have a good day and walked out[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One star for allowing us to show up late. :shrug:[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No value in this visit and no service was rendered. Just a massive headache from the traffic to get there and the unnecessary banter over social security numbers. read more

Words fail me in writing this review, for they simply do not grasp the beyond amazing & professional experience I had w/Ms. Claudia handling my tax needs!! Tried getting our taxes done by Noriega's Tax this week and it was a horrible experience. First down check was: [[HIGHLIGHT]]We made an appointment with Claudia and were handed off to someone else when arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not uncommon with these tax places so we sat down. Second down check is where the mess all started. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After sitting down the first question for us was "Why are you here?" Well, it's a tax place we weren't there to buy pig feed. Not a great start[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Next we were asked for our Social Security cards. We were not given instruction to bring these, so we didn't have them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The guy helping us shoved a note pad at me and said "write it down". I simply asked for what reason. His response was "so you don't forget". Harmless, but the way he implied I would forget didn't sit well with me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plus I had my own note book out already. I have never had to provide my SS card to any tax preparation company in the past, so I asked a simple question. "Why?" His answer was "That's the law ". He then wanted us to send a copy of our SS cards to an unsecured email instead of a secure drop box. I asked why they didn't use a secure box and he's response was "we just don't". [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well, I further asked questions about this so called law and he snapped at me saying his boss has done taxes for years and it's required.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead of showing me the law or allowing me to look it up myself he wanted to snap at me like a child. NOPE. That doesn't work with me. 20 years of military service and am 45 years old. I'm not about to be treated like a child from some tax guy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As we exited the business this guy had the nerve to mutter something at me instead of talking crap to my face.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WORH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!! I was very happy to see that they are taking very good healthy measurements for COVID-19. I was impressed and pleased. Mrs. Noriega has been making my taxes for the last 5 years. I'm so fortunate because she is a very honest, profesional and responsible person. Besides she cares not just about her job but her clients.
