Would not recommend this tax service . Very disappointed. 2023 tax return prepared and submitted incorrectly . I personally found mistake. Taxes had to be amended. Summary of estimate prepared incorrectly. If I would not catch it my self I would over pay over $3k. read more

Overall what I'd expect from a professional tax service. Efficient for sure and it is great that they have a list of items to gather prior to scheduling an appointment. Customer service wise, I can tell they provide good service. My appointment was fifteen minutes behind because they were still tending to a previous appointment. Cool for the person they were servicing cutting in to my appointment time, not so cool for me waiting, but again even that is expected as this has been the norm for me at the previous tax professional I've worked with the past 10+ years. I get working with people can go quick at times or it can go over, understandable. Knowledgeable and answered my questions satisfactorily. What caused me to come here this year is my previous tax pro is in LA and they were a bit messy with my scheduled appointment this year so I opted to try someone new and closer. Not at all dissatisfied with my decision to work with Woods. It is extremely close to my home and again overall they are what I expect from a tax pro. The only ding hindering a five star is their price is almost triple what I'm accustomed to paying for tax prep services. The drive to LA is almost worth it alone to save two thirds the cost of what I was charged here. After calling around prior to scheduling I had no idea tax prep costs that much out here these days. I guess I was locked in at a good price with my previous tax prep pro considering I've been going to him for many years. Glad they accepted the check in offer of 10% off via Yelp. Hopefully all goes well and the IRS does not contact me this year. To be determined if I'll be back here or return to my previous tax prep pro in LA next year but if at that time I'm not up for a drive to LA to save some money I'll be back here for sure. read more

I spoke on the phone before I drop my 22 forms off and told them that I had a trust and a personal account and that I wanted a quote. They had it for three days. I had to call them on a Friday, today, and they tell me they don't do trust! So they had my 22 returns for three days and now I have to wait for the following week to find someone that can do my returns. I lost the week. Because somebody in their office decided it wasn't important enough to call me. Also, they were more expensive than my previous accountant, who retired. read more
