There is no other business in Chico that I would trust to repair shoes, boots, slippers, etc. Pat is an old school craftsman. I've seen other reviews who said he "didn't do what I wanted" but I've found that, as long as you clearly state what you want done, that is what you will get. Each time I've use his services he talked with me about what I specifically wanted done and then gave me the options. I've chosen what I considered the best options (not necessarily the cheapest options) and have been extremely satisfied with the results and the price.

I was greeted and got to chat with the workers. They were very nice, the customer service was great. I came in to get taps at the bottom of my boots so that they last longer. It only costs $5 for the pair and I was out in about 5 minutes. I would highly recommend getting your good pair of boots tapped so that they last longer and your heel won't wear out giving them that uneven look. Can't wait to go back with some new boots. They also fix zippers and purses. I would highly recommend them.

Not a very comfortable conversation for a woman in her 30s. Maybe if your male you will fare better? 3. Literally sewed the laces into one of the repairs and didn't notice. When I took it back he didn't actually believe me and spend a good deal of time tugging on the lace expecting it to just come out. He did fix it for no charge but this indicates to me that he isn't very careful as he is working and doesn't check the work when he is done. 4. "Re-heeled" two of my pairs of boots. I specifically took them in because this is one of the only hiking shoes that Lowa doesn't replace the sole on. He said it could easily be done. hooray! After just two weeks the heel began to separate. I'm hoping it doesn't go any further. I bought some shoe goo to repair myself as I'd rather not go back again. 5. Repairs don't look good. If you have a nice pair of shoes I would suggest going elsewhere. Thankfully the boots I took in don't need to look good but in doing the re-heeling he scuffed up all sorts of things and the lines are super wonky. 5. Posted hours are incorrect and I get the feeling he just works when he wants to.

Aside, after retrieving my two tote bags, I immediately began using the black tote bag for carrying purchased shopping items while the Gianni Versace shopping tote carried my personal items. Preface: Slavik, the owner of RSR, i.e., Roseville Shoe Repair replaced the main zipper for the Gianni Versace tote bag, re-sewed/reinforced the exterior seams, reinforced the interior silk compartment's lining seams, and replaced the interior tote's compartment zipper. In addition, Slavik replaced the black tote's warped, old zipper--replaced tote with a new zipper and sewed via attaching two new black leather tote handles due to the original handles were literally disintegrating. FYI and BTW: What are the reasons the inability throwing or recycling either tote bag away? Why waste money, energy, and time repairing two "worthless" tote bags, eh, Shirley? WELP . . . Because the Lancôme black tote bag was the tote bag my Mom gave me along with the largest Lancôme skin care and make-up collection in production for my birthday present seven years before she passed away, i.e., the black tote bag possesses tremendously endearing, sentimental value. The craftsmanship is truly impressive! I cannot even tell where the repair was made, and I've been wearing them for my workouts ever since without any issues. ​Thanks to Roseville Shoe Repair, I now have two functional pairs of Kuru shoes for the price of one--which is a huge win since I rely on them for my plantar fasciitis.
