I completely forgot that I'd visited this place a few years ago. Came back for a late night dinner…read moreand was NOT disappointed. Ample flavor. Great serving size. Good service. And convenient location! I'd definitely visit again.

The drinks were blended very well and used fresh lime juice, which was nice. The appetizers -- the kimchi fries and the boneless wings were pretty standard. The fries were crunchy, but we felt like there was more cheese than there was kimchi and sauce, so we've had better kimchi fries elsewhere. The cheese was very gooey though. The boneless wings weren't as crunchy as they could have been, especially coming out in a stone dish, but the garlic soy sauce was still pretty good. Our mains were really good -- the japchae, which I ordered with fried tofu, had the right texture and flavor, and was delicious yet spicy. The tofu was a little bland though. My partner enjoyed the squid and pork belly dish and said that the sauce was similar to the japchae sauce. The portions were pretty normal and not too big, so we had a few leftovers but not too many. The prices were also pretty reasonable as well. Overall we were really happy with our food here and would come back if we ever visited again.

This restaurant brings us delicious food from The Ivory Coast of West Africa. The menu is simple…read morebut looks amazing with plenty of options. Everything is a la cart , but the portions are generous. Today I tried Krako , which isn't on the menu, but you might can ask for it. They said it's when the plantains are over ripe, they are smashed with spices and then fried . It was sooo good, though just a bit oily. Next, I decided to try their stewed goat and their signature spinach rice. The goat was unbelievably tender and the broth was so flavorful. I ended up mixing my rice Into the sauce after I'd eaten all the meat. I will definitely eat here again, I want to try their whole fried red snapper. Prices are affordable. My meal was about $35 with tip, and I have a to go container.

I had the Egusi soup w/fish & Cassava fufu (next time I wanna get it w/the smoked turkey) & my husband had the peanut soup w/smoked turkey & plantain fufu We also got Jollof rice to-go & that was bussin', not to forget the delicious hibiscus/pineapple juice they offer! I'm excited about our future dine-in's & I'm looking forward to trying the okra soup w/the yam fufu next The plantain fufu (my fav) has a slight sweetness that really compliments the peanut butter soup... & please give the staff grace... it's a small, busy business, so consider elsewhere if you're in a rush. The atmosphere was homely w/light Afro music in the background. If you have kids needing a highchair, I saw at least 1 lol so maybe bring your own chair just in case. Limited parking, so carpool if doing a group thing.

First time NO COFFEE....waitress laughed and said coffee machine broke. The food was served cold and bland; nothing special. Waitress never came around to see if we needed anything. Finally had to get up and go to counter to ask for assistance. Twice now the waitress either ignored us or was blind to us being there. Second time our food must have sat out waiting to be served and was cold and obviously dried out. Waitress was too busy chatting it up with another table, served three other tables that came in after us, talking on phone all whilst we sat ignored and waited ...watched ....waited ....waited and waited while our food sat waiting to be picked up and brought to our table. Absolutely unacceptable. Waitress needs training.

Unfortunately, this visit just wasn't it. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere, which was fine. A server came by to take our drink order, only to let us know they were out of both drinks we originally wanted. No big deal--we pivoted. But then my sweet tea came with Splenda and no spoon to stir it, and silverware never made an appearance at all. What really sealed it, though, was the service--or lack of it. Another server spent close to 20 minutes chatting with a table about something completely unrelated to the restaurant while we sat there unnoticed. During that time, three separate parties were seated after us and were promptly given menus, silverware, and attentive service. We were never checked on again. After sitting there watching everyone else be taken care of, it became pretty clear we weren't going to be served that day. So we got up and left. I always hate sharing experiences like this because I truly want local businesses to succeed. But service matters just as much as the food, and sadly, this visit missed the mark entirely.
