As for the quality & variety of food dishes available, whilst it is an improvement on Eastern Buffet's offerings, it falls way short of the excellent selection offered at the aforementioned Blossom Buffet. We will not return - we would rather take the 20 minute drive to Blossom!

I was quite impressed with their old school creamy jello desserts, just like my Grandma used to make. My favorite part was the made to order stir fry. Last, but not least, our waitress was quick to pick up our empty plates. I'd definitely go again to enjoy more of the buffet that I didn't have the chance to partake of.

They are fine but just so small. My Dad and his wife love this place. Coco the server hugged them and is the SWEETEST! Wow, she is just delightful. Anyway, the sushi I ate was fine. I didn't think it was the best but nothing wrong with it. They have a salad bar but I skipped that because I eat way too many salads in general. The mushrooms were great as was the pepper steak. The spring roll was not too great. They have a hibachi station. The lady working there could use a break because she was.........grouchy. Anyhow, I chose noodles, a variety of veggies and shrimp. I did not expect much but the shrimp was so delicious. My Dad's wife got chocolate ice cream and said it tasted like strawberry ice cream. He tasted it and thought it tasted spoiled. Very odd. They told Coco. I was skipping dessert anyway just because I was full. When I come back, I would be ok with coming here again.

I'm not sure if it's because they're new, but the food tasted fresher (more fresh? lol) and they seem to have more meat selections here. I will say the food got cold really quick once you got to the table so I don't think it was really hot in the display trays so that would be one of my only complaints. It is just another Chinese buffet but I would come back here for convenience since it is closer to home.

Chinese Buffet done right!…read more The Eastern Buffet has been around for a long time. This last visit I stopped in for lunch and was really impressed with the food quality. I ate as much Chinese chicken, fish, and fried rice as I could. The lunch price was around $15 and they had a solid selection of pretty much anything I could want from Chinese take out. Next time I want to eat my weight in Chinese take out I'll be stopping back in.

I see they add a gratuity automatically if you have more than 5 people sitting in one section. Thought that was a bit unusual but since it's a buffet maybe that's normal. The guys all had different things. The General Tso's chicken was deemed good, lots of items to choose from. I tried the chicken wings (just so-so), but nothing to write home about. I also tried some type of meat that looked good (almost like a beef stew) but it was ice cold. Terrible. Sample the fried fish filets and they were good. A bunch of us tried various sushi rolls and found them good, along with clams and mussels. There was something for everyone. The dessert had some vanilla pudding ( I think the guys thought it was a banana pudding), and to me it just looked like plain vanilla pudding with some wafers on the side. I passed on that. Quite a few had some of the mixed softserve ice cream and liked it. Three or four ordered from the "Make to order meals" where you select your meats, rice or noodles, and they prepare it for you. Overall it was a good experience. Average rating was a 4.1 for the group.

They do not actually closed at 10pm. Why? They actually shut kitchen down at 9:30pm. Technically it closes at 9:30. If they say they're open till 9:30pm. Means last u can place an order is 9pm, no exceptions. Management has nice people to be the face of stores so they can actually treat u how ever way they want. The front counter girls are the escape goat or should I say good cop. 2, twice I've asked for a paper receipt and management refuses one for me. Not only refuses it, he's pretty cocky and arrogant about it. I kindly asked, how come? He just brushed me off in a condescending way as usual. In front of his good cop, she was a very sweet African American young lady. I asked her again in a nice way again for the 3rd time, she never got to respond. The management person keep insisting on they don't do that. There's a receipt on the purchase online. I'm thinking why would that have anything to do with the fact that I wanted a piece of paper as record. Now being tired of the rejection I just left. If it's not a tax issue then it must be a paper saving issue. Didn't know customer service goes only 1 direction. Idk if the manager or the owner this guy was but it doesn't really matter. He was very confrontational again for the 5th towards me and people doesn't know that racism exists among us Asians. He's from mainland China I presumed, I'm an immigrant from Laos/thailand since the late 70's. The man is approximately 40ish give or take. Thinking to myself, If there should be any kind of protest?s? It should definitely be this location. Someone needs to be humbled bad. Can't accept the lame excuses of (Hey they have a family) who doesn't? Perhaps learn customer service if you're striving for success? We all go trials and tribulations to get here. Not just Chinese, being unkind just reminds me of how grateful many can be. If anything avoid if u can unless you're extremely hungry and must eat like yours truly, just don't be 1 second late. While some have that option you can simply order the tacos and a side of rice is served or you can add more to the plate. Service is fast you won't wait long for this fresh cooked food.
