The pizza is a great deal here. Plenty of groceries on top and they're pretty quick if you pick up. People are usually pretty friendly! If you order a fried product chances are it'll be packed in styrofoam. So something like order of fries take out are steamed when you get home. It was my husbands and I first time going to Presto. My husband went in and ordered us a large seafood sub. The owner told my husband we will not be disappointed. My husband came back to the car and told me to just hold the sub, it must of weighed AT LEAST 3 pounds. My first bite, i knew it was going to be a really good sub. Presto is a great place to grab a sandwich or a pizza. Staff is always friendly and delivery is quick and drives always wear masks which is appreciated. The top 2 sandwich's to get are the Chicken Parm grinder and the Steak and Cheese. Any of their pizzas are great and I enjoy most of the appetizers as well. read more

First and last visit. I ordered a large cheese pizza. The place is small and very cluttered feeling and there were WAY too many people behind the counter. They seemed to be walking all over each other. It took a little too long to pay for the pizza (which I felt was a over-priced). There was a child of about 12 or 13 or so trying to work the cash register and I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible to get away from the chaos in there. When I got home I was so disappointed! The pizza was BURNED and the box under the slices was seriously oily, so much so that I had to look under the box to see if oil was getting on my table. They had to know they were cutting and serving me a burned pizza. I was too tired to drive back to return it so they can have this negative post because they KNEW they were putting a burned pizza in the box. read more

If you've read my other reviews, one of my favorite weekend or "don't want to cook" night food choices is pizza. I generally do not like chains because the food is over-processed and plastic-like; no character. So, I try and visit mom-and-pop shops because, generally, the food is going to be better and priced about the same. I found Presto Pizza (PP) by complete accident. I was travelling through Lunenburg on my way else where and noticed that this place is extremely close to my home. Made a mental note to try their food. In short, by far and away, PP is one of the best places to get a good pizza at a very affordable price. Case in point? Ok...how about a large three topping pizza for about $14 after taxes? Yup! That's the "everyday" price, not a promo price like chains pull for one or two toppings, much less three. The location is literally right next to the former Whalom Amusement Park grounds, now known as "Emerald Place at Lake Whalom" just over the Leominster/Lunenburg border. The parking lot is small, shared with two other establishments, but you can almost always get a parking spot easily. The inside is bright thanks to large bay windows and quite cheery with paint color choices of blues, whites, and some traces of yellow. The owners/staff are always very nice and genuinely seem appreciative of customers which is great. In the pizza business, competition is beyond fierce, so the art of saying "thank you" and meaning it (as opposed to it being an automatic nicety) goes a long way. The few pizzas I have had from there have been simply amazing. The balance of toppings, sauce, and cheese is nearly always perfect so one does not outweigh the other. I will say though, if you request garlic, be warned: You'll GET garlic...lots of it. I love lots of garlic so it does not bother me, other may wish it was less in quantity. The other note with garlic is I noticed they use a garlic press and press it onto the pie after the sauce is on. Then the cheese is next, followed by toppings. This is how it should be done because most places will press the garlic on top then cook the pie. When garlic is overcooked/burned, it tastes very bitter. PP has it right. The latest pizza I had from PP was a gem: Grilled Chicken, Garlic, and Bacon (see picture). Hunks, I mean hunks, of real grilled chicken, generous amount of bacon cooked crisply, and of course the garlic. The dough seems it might be fresh, but I'm not sure. If it's frozen, I can't tell! It's not too thick, not too thin, cooked evenly and the crust is crunchy, yet chewy. I have had salads from PP, but I was less impressed. They were stock premade salads with an overabundance of iceberg lettuce and not much else. That was disappointing. I also had a chicken salad wrap that was, well, interesting. The chicken salad was homemade (or seemed to be) as it was not that creamed chicken salad most places peddle. The chicken was in chunks giving great texture, but there was an overload of mayonnaise. What promise the chicken salad had was literally drowned. Again, a disappointment. It seems pizzas are the forté there, so I stick with that as the menu choices are garden-variety offerings you find everywhere. Presto Pizza is now one of my go-to places for pizza when the mood strikes. The pricing is amazingly affordable for what you get compared to the competition, even after their recent price hike. If you live in the area and are looking for a great pie at an even greater price, Presto Pizza is one you should put on your list the next time you want pizza. read more

Our food came cold and our "buffalo wings" came as charred chicken wings. Out mozzarella sticks were cold, our pizza was cold and delivery took forever (40min) The pizza tasted good but the service was terrible. I've had good experiences before but this was very disappointing. read more

They've got good subs and salads. I order here a lot, and they have a great variety of things. You won't get any wilted lettuce or borderline veggies like other places try to to give you. The prices are reasonable too. read more

My neighbor said this was the best pizza and I had never eaten there in the 10 years I've lived in the area. He raved about it so I paid I ordered there in last week. Fries are great value, way too many to eat. Pizza was average, nothing special. We got a small and a large. Small pizza looked better with gooey cheese and soft crust. Large looked overcooked and cheese slightly burnt, crust was tough to bite. They do give good value in toppings plentiful pepperoni and mushrooms on our pie. Unsure if we will visit again. read more

Just moved to the area. Read the reviews and tried the recommended Chicken Finger Pizza. It is amazing. This thing is loaded with chicken finger pieces. Lots of cheese. Crust is not too bread-y. Sauce is average, not too sweet. Our pizza was hot and ready when we went to pick it up. We will definitely be ordering from here again. read more

I would give them 0 stars if that were possible. We ordered subs from here and my son got food poisoning . We called back to tell the owner what happened and he told us we were full of shit even though my son was in the bathroom puking his brains out . He refused to refund our money . I decided to give them another try with ordering a pizza and they refused service . I highly recommend you do not give them business as they do not stand behind their product and refuse to make right a wrong they have committed. read more

I ordered a party pizza from Presto today in the midst of a snow storm. I asked the owner how much the pizza cost on the phone. He told me it varied based on the number of toppings from $18.99 to $29. I told him I wanted one topping on my pizza. When I arrived to pay for the pizza, somehow the price was $28!!! When I asked him what happened, he told me that I ordered a "specialty" topping. He did not mention that over the phone! All he explained was one topping would cost close to $19. I have never paid so much for a pizza in my life. He was unapologetic and I will not return there again. I don't do business with people who try to trick me. read more

The new gluten free pizza is great!

I used to be the BIGGEST fan of Presto Pizza....until tonight. While finishing the leftover pizza from Saturday night, I bit into the crust and much to my surprise was a metal shaving! So, I called Presto to advise them of the issue so that they'd be aware and check their inventory of dough (suppliers, etc) to see if they 'might' have a problem. I first spoke to a very nice woman who was seemingly concerned and immediately suggested that I speak to the owner. After I explained to him what happened and that I nearly choked on this very sharp metal shaving, his question was....'what do you want me to do?' Seriously????? I explained to him that it could be a problem for him if it were someone else. He pacified my by telling me that he'd 'look into it'. Yup....DOUBT IT!!! Not once did he offer compensation, concern for if I was cut or injured, or even ask for my name or telephone number so he could let me know what he found. I guess I expect too much from today's businesses! So, if you order from them, beware! read more
