When I opened the door the ladies were there and so was the mail man with a package I had to sign for in order to receive. So, I am guiding the ladies in, signing a receipt, telling the caller to hold on, and my little dog is excited with all this activity. The team went right to work! When I got off the phone and went to formally greet them they pleasantly stopped for a moment to exchange greetings and get some details about something I wanted them to do on this visit. I have had individual house cleaners, small and large company cleaners, but never have I had the efficient, detailed cleaning as I had with Two Maids and a Mop. I cannot believe I waited so long to set an appointment. I am so glad that I finally tried this company. I will be a regular customer. Great job! Thank you. Amoke A.

Whatever you do, don't agree to automatic scheduling because they won't let you opt out of it. Nor will they let you cancel appointments, however much notice you give. I cancelled an appointment two weeks in advance, BOTH by phone and by email. Then two days before the cancelled appointment, they emailed me a confirmation of the appointment, as if it were still scheduled. When I emailed them to protest, they replied that the message was sent in error by a former employee. (This was implausible, but fine: no harm done.) Then, two days later, at the time of the cancelled appointment, the cleaners came anyway. I wasn't available then, so I had no choice but to send them away. I called the company to complain about their aggressive practices and to rebuke them for wasting their cleaners' time, but they neither answered the phone nor replied to a subsequent email I sent. Avoid them!!!!!!

It was easy to schedule a time for her to evaluate the job. She confirmed the appointment, checked in during the day and arrived on time. She took her time to look over my entire house and made suggestions and asked questions. We agreed on a price and I agreed to pay extra to have even more detailed work outside of the normal scope. Joung arrives with documentation in hand. You can see her license and liability insurance certificate. She one again followed up to confirm the cleaning appointment. They showed up very early to accommodate the carpet cleaners which were arriving on the same day. The cleaning job was beyond my expectations. I have used cleaners for other client jobs and am never quite impressed. With Joung's service I was impressed. The house looks spotless. Every nook and cranny is clean. The fridge and stove too look better than I ever had it looking. She checked in after the job to make sure I was satisfied. I don't think you'll find anyone more professional, caring and proud of her work. I felt taken care of the minute we first communicated. She kept her appointment and delivered, I will happily recommend her to anyone in the area. My house received offers as soon as it went on the market. They did an amazing job making sure that my appliances were clean and I truly appreciated it. However, when I began to move in and put stuff away I noticed that the inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers were not cleaned at all. I ran my finger across the bottom and there was so much dust and debris. The same goes for all of the light fixtures. It seemed like they didn't dust anything and just did a surface wipe down. I ended up having to re-clean everything myself. I was very disappointed with having spent $400, I definitely felt like I didn't get what I paid for. I will say that they were kind when I spoke with them on the phone, I haven't had a chance to call back regarding this issue (I had it cleaned in the beginning of April) and I know it's well past that time but Ive had a lot of things hitting me back to back so tried to let it go and I'm sorry, I just couldn't. It bugs me a lot. I'd definitely be happy if something could be worked out regarding this but I also completely understand if nothing can be done because it's been so long. Like I said, they were very kind and did a great job with the appliances, I just strongly urge you to thoroughly check after they're done cleaning.

However, I was directed to the trash area for the packing foam. I know the county does not recycle foam. We will look into a way to do that. I am impressed with MOCO's effort to separate and recycle trash as much as possible. Only 4 stars due to inability to recycle packing foam.

Especially if the junk you have is more than the garbage workers can handle. For a long time we have had bedding frames that should have been removed by Bob's Discount Furniture. The people assigned to remove the bedding refused to take frames. Long story short,...the hell with Bob's Discount Furniture. Today, I am taking the bed flats to The Montgomery County Shady Grove Transfer Station and Recycling Center. When I lived in Rockville, I remember passing this place a number of times and never gave it a second thought. The signs for where to go aren't to clear, but once you enter through the main gates it pretty much a direct path. Once you get to the top of the hill, the garbage waste is on the left. There is also a place to get rid of unwanted oil. If you go to the left, the first station you will see on your right is the electronics center. This is for unwanted computers, tv's, playstation, xbox and holiday lights to name a few. Behind the electronics disposable is the paper recycling center. Unwanted bicycles are sometimes deposited here as well. The next location is for Residential Oil Waste. I have not needed to visit this location except for driving around it. Getting rid of the planks from our old bed was very satisfying. Granted I would have like to recycle the wood, but I had more issues with trying to recycle wood "the right way", that I no longer cared what happened to the wood. Nevertheless, in just a few short minutes I was able to get rid of what I did not want. This place makes the Virginia Recycling Center look like child's play. My plan is to get rid of the last three sections of our old bed by next week. We will see what happens when that time comes.
