Upon arriving, we had a rough start finding the entrance and where to go for parking. The signs are really hard to see at night. And me, with my night time astigmatism, even harder. Lol! Either that or my husband and I are just blind. BUT we found it. Just before the house, there are signs wrapped in Christmas lights and it takes you to the parking area. I was feeling a little bummed out and thought, "ugh this is already a bad review from me." I held on and kept the Christmas spirit (for my son and nephew of course lol). HOW was I going to let my blindness (not being able to see the parking entrance) ruin my experience?! I'm SOOOO GLAD I didn't throw a fit and kept going with the flow. Because BOY!! I tell you, the PERFECT SPOT for me and my little family. I don't like big crowds and crowded areas. This place was perfect. Although, I did wish there were more people because this place is WORTH the visit and trip. It was such a warm and welcoming spot! Definitely a cozy place. I loved that they had a bunch of spots for photo ops and family Christmas pictures! What a smart idea! If you're a photographer looking for a spot for clients, I recommend here. The have rope for those traveling in cars (to tie down), they can clip the bottom with a fresh cut and drill a hole. They have a Teepee with a fire pit and smores sticks. Grab your s'mores kit and hangout. The Christmas music playing throughout, just makes it so much cozier. The slides and animals were my son's favorite. My husband has consistently followed-up 3-4 times since they reached out in October so we could see when we'd be on the schedule. Today, I'm sure because of my husband's follow-up, we received an email saying they won't be able to install this year due to staffing issues. I understand staffing issues and they are Christmas lights- not the end of the world- I'm disappointed about the lack of communication and the fact they waited too long to tell us. I'm convinced they only told us because my husband kept reaching out. There is no way I can find someone now that it's the middle of November. I believe in excellent customer service and effective communication- this situation failed in both areas. If you need something I'm sure they will have it here. Plants, seeds, fertilizers, soil and little things like pots are available year round. The west side of the building is pretty much dedicated to house plants. Small to large, there is almost always a plant that you are looking for available. I've even bought plants in the middle of winter! During the spring you can grab almost any plant for your garden. They have so many varieties of tomatoes and peppers in multi packs you could buy your garden on one trip. You can buy bare roots for planting as well as seeds if you want to start from ground zero (pun intended.) Check their website to see what the monthly specials are. You can get great discounts at the end of the season on plants as well. Parking is abundant and this place covers a large area. Bigger items like trees and shrubs are outside the actual greenhouse so if you are going to buy items that are larger, you should park around the side by the east gate. It's separated by plant type outside so you can easily navigate to find what you need. Even if you aren't looking to buy something quite yet, just take a walk around the place and see what they have to offer. The staff is so nice and if you have a question (no matter how difficult) there is someone there to help you out. Brad is the man when it comes to plants. He knows the little tricks and tips to growing what you need. They also feature classes to help you become a better gardener and plant person! Bottom line is, come here! It's very likely they will have anything you need related to your plant needs.
