Around 2:30 PM I received a phone call from the technician (Nick?) saying that there was a service call charge of $250 to come out to provide an estimate. The short version of this review is that Alex and his team make things easy. They provided top quality service, at reasonable prices, and were done quickly! The slightly longer version is after several years of talking about getting a split system to replace the various window units I'd been using, I finally pulled the trigger this year. I had several contractors out to provide estimates. Right out of the gate, I appreciated Alex's approach. While the other contractors discussed various options with eyeball estimates, Alex actually took a few measurements to come up with ideas which could actually be implemented. As a result, he presented a few ideas on how to run things that others missed and (imo) offered the best end solution. Obviously pricing is going to be specific to the job at hand and a variety of other factors. In my case, I found the pricing to be very competitive while offering name brand and better equipment than others. A small deposit was required, which is fairly standard. When it came to installation, the team worked hard, quick, and clean. I got a 4 zone unit covering my Master bedroom, office, guest bedroom, and living room. They worked a slightly long first day to get all the physically installation done (along with all the loud work, so to speak). They came back for a half day to tie up the electrical, help me get the wifi setup, and wrap up. Regarding the electrical, in my case they needed to add a subpanel and when they noticed a few things not done quite right in my existing box, they made the necessary fixes/adjustments! The end result was top quality across the board. I'm comfortably sitting in the A/C as I type this review. Happy to provide Joint Way a 5-star review and have already recommended them to a few friends considering split systems. Hopefully this review and the accompanying few photos help your decision making process.
