My appointment was at 8am, I arrived 15mins earlier as stated in my appointment details however the place was dark! I thought well maybe someone is o the way on and they'll be here soon. Nope! 8:15am now and at this point I'm solely waiting to talk to someone to complain that my appointment was at 8am and how could they book people when staff isn't here! There's also another lady as well who was waiting and also had a 8am appt. There's time is now 8:35am and still no one! I will never recommend or waste any more of my time at this dentist office. His team here is also great. Everyone I've worked with has been very pleasant and helpful. His hygienists are especially good too. Thanh has been my hygienist here for the last year or so and she has a gentle touch and is knowledgeable, helpful, and just the right amount of scolding when I admit I haven't been flossing everyday. Worth mentioning that I first started seeing Dr Tang when I lived on that side I town. I have continue to see him after I move almost an hour away about 5 years ago. Both my daughter and I inform them she has terrible TMJ and needs a break to close her mouth every 10-15 minutes. Sure, ok, no problem we are told. NOPE, once they started, they NEVER stopped. She was crying in pain and they just kept saying we can't stop. "The mouth guard won't be sanitary anymore". SO use a NEW one, like other better dentists do!!! NEVER ever again will we or anyone else we know, will ever go there again!!!!

Dr. Van Ryn, his secretary Jaylin, and his various assistants are exactly what I was looking for in my dental care. I have had a lot of work done over the years and needed to find a place I could return for regular maintenance. I couldn't be happier with them. They are patient, attentive, caring, detail-oriented, and customer service oriented. One salient example of their 10/10 status occurred when I submitted the wrong version of my Delta Dental insurance. The covered amount of my root canal was therefore miscalculated, and I was surprised to receive an automatic email saying I needed to pay several hundred more. When I brought this up to Jaylin, he conferred with Dr. Van Ryn and said "don't worry about giving us more money; it was our duty to make sure we were submitting to the correct insurance." I was blown away. The cleaning was very thorough, the endodontist recommendation was fantastic, and the crown was well-made. Dr. Van Ryn is fantastic at finding nerves to numb you up fast. He's also efficient with his time, and you're not in the chair for long. Please ignore the 1-star reviews about former staff membes and come to this clinic for your dental care. I have had a bunch of different work done here (cleanings, fillings, retainer fittings), and everything has gone off without a hitch. Both dentists are really great about explaining their processes and they normally offer a sip of water or a short break if things are getting overwhelming. One of the best things about Steinbach Dental is the TV installed on the ceiling above the patient's chair. They let you flip on any channel you want. It's pretty great to watch the Food Network or HGTV to distract you from your teeth getting worked on. The building is clean and surprisingly cozy for a medical facility.
