Nobody likes going to the dentist, right? Well what if you went to a dentist that puts YOU first…read more What if you had a dentist that wants to accommodate his patients and make them happy. That's how Dr. Klug runs his practice. He's been practicing dentistry for over 20 years, and he takes a more conservative approach to treatment. By this I mean that he will never subject you to unnecessary treatments to pad his wallet. The last dentist I went to told me I would need thousands of dollars in dental work. When I came to Dr. Klug, he told me that it's not that bad, and if it's not bothering me, we'll just keep an eye on it and if it would get worse, we'll talk about it then. I can handle this! I first came to Golden Oak Dental for Invisalign. My teeth were a little crooked, and I was a good candidate for Invisalign. I pointed out what I wanted to achieve, and Dr. Klug understood exactly what I wanted and designed my treatment accordingly. I am so pleased with my results! Dr. Klug gave me a perfect smile! I use Golden Oak Dental for all my dental needs now. They even offer a discount program for people, like me, that don't have insurance. You pay $250 a year and get 2 cleaning/exams, plus you get 17% off any additional services. The entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so nice, and they treat you like a human being, not a chart number.

My son has had to have 2 teeth pulled and 6 cavities filled. This is was completely missed after going on a regular cadence every 6 months. The same goes for my 8 year old son as well, completely missed my son left side with Xrays that resulted in a root canal, this is after just being at the office for a cleaning 6 months ago. I have never been so upset watching my two boys go through so much pain that could of been avoided with the proper care.

Prior to Dr. Ramer, I had just had a filling done in almost every back tooth at another office downtown (and I had not gotten a second opinion, unfortunately), and had pain in every tooth for months after. I went to an endodontist, who advised me that because I was young, I should just wait it out rather than jumping to get root canals. Then I went to Dr. Ramer, who advised me the same thing, and recommended that I get a night guard since I grind and clench my teeth at night, and it was likely irritating the new fillings. Game changer! The pain went away. He went out of his way to make the guard comfortable, and even fixed it rather than replacing it a few years later when I chewed right through it. The front desk staff were excellent-- super friendly, never had any billing issues, and the hygienists were great as well. But mostly, Dr. Ramer was a great, conservative dentist who did not jump to any unnecessary procedures, and preferred to put watches on teeth that looked questionable rather than jumping in to drill right away and damage more tooth structure. Now I'm trying to find a dentist with a similar background in Denver--not easy!

I've been going to this office for about 10 years, and I've never had a bad experience. From simple…read morecleanings to some extensive work I've had done, the staff is professional and worked with me on everything from treatment options to payment options. I've had no problems here. The doctors ensure that you understand the procedure before they do the work. They take the time to answer any questions. They also explain thoroughly the risks associated with any work. I've been lucky; I've never had any issues with their work. (I've even filled prescriptions for pain killers that I've never needed. But I understand my situation may be unique and not all patients will be so lucky.) And, the doctor's have personality. They joke and keep everything rather light-hearted, which can put people with dental anxieties at ease. But let's face it. If you don't take care of your teeth, you're likely to have a much more negative experience at any dentists office. Take care of your teeth, and it's likely you'll never have a bad experience at a dentist's office. Bottom line, it's a great place that is welcoming and willing to work with patients to make sure they are healthy.

My searching for another option in my insurance network led me to Fox Point Dental Studio and it was an amazing experience. Everyone, from Rachel at the front desk to Emily my technician to Dr Charlie were wonderful to deal with and incredibly friendly. The waiting room--while a bit small--was comfortable and well-appointed (never seen a beverage center and K cups for those waiting before!). X rays were the panoramic ones and while pain to remove my earrings, I prefer that over the other ones that require you to bite down a million different times. I was bracing for a number somewhat closer to the $3,900 that the previous dentist quoted me and I nearly fell out of my chair when they came back with $695. I practically threw my credit card at Rachel right then and there! I loved this experience so much that I made an appointment for a cleaning for later in the year right away. Did I mention they have televisions on the ceiling? I got to watch house porn about Little House Living while they did their thing in my mouth. Definitely made the experience more calming. If I had to give them something to work on, it would be the electronic appointment system. They make you select three times and I indicated in the notes what my preference was but that seemed to be overlooked during the appointment process. I was working from home that day so it wasn't a big deal, but something to consider for the future.

After having the permanent placed, I noticed that it was the wrong color. Dr. Art initially said it was the right color, which shows how he was gaslighting me, because then later on he admitted that while he ordered the correct color the lab created the wrong color. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they said the color was horribly wrong and he used the completely wrong material. They could not believe that any dentist would cement a gigantic improperly colored crown on someone like that and it showed how unprofessional and inexperienced he is. Dr. Art said he would redo it for free, then Dr. Art called me up himself (highly unusual) and said that he would prefer that I get it done elsewhere and would refund me for it (highly unprofessional). I confirmed with him and his staff that they would refund what I paid and what my insurance paid them. They said that they would refund what I paid and what my insurance paid them, but they would need proof of crown in order to do that. Then when I sent them the proof of crown they gaslit me again and lied and said that they would only refund what I paid. They lied on their internal notes as well. Dr. Art went to dentist school during the pandemic so he has very little dental experience, zero professionalism, and is incredibly rude. His tableside manner is disgusting. Stay away from this place at all cost!!

As you wait, there is a spread of fresh cookies and your choice of refreshments at your disposal. Matt Vandermeuse did my Zoom whitening treatment. From start to finish he explained what he was going to do next and why. Understanding that there are many people with a fear of the dentist, he consistently asked me what questions I had for him and how was doing throughout the process. Upon exiting, I was ecstatic with my whitening results. Matt was able to remove spots on my teeth that I never thought possible. I recommend him to anyone thinking about whitening. A bonus to using Matt is that he is readily available anytime you have a question via phone, cell, and email. I highly recommend Levine Dental!
