I have had numerous conversations in the past with Victoria who has completely blocked me from being able to get the care that I need. I didn't find out until after my wisdom teeth were pulled that the migraines I have had my entire life are due to the malformation of the bone structure in my mouth. I had to jump through hoops with my insurance company in order to get out of network approval because 1 it's technically considered the result of TMJ even though it's not actually the joint but the bone structure itself, and 2 because there isn't anyone else in a 100 mile radius that we could find that does this type of procedure. I was told that in order to be seen and be put on the waiting list I would need to have x-rays sent over, which I paid for out of pocket and had sent over in approximately March of 2021. I had emailed and called numerous times over the first couple of years, all being told I was on the list. I was told by Victoria numerous times that they don't take my insurance, which I told her on each occasion it had already been preapproved because there wasn't any other option I could pursue. The only option I have to end my constant migraines was to have orthognathic surgery. On one of the last occasions because Victoria got snarky with me about billing she transferred me to a nice lady in the billing department, with whom confirmed that she has done out of network billing plenty of times. During our conversation I had made the comment that I had been waiting for well over a year to be seen. The billing agent was shocked because she had never heard of anyone waiting that long before. She transferred me back to scheduling to which Victoria told me that she was mistaken and that I was on "the list". This should truly be a form of medical malpractice to deny patients medical care that they need. I have lived with life long constant migraines that should have been resolved by now. Unfortunately they are not because Victoria has deemed that I'm apparently not worthy of medical care, and she knows that other patients are in more pain than I am as she stated after I said that I needed the surgery because I have at least some level of constant pain. People like me fall through the cracks because I'm just stuck with not being able to get medical care even though I need it, and trying to go through the Department of Human Services and filing a complaint doesn't do anything because I haven't even been seen as I'm still on "the list".

The billing department couldn't get it right to have our insurance pay for the procedure. We finally got it right but it shouldn't have taken three calls to their billing department and one to our insurance. Finally, they gave too much anesthesia to patient for procedure. No questions were asked about the patient's history with medication and, as a result, too much was given. Patient was groggy for far longer than normal for the procedure. Beware when dentists do their own anesthesia!

After being told that a root canal wasn't the answer, my dentist recommended Dr Walloch at Milwaukee Oral Surgery in Menomonee Falls. I have high dental surgery anxiety, so I was fearful of getting the extraction. When I arrived at the office, the receptionist, Janet, was very professional, and then my tech, Karen, and Dr Walloch, very quickly, had me prepped and assured me that the process would go quickly. After the extraction, they provided me with post op supplies and great instructions for post op care. Following their instructions, the bleeding stopped after about 4 hours, and I have not even taken any pain relief for the surgery. This was about as great an experience that I ever could have expected. Thank you Dr Walloch and team at Milwaukee Oral Surgery in Menomonee Falls.

I was fortunate to be able to see my primary dentist the following Monday. It was felt that a root canal would be needed, and I luckily was able to see a specialist that morning due to a cancellation. Unfortunately, the specialist terminated the procedure due to the extent of hidden decay present, and I was referred to Milwaukee Oral Surgery and Implants to have the tooth removed after a course of antibiotics to treat the infection. The entire staff at Milwaukee was courteous, diligent, and helpful with scheduling, follow-up reminders, and communication. Dr. Wallock exceeded my expectations. The extraction was difficult given the condition of the tooth (partially removed, infected, and decayed).I was concerned about the healing period given the infection and pain endured to that point. Dr. Wallock prescribed adequate pain medication and called me the following morning to see how I was feeling. He also gave me his personal cell number to call if there was a need. That in itself is unheard of in the medical profession (at least in my experience). After a few days, my pain was not decreasing, and I was concerned. I called, left a VM, and spoke with Dr. Wallock within an hour. He agreed that I might still have a lingering infection and prescribed an additional course of antibiotics. Within two days, the majority of my pain and discomfort began to diminish. Dr. Walloch helped get me past a difficult two weeks so that I could enjoy a scheduled vacation 10 days after the removal. This is the level of care one should expect to receive when dealing with a significant health issue. I highly recommend Dr. Walloch and the clinic collectively.

Then a nurse told me I can make an appointment for filling. So, I did. However, on that day of my appointment, doctor told me I need a deep clean. I thought he will do that instead of filling. Nope. His nurse told me that I need to leave and make another appointment. So annoying! Plus, I have a disability and they are given me superiority complex vibe. Hope I can get my teeth filling soon and then I can never come back.

I get one cleaning a year. I told them then I'll pay out of pocket. Again I'm waiting a while for them to do the cleaning. They come in and tell me I need to pay for the visit right away as I am still waiting for my cleaning . I didn't have my phone with me. They wouldn't stop harassing me bc I didn't have my wallet on me. I told them I would pay after. Like I said I had no idea about my insurance. You'd think they would tell me considering they pulled up my history of my dental appointments in front of me. There power kept going out. Especially when I was doing my X-ray. It was very dirty in there. The bathroom had no toilet paper and was very dirty. They didn't have a toilet anywhere by the waiting room.

They were very flexible with booking my appointments, and got me on the books very quickly. As I entered, I noticed the office was extremely clean and updated. I was warmly greeted by Jackie and LIsa. Any paperwork I needed to fill out was explained to me. I found that they recently went paperless. As you wait, there is a spread of fresh cookies and your choice of refreshments at your disposal. Matt Vandermeuse did my Zoom whitening treatment. From start to finish he explained what he was going to do next and why. Understanding that there are many people with a fear of the dentist, he consistently asked me what questions I had for him and how was doing throughout the process. Upon exiting, I was ecstatic with my whitening results. Matt was able to remove spots on my teeth that I never thought possible. I recommend him to anyone thinking about whitening. A bonus to using Matt is that he is readily available anytime you have a question via phone, cell, and email. I highly recommend Levine Dental!
