He came out, charged me several hundred dollars and told me that he unclogged the line and also ran a camera down it and told me that my main drain line had nothing wrong with it. At the time I believed him, but come to find out later that there is no way that he could have ran a camera down my drain line because I didn't have a clean out for him to enter through. Plus my sewer line had completely collapsed so there was no way that he ran a camera down otherwise he would've seen that the line was collapsed and had roots growing it it. He wouldn't have been able to run the camera line all the way down it because it was collapsed right after it comes out of my house. He said the entire drain line was fine! The other issue he was supposed to fix was a problem Under my kitchen sink- under the house and with the clean out to the side of the house. The clean out was inaccessible bc it was painted over so many times by past owner. So he was supposed to fix the plumbing problem under the sink and replace the clean out as well. Well, he put a new clean out in but he did such a terrible job That the glue or mortar that he used completely sealed up the clean out and it couldn't be accessed. My new plumber had to fix that. He also tried to charge me way more than his quote, and when he gave me the bill, he was charging me for time that he wasn't even here when he and his guys took a lunch break and other time as well that they were not even present at my home. Then Alex threatened me in my home when I asked about the incorrect billing. He demanded I pay him the exact amount he wanted from me right then without any itemized bill at all. He told me if he gave me an itemized bill he was going to charge me even more. He told me if I didn't pay him right then and without an itemized bill, he would go under my house, and rip out all of my plumbing lines. I got him out of my house first and then stood my ground on needing an itemized written bill. I don't know how Alex came to me recommended or how he has so many good reviews. I had another plumber out because I was still having issues and I have all sorts of pictures that show he lied and did not do what he was supposed to. Do yourself a favor and have nothing to do with this Plumber.

I placed a request through Angie's List to get estimates for installing a water softener at a house…read moreI was buying. Blue frog plumbing immediately called me to schedule an appointment. On Monday, June 15 they came out to meet me and the realtor at the vacant house that I would be purchasing within a couple of days. I asked the technician for a couple of estimates and to al find out where the water shut off valve is located. While I was inside the house meeting with the pest control company the technician came in and asked if he could show me something. We went outside and he explained that the water shut off valve broke off when he shut off the water. He acted confused and asked what he was supposed to do indicating that he thought I should pay for them to repair their mistake. I said he needed to fix what he broke and I wasn't even the owner of the house yet and that I did not ask him to shut off the water but only to simply find where it was located. The technician went on to say that if I was going to order work on other items that they would deduct the price from the estimates of other items that I was considering. I said again this was not my problem and that they had to fix what they broke because I was not even the owner of the house yet. He then said he had to go call his boss and then he spent a long time in the car on the phone while I was waiting. We then contacted the company ourselves and explain the issue and they said they would fix it. The technician came back inside and said he couldn't fix it at that time and would have to come back. He also emailed me estimates for some of the other items I was considering. The prices that they quoted to me were absolutely ridiculous. For example for them just to install a water softener that I would go to Home Depot and purchase was $1650. Installation for a tankless hot water heater was close to $5000. When I asked him to figure out why the gas fireplace wouldn't ignite or why the Jets in the tub would not work he barely spent any time figuring that out and said they would have to come back. Based upon my experience with this company and the fact that they did not want to take responsibility for what he did which is break some thing that they were looking at an acted like I had to pay for it I would never use them. In fact please do not use this company if this is the kind of work they do. Totally incompetent and they did not want to take responsibility for their screw up. Just awful. Stay away. Update 6/28/20: The owner of the business contacted me and asked me to remove this review because they fixed the problem. I do not believe in doing that and I believe what I am seeing is truthful. Just because he fix the problem doesn't change the history of what happened. Also for reference I have since had a water softener installed for $1000 total including the softener which directly contradicts what the owner of this business claimed saying that it's very expensive to have water softeners install. A total bunch of BS profit taking nonsense. Do not use this business
