I have been coming here for the past 4 years and here are some thoughts I have... 1. I LOVE the freezes and the juices and I'm a regular who goes at least once every couple weeks. So nothing wrong with the items! 2. When I first came here, I loved the service. The workers made connections and were very hospitable. However, it is no longer that way now. I always see one or two blonde girls that barely smile at you and serve you like they just need to get it done. I see them regularly, I don't know if one of them is the manager but when you ask a question or state a concern they don't elaborate or try to help. It's one word or phrase answers. She seems very unhappy with her job and it shows and really brings down the mood. For coming there regularly, you'd think they would know and acknowledge her regulars but they don't any longer. The last time I came here, I asked for chocolate sauce on my freeze and the same blonde girl, shook the bottle and there was a bunch of water in it. She poured it on my freeze and a bunch of water squirted all over and drowned my freeze when I got it. It was super unappetizing and she acted as though nothing was wrong. I'm sorry but I would've noticed that and offered to make a new one. Surprisingly the juices kept my stomach content during whole the day and evening. Finally got to try this! I always pass by this place when walking to Shirokiya, but always forget to grab some juice before heading home. I got the 4 for $24 deal and had a hard time choosing which one! There are so many choices, however I did know that I didn't want to go too green on my first go at pressed juice. I played it safe with citrus and apple type of juices. It was the right choice because I want more now! My husband decided to try the Apple, ginger, lemon, cayenne and the green 2. Phew was the apple, ginger, lemon, cayenne was so spicy! Ack! It's a good thing that wasn't my juice and I only took a sip of it. Ack again! Maybe one day I'll try the juice cleanse. Stopped in to check it out while walking around Ala Moana. Their juices look good but what caught our eye was the plant based non-dairy frozen treat which looked much like soft serve ice cream. I am OBSESSED with the press freezes here. For one, everything is vegan which makes those cravings for dessert a much easier find. It's located in the bottom floor of ala moana and has a "corner location" somewhat. You can choose from maybe 3-4 bases I think chocolate, vanilla, pumpkin, and another I haven't tried so I can't remember. Anyways, I order a small size with Vanilla base, my toppings are the chocolate chips, Cookie crumbles, and the BEST part is the granola butter on top. The picture I will share was my first time there which was a specialty already made with toppings menu I chose from so the only difference was the drizzle on top. The one pictures is chocolate and the one I now LOVE is granola butter. Also, I love the oat milks here I am a Vanilla fan. This summer seems hotter than usual. Sometimes, I just go into a store just for the air conditioning - a temporary relief from the Hawaiian humidity. That's what my intentions were when I entered Pressed Juicery at the Ala Moana Shopping Center in Honolulu... until the friendly staff offered me a sample... and another sample... and another... then another... By that time, I looked at the special promotion which was a "Back to School Cleanse" - six juices for $38 (includes 2 Signature juices worth $9 each plus 4 regular juices worth $7.50 each). This would be a savings of $10. I thought: "Dealages" (Bruddah Fran's word for Good Bargain)! I should do it! So then - the quest began for the best tasting juices. Some were really "earthy" tasting (Roots 1), and some were "vinegary" tasting. I didn't want the fruity ones because of the sugar content, so I focused on the Roots choices and the Greens options (as opposed to the Citrus line and the Fruit juices). The workers were quite knowledgeable and patient while encouraging. I remember hearing about my friends doing "cleanses" - how they felt better, lost a few pounds, and felt more energetic. I saw people checking in to Pressed Juicery, but I never thought that I could do it... but - I did it! And I lived to tell the story! Yes - I enjoy my food, but sometimes I'm too exhausted from working graveyard shift to buy produce, clean it, prepare it, AND chew it. It makes more sense for me to just drink my meals and not have to wash the dishes. I need to go to sleep and not waste time using a blender or waste money buying a processor that I won't use, right? The only thing about juicing is that it really flushes out the kidneys. I'm not used to drinking so much liquid - each bottle is 16 ounces. That means 2 cups in six bottles is a total of 12 cups of fluids. Yes! Prevent kidney stones! Also - I kind of missed the chewing/tasting process - especially since I prefer crunchy/savory food. However, I was able to survive on this liquid diet, knowing that it was temporary and "healthy". Once upon a time, I was interested in the juice cleanse craze. But instead of jumping on the wagon, I did some research and found out that while it gave some people massive amounts of energy; for others it made them cranky. On the suggestion of a friend, I sampled all four offered flavors: greens, fruits, chocolate, and vanilla. You can get two flavors twisted or side by side. I did not like the greens and chocolate. At all. The fruits were okay, but I liked the vanilla flavor the best. It's made with almonds, dates, vanilla bean, and sea salt. It was the creamiest of the four and the sweet taste of the dates really came through. But I think if you are a fan of the juices, you'd love the same flavors in the freezes. A small, which was big enough to share, costs $5 for the Freeze alone. For $6.75, you can add toppings. I added strawberries, shredded coconut, and granola. Other toppings include blueberries, raspberries, pineapple, chia seeds, shaved almonds, honey, almond butter, cacao drizzle, dark chocolate chips, and pink Himalayan sea salt. The Freeze was tasty and you'll feel good about it serving it to your kids as it's a healthy choice over ice cream and other desserts. Recently after gorging ourselves at the Shirokiya Japanese Village Walk, we roamed around the corner past Bloomingdales' and noticed this business. Granted, Pressed Juicery is still relatively new but the juicing concept is not. Juicing is a great way to get us humans to eat more fruits and vegetables in our lives. To drink your fruits and vegetables makes being healthy a lot easier. We walked into this sliver of a storefront and were energetically greeted by Kelsey and Patrick. Patrick was busily making a "freeze" (soft-serve version of any of their cold pressed juices) for a customer and artfully decorated this customer's freeze with toppings of her choice. Kelsey was very friendly and offered us samples from any or all of their juices. She explained to us that the juices are only good for 3 days and must be kept refrigerated to maintain its best nutritional values. There are no preservatives, sweetners or artificial additives in their products. We had been drawn in by their special Seasonal drink..Watermelon + mint + tart cherry. After we tried that watermelon drink, Kelsey offered us their other drink samples...um, just the juices. They do offer OTHER beverages such as coffee, fruit, water, blends and refreshers. Over the past month, they've had 2 promotions in which their normally priced $7.50 juices were only $6!! Normally, at other juice places, a bottle of juice can cost up to $9! I will say that the flavors are not all that amazing. I don't like ginger, so my options are kind of limited. And they have super simple mixtures like grapefruit and mint. The staff is friendly and allows you to sample the juices, which is nice. They also offer healthy soft serve, but I wasn't a fan of that. "Pressed Juicery" is located downstairs in the new wing of Ala Moana (Sears side), just next door to a JTB office, & the new Shirokiya Japan Village Walk area. The store is small, no seating, more like a grab & go kinda place. Besides the pressed juices they sell here, they also do coffee & tea. And last of all they do "Pressed Freeze" deserts. What is a "Pressed Freeze" desert? Well, it's basically the same thing I drank in a bottle; only difference is they froze it to make it the consistency of a "yogurt type" ice cream dessert. I did not buy any Pressed Freeze desert today, but I did get to sample some today, as the nice clerk gave me a sample of the "Vanilla" - which had almonds, dates, vanilla bean, & sea salt. When I got my sample, the color was "coco colored", but when I ate it, it had a vanilla taste to it. Everything is natural, no sugar, therefore a pretty healthy treat! I may have to come back here another time to try a cup of "Pressed Freeze" desert! The staff here was pretty friendly, they took the time to explain their product to me, and even offered me to try a few of their pressed juices, & frozen treats (I sampled the - Greens 2, & Greens 4 drinks, and ate the Vanilla frozen treat). Incredible place to get your juicing on. You can choose from either a cleanse, just a juice itself or they even have açaí bowls/ice cream station where there's lots of toppings to choose from. I'm most definitely positive it's not an ice cream station but you catch my drift. It's on the healthier side; everything is as a matter of fact at pressed juicery. They always have great deals as well so feel free to ask the staff if they have any special or deals at the time being when you come in. They also do have a point system if you sign up which I highly recommend becoming a member which is also free of charge so don't be afraid to sing up. There's actually a lot more benefits for you then for them but then again ultimately you have a choice so choose wisely. Lastly atmosphere here is great, it's an awesome grab and go kind of place and I have to mention the staff member by the name of Joshua is phenomenal as well. Although I've read complaints of this location, I actually prefer it since it's so close to the parking lot and I don't have to walk through the entire mall and spend all my $$$ before getting a sweet treat. Regular price ranges from $7.50 to $10 for one bottle. Tax already included and just pay the extra for the HI 5. The 4 flavors I tried are Citrus 1 and 3, roots 1, and greens 5. Citrus juices are sour-ish fruits mixed in, I love the grapefruit flavor because it was sour. Greens juice are mixed with green veggies. Roots juice are mostly beets and ginger mix together. Though it may seem weird to mix these veggies and fruits together...and it may taste sort of funky, but it's hella healthy for yo body. I also tried the freeze bowl. I really like their vanilla almond milk--it has 13 grams of sugar but it is well worth it. The total grams of fiber in the this drink is 3g --so 10g of soluble sugar :) I really like the variety that they have to offer. They also have energy shots and frozen yogurt in their store. Just finished my first 3-day cleanse. I tried ordering online with no success. I called and they informed me that they have issues with the hawaii location not showing up, but advised me they have the product in stock. Store is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Told them I need two 3-day Cleanse 1's and within minutes it was on the counter. (I do advise if you're doing any cleanse to bring your bag/cooler. They only have paper bags, which will rip due to the condensation on the juices.) First day of my cleanse was the toughest. I had a slight headache by the end of the day and some hunger pains. But by day two is was smooth sailing. Energy was great. Cravings subsided. And day three was a breeze. I did drink a lot of water too which was great. I lost 10 lbs within 3 days. I think it's due to the amount of salt I had in my body. Overall, I would highly recommend checking this place out and try a cleanse. (If you do do a cleanse, prepare for it. It's located on the lowest mall level of Ala Moana and it's a very small storefront with no indoor seating. Service is excellent as the young girls behind the counter offer endless samples without passing judgement (lol). I ended up sampling three of the freeze flavors, which is the juice in soft-serve form! The "greens" was my favorite comprised of all this good stuff without tasting like straight up veggies: spinach, kale, romaine, cucumber, apple, lemon, dates, and coconut. I didn't care for the chocolate surprisingly because it was too nutty and not coco enough. They have size 1 (4oz) or size 2 (6oz) and you can choose 2 flavors in a cup! I got the size 1, which was plenty for $5. They also offer "unlimited" toppings for an additional $1.75, which is a very cool idea but they can only stuff so much without it all toppling over. Mind you, I had purchased the occasional juice there before for the mere purpose of instant, healthy refreshment. But this time, it's serious business. I mean serious. Like in cleanse. While I try to eat "clean" on a somewhat regular basis, I fell off the wagon (and for good reason too, I mean come on we're talking Restaurant Week, amirite?) and my body is literally going through some major greens withdrawal. Sure, I ate the occasional salad or piece of fruit, but I've also been pretty lax about having my homemade green smoothies in the morning, and with the recent romaine lettuce scare I have one more good excuse to stop at Pressed Juicery! The gal who helped me (I'm sorry I think her name badge read "Nicole", but it was turned upside down and it was the end of a long afternoon of spontaneous Christmas shopping (wow I can't believe I'm stating my first-world problems right here in front of all of you, my Yelp friends, that is so not me) so please forgive me because I really do want to grant this young lady credit for her friendliness, helpfulness, and excellent customer service. She let me sample juices and even told me that I'd get to pick a free one of my choice because it's my birthday month. Then she said I could choose two free waters on top of that. Yippee! I love promos and I love them even more when a team member tells you about them. Yes, you'd think they'd all do it but really, I've been making purchases at regular price only to find that I could've had a discount after the fact, which really blows. I digress. Ok so decided to go with three bottles each of greens 2, a lively combination of kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, and lemon); and greens 3 (the very same combination with a kick of ginger). My birthday bonus of choice (you can pick from any of their juices/drinks) was from the Specialty Blends selections: turmeric almond, a deliciously satisfying blend of turmeric, almonds, dates, vanilla, turmeric, cinnamon, sea salt, and black pepper (yes, really!), evocative of the widely popular golden milk. Additionally, "Nicole" told me to select two complimentary waters. I decided to go with the aloe H2O and the chlorophyll H20. I'd tell you how the latter is but I'm right in the middle of my cleanse day as I compose this review and haven't had the chance to try it yet. It is purported to possess a very light and subtle "green tea" taste and is recommended for boosted hydration, or as pre- or post-workout hydration to help feel energized (hmm, maybe I'll save this one for tomorrow during marathon training). The aloe water tastes just like regular water but claims to help get the digestive system back on track, which is exactly what I want right now. On my next visit, I think I'll try the Lemon Cayenne H2O, recommended as a detoxifier after overindulging. Oh wait, I should've gotten that one this time! Last, but not least, the store was running a gift card promo -- buy a $30 gift card and get a free juice. So I bought one. With more holiday fare just up the pike, I have a feeling I will be the lucky recipient of that gift card... probably sooner rather than later (tee hee!). If you're looking for fresh, cold-pressed refreshment, Pressed Juicery is the place to go. The bundles are reasonably priced (I calculated what it would've cost me to buy all of these fresh veggies and fruits and it ended up costing more because I try to buy only organic produce, which tends to cost a bit more), and it saves me time too. read more

Scammed and rude don't visit!I purchased 3 drinks using a online promo code on April 4 and visited the store for pick up. When I arrived we were rudely told that they could no longer honor that code. The worker at the ala moana location made us feel like terrible for redeeming the online promo code. We then were told refunds would be issued out to everyone who used the promo code. Yummy juices but stay way from the freezes. Used to be really creamy with great topping options. Now the freezes taste more like water and a chalky powder mix. Vanilla freeze is an unappetizing brown color and tastes more like carob than vanilla. Will not order any freezes again. Bummed... it used to be a fav treat. read more

This year is the second year in a row that my boyfriend have started the year with a juice cleanse. Last year I did a one day. This year we opted for the three day. Pressed Juicery is a must when choosing where to buy your juice cleanse. My boyfriend went to the store last Thursday to check their inventory, as we planned to pick- up Friday, and start our cleanse Saturday. They were low, but a female employee was helpful and optioned that we call Friday morning to pre-order, as they will be receiving shipment. With their pre-order, you pay over the phone, and a same day pick-up is required. If you don't, your drinks will go back out, and you won't get refunded. This is a fair deal as the drinks should be consumed soon. We did call in our pre-order, paid over the phone, and pick-up at night was simple, as our bags were prepped. We both went with Cleanse 2. Pressed Juicery has three pre-set cleanses. The first is geared for first-timers, as the calorie intake is highest. Cleanse 2 is for those who've done a cleanse. Lets just say Cleanse 3 is for the advanced. Cleanse 2 is good. Each cleanse has six drinks/day. Order is Greens, Citrus, Greens, Roots, Citrus, and Vanilla Almond Milk. Currently on our last day, we feel accomplished. Juice cleanses aren't always easy, but to overcome the cravings for food during the process is a great feeling. I usually find my visits enjoyable but today wasn't it. Went to the store about 40 minutes before closing to hopefully get a freeze or smoothie bowl. However, a worker told me that they didn't have either or available rn but will be in stock tomorrow morning. I understand that workers like to leave either on time or early, but I didn't appreciate the slight attitude I was getting. Won't be coming back, that's for sure. This is the 2nd time I'm doing a juice cleanse with Pressed Juicery and I must say that the results is better than the first. My bf and I signed up to get the 3 day cleanse (#2) for the $30/day special that's going on. I noticed that they were low on inventory Thursday so we decided to preorder Friday for pickup later that night. On Thursday, the person over the phone said we could preorder the next day. But on Friday, we called in to preorder and the guy said we can't. So we waited a few hours to try again and someone new on the phone took our order and we prepaid for it. All that hassle Cleanse 2 is pretty good because it is the most common cleanse. The cleanse consist of 2 greens, 2 citrus, 1 root, & 1 milk. The best was the vanilla milk because there's dates in it and taste like a dessert. The one I didn't like is the beet root because it is too strong for me. Aside from that, the cleanse is working and emptying me out. I can't wait to eat solid food but i weighed myself and lost 7lbs in two days. It must be major water weight. read more

To be honest, I don't really like this place much, but my husband does. I guess, I expected it to be more like Banàn. On my first visit here, the staff was super cool and nice. They explained their menu and even offered a free sample, which I'm glad I tried before ordering. I tried the strawberry and found it to be chalky tasting and the texture was a bit grainy for me. My husband, on the other hand, tried a different flavor (can't remember which one) and proceeded to order a s'mores cup. Upon ordering, the staff offered to sign us up for a reward program. At first, I declined it, but then they said, we'd get another cup for free if we sign up. We asked our daughter, who initially passed on ordering anything, if she wanted the free cup and so, she decided to try out the AB & J (almond butter and jelly). When I asked her if she liked it, she said it was "aight." Then, midway through eating, switched cups with my husband after trying a spoonful of his cup. Overall, I wasn't impressed with two of what the staff recommended as their most popular flavors. However, my husband enjoyed it and for my daughter, it wasn't bad, so three stars it is! read more

This place is my current obsession. OBSESSED. I can't get enough juice! I've been doing the one and two day juice cleanses once a week for a few weeks now and I feel fantastic. There are three levels of cleanses for beginners, advanced, then the hardcore cleansers! Basically the more hardcore the cleanse, less calories. For a day cleanse, it's about fifty bucks- 6 bottles of delish cold pressed juice that you drink throughout the day, along with plenty of water- and you don't eat food. It's tough the first time, but you learn discipline! You can opt to purchase two additional "designer" waters- one green chlorophyll water and one aloe water you drink right before bed. I always get them because they make me feel like my skins glows with moisture and radiance (I don't know if it really does, but the placebo effect is a thing, you guys). The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable, they open early, there's plenty of parking, nice central location, and the juice is super good for your health.
