Came from out of town, about 2 hours of driving, to visit the game stores in the area. We found a…read moreconsole we were looking for and bought it. Before leaving the area we tested the system and found it worked maybe 10% of the time. We called to ask about the refund policy, which they mentioned only worked for defective products. When we got there he tested it and of course when he plugged it in he got it to work first try. We didn't want to run the chance of getting home and getting stuck with a system that just wouldn't work so we asked again if we could still get a refund. Of course we were denied. We got home later that day and it hasn't worked since. It's been about 4 days of constant tests and trial and errors but it just won't cooperate. Only choice we have now to get maybe half our money back is to sell it for parts. Minus the extra things we bought in an attempt to get it working of course. Waste of 4 hours of driving and $200 + dollars. We don't live across country by any means but where we're from it isn't as big of a hassle to return something. It wasn't like we were trying to scam anybody or being bratty. But that's how they made us sound when we were trying to tell them what was going on. Now we're just frustrated and that we made the purchase but there's no help for it. Not coming back.

So we came in. She tried to explain it again. The price they pay is 20% lower than PPG. Worker hasn't ever done it before and she's been there since March. Waited for about 30 minutes or longer. Side note, another customer came in and she couldn't answer his questions because she "wasn't an Xbox person". Who cares? You work in a video game store. You need to know everything. I finally ask if I should come back a different day because she's just sitting there. She says she texted her coworkers and they aren't replying. She finally got the genius idea to call them. And they answered! If she would've called before we waited for over a half hour, we wouldn't have had to wait. So anyways. Two of my pops were damaged in the process of this wonderful woman handling them. My husband actually had asked her to stop doing it but she kept going for another minute? That's nice. Considering she didn't buy them before messing with them. She offered me $33 in store credit or $19 cash. HA. Laughable. GameStop would pay more lol. So I gather my pops and such but, she had two hidden behind her computer. I had to tell her to give them to me. Not sure if it was accidental or intentional at this point. I don't care that you offered me $19 for 5 pops and 4 dorbz. 2 of them being 2018 exclusives. I'm annoyed I was lied to, made to wait over said lie, and my pops were damaged. When there are a group of college guys, two kids, and their parents there, it gets stuffy. I've walked in and immediately out several times for this reason. Parking is plenty as it's in a plaza. They also give discounts to the college students with ID. I like that they are more than a gaming store, they can also fix broken iPhone screens. They also hold gaming tournaments on the weekend.
