They were incredible. I biked over for the first time with my younger brother, and we entered in and they greeted us, and we looked around for a bit. They have tons of games for basically every console you can think of, and it's all really well priced, with some of the newer games being super low priced, even for being used. We talked to the staff for a little bit, and they were super friendly, and really fun to talk to. If I could, I would give this place 6/5 stars. Highly reccomend. read more

This place is is akihabara in Japan level cool. Great staff and selection. This place is 100% worth checking out if you are into gaming, especially for retro and cool rare stuff. Game Trade always has a huge selection of games for every console and reasonable prices. I'm often searching for low print run obscure titles on the Xbox consoles and Game Trade almost always has something worth picking up. This place is A GOLD MINE, if you like great games, competitive pricing, and a knowledgeable staff. I've been shopping here for literally 6 years for myself. I've found things like an original Xbox and halo. Was able to talk to the manager and he held it for me so I could get it purchased and shipped out to me in a different state. The staff here is outstanding. They know their stuff about what the most obscure game might be. I recommend this place 20x out of 10. read more

This place has been my favorite to go to for video games since I first went 4 years ago. The people here are amazing. I've never gone to a store before and said to myself please take my money. They are the most helpful and caring people I've ever met when it comes to gaming and giving people great experiences. You could ask them any question and they will know it. In the off chance they don't they will direct you to the best places that would know. I've never ever had a bad experience here and have recommended it to everyone I know that plays video games. I've even brought my dad there and he said it was like walking into a bank of memories with all the old games they have as well. I'll never ever go somewhere else for older games. read more

Game Trade is not a place where one simply goes to Trade Games. It is a location for gaming enthusiasts to be surrounded by employees who are GENUINELY great and caring people. Along with wall to wall shelves decked out with some of the most impressive collections in this area. My only grievance is that I did not learn of such a promised land until years into living in the area. Please, in all seriousness, give this place a look. Take your friends! It's such a great environment with great games at what I believe are great prices! Plus make sure to sign up for their amazing rewards program. A phone number later and you're ready to save some bonus dollars. When I went in I felt nervous that I may not be knowledgeable enough to determine if these are fairly priced or what games are rare. The employees make it their mission to help you be informed and even though I feel awkward asking so many questions they are always happy to answer! Great team! Great place! Great games! Good but could be better. PROS: + Employees are knowledgeable and friendly + Great selection of games with some pretty obscure/rare titles! + Many retro titles complete in box no less! + They sell art scrolls for better prices than I've ever found online + Always willing to buff a disc or clean a cartridge at checkout + New rewards system, $5 off for every $100 spent. A nice novelty! CONS: - PRICES: This is a big one for me. You will not find any deals on most games here from my experience. Only matches ebay prices or far exceed in many cases. A used copy of The World Ends With You for Nintendo DS is not worth $55, it's just not. Don't artificially inflate the price of Pokemon Red and Blue to $40 just because you got Pokemon GO nuts running rampant. Those games sold over 50 million copies, they are not rare by any stretch of the imagination. Or selling a used copy of Sonic Generations for $20 when brand new sealed copies on Amazon are going for $11. It's a bad sign when I'm in your store and have to check competitive prices on my phone for every item I'm interested in before checking anything out. And well yeah. That's my only con but it's a big one for me. Don Father Games (Formerly GB Games) has much better prices and always undercuts Ebay prices so I don't see being brick and mortar as any excuse for inflated prices. If it wasn't for that though this would be one of my main retro stores to shop at! Like I said, there are certainly reasons to shop here nonetheless if you like good customer service. read more

Friendly staff, wide variety of games. Huge collection of limited run games and there's always surprises to be found on the walls and in the cases. Prices are more than fair and they resurface/clean discs so that you don't have to worry about scratches. read more

I love that Game Trade almost always has what I'm looking for, even the games that are rare and hard to find. If, by chance, they don't have a game I'm looking for, they will personally call you when it comes in. And it WILL come in. Stopped in to get a memory card and N64 controller. The have a good selection games to pick from. A tad pricey but not having to wait for stuff to be mailed to me when I need it was worth the price. The staff was funny and knowledgeable which was a big plus as well. I will be back again when I need to get some more games. read more

This is the best retro game store in the area, hands down. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and his passion for all things video games is obvious. The store has a great selection of all sorts of obscure systems and games, and new rare stuff comes in regularly. If you are interested in something, the owner won't hesitate to tell you about any potential problems with it (it's missing the manual, or it has damage from a rental sticker, etc.).
