Have never had any issues with anything pre-owned I've purchased, but if I did, the store has a solid return policy anyways. Their trade-ins aren't always the best, but with a business as big as they are, I can't even begin to imagine what sort of used inventory they deal with at a corporate wide level. So just be smart about what you trade and you'll be fine! Would highly recommend this GameStop!

Prices are very on point, defiantly no price gouging going around in this store. Staff is very knowledgeable. If they are not sure about a question you have they do not hesitate to look up the answer to your question. I do not live close to the store but as a game collector myself I always make the effort to visit this store when I am in the area.

I was in Appleton from California, with some shopping instructions from my teenage son, and they took me around, allowed me to FaceTime items from the cases and ultimately I left with a suite Nintendo 64 with vintage game and other collectible Pre loves goodies that are hard to find where we live. One game (Pokemon Snap?) wasn't even yet on the shelves, but one of the gentlemen overheard me tell the other what my son was looking for, and grabbed it out of the incoming pile All in all the gents there made my visit a fast, pleasant and productive experience!

Came from out of town, about 2 hours of driving, to visit the game stores in the area. We found a…read moreconsole we were looking for and bought it. Before leaving the area we tested the system and found it worked maybe 10% of the time. We called to ask about the refund policy, which they mentioned only worked for defective products. When we got there he tested it and of course when he plugged it in he got it to work first try. We didn't want to run the chance of getting home and getting stuck with a system that just wouldn't work so we asked again if we could still get a refund. Of course we were denied. We got home later that day and it hasn't worked since. It's been about 4 days of constant tests and trial and errors but it just won't cooperate. Only choice we have now to get maybe half our money back is to sell it for parts. Minus the extra things we bought in an attempt to get it working of course. Waste of 4 hours of driving and $200 + dollars. We don't live across country by any means but where we're from it isn't as big of a hassle to return something. It wasn't like we were trying to scam anybody or being bratty. But that's how they made us sound when we were trying to tell them what was going on. Now we're just frustrated and that we made the purchase but there's no help for it. Not coming back.

Staff is always nice and helpful. Generally reasonable pricing for all of the items. I love coming into this store and it's been around since I was a kid. A true downtown small business gem.
