The flowers are fresh and fragrant; the arrangement is spectacular with favorites (yellow and white roses, sunflowers, white lilies, "Antique" carnations) and some that I don't recognize, which makes it so unique. (I personally avoid the standard FTD designs, when I know that I am working with a talented designer, and prefer them to have the freedom to choose the freshest flowers, and use their own talent and creativity.) I know flowers are important but he had an extra bit of zeal in him to make this delivery on time. To driver of delivery van 4- you either have a dangerously heavy right foot, care more about flowers than your average bear or are a strong believer that 10 min early is on time. I called your company number and let them know what you were up to but the guy who answered didn't seem to think it was too big of a deal. Either way, I hope you don't hurt anyone in the future over a flower delivery.

My mom purchased me flowers for my birthday. The first photo is what she ordered and the 2nd was what arrived. Though they are pretty there is a price difference between carnations and spider mums. The same with the white wax flowers. It was obvious they filled the vase up with cheaper flowers and kept the price the same... this is wrong. My mom felt frustrated because flowers are expensive. When she called she was advised they are a "mom and pop shop" and " that's just what they had on hand." And "Covid" If you are a mom and pop shop then your word and ethics are what will keep you open. If you ran out of that product then call the person purchasing. Take the photo down if you don't have it, and put a big disclaimer that you may not even have those flowers. Your substitution policy should be based on cost... not just substituting in cheaper product we can purchase at Kroger. It's Christmas time and the purchaser will most likely never see what they purchased... don't take advantage of that. if I ever purchase flowers in the future, it will not be from here. Hopefully your shop can be honest in the future for someone else.

**update at end** I fell in love with a certain flower arrangement of AMAAW when I went to a…read moretasting event for Ashton Gardens in May of 2016. I loved it immediately and contacted John that night, with attachments of photos of the arrangement, to put a deposit down to book with him. The arrangement that I loved was $265 each + delivery & taxes. I couldn't afford to put them on all 10 guest tables + our sweetheart table. Some of our tables were going to be long, so Brian P. and I went to his studio to go over more options. For the long tables, we were told we could rent a huge branch (We were shown it, it was very long.) A large arrangement would be placed in the center and other flowers would be scattered throughout the twigs on the ends of the branch. I even asked John how we'd separate the rented branch from the florals in the middle because I didn't want it to be damaged after the ceremony. From the photos, you can see that is not what was delivered. It was much smaller overall and there are no flowers extending out to the tips of the small manzanita branch. We ordered 4 of these. We were trying to keep our flowers under $2,000 which we came in right around. We asked if maybe the tall centerpieces could be made smaller because we had 6 more guest tables to outfit. John said he could, but didn't want to. We said, okay, instead of making them smaller, let's keep the original size and $265 price and we'll order 4 of those as well. We told him we'd skip all of the corsages, my bouquet and all but one boutonniere to stay within our budget. As you can see from the original arrangement from the event, and what was delivered (we chose the gold vase) the flower arrangement is considerably less full. If the original looks substantial on a thick vase and what I received looks chintsy on a thin vase, clearly they aren't the same. During our walk through, our coordinator asked John if he could use two of our tall centerpieces during our ceremony as altar arrangements. John said no, because he likes the reception hall to be finished prior to the ceremony starting. Frankly, I feel that he just wanted us to purchase more arrangements. Flowers are in a loomy dish which just sits atop a vase so that flowers can easily be transported and then popped onto whatever pedestal you want. They would have easily been able to be placed on the pedestals during our ceremony and quickly moved back to the reception. We had a formal receiving line outside after our ceremony so there was time to move flowers and the doors to our reception space could easily have stayed closed until he moved the flowers. I've seen this done at other weddings as it saves money and is less wasteful. My phone background and lock screens have been this flower arrangement from different angles for the past 4 months. I know what my arrangments were supposed to look like. I'm disappointed that what we ordered, while pretty, were smaller than what we had agreed upon and paid for. For around $2,000 we received 8 centerpieces, a $7 boutonniere that consisted of a single ranunculus stem and a "free" (with coupon from Wedding Wire) toss bouquet. **After contacting John via email, he admitted that florals were incorrect size and suggested a refund of a small portion of bill.**

Also had you mentioned that you truly had a family emergency, then I would have completely understood. When you messaged you were, "too busy" that comes off bad for ANY prospective customer anywhere. Hopefully this is a learning experience for you to keep customers! Other bad reviews also reference, "bad customer service". I'm not the first one to not recommend.
