Maybe I'm out of touch after moving from Orange County to Dallas, but at $237 including delivery, this arrangement missed the mark on value. The flowers themselves are lovely and nicely arranged, but I paid extra expecting a substantially larger display. What arrived looked more like a standard arrangement than a premium one. You can see the paper towels next to the flowers for scale. At this price point, the scale simply didn't match expectations. I thought Dallas was supposed to be cheaper than California? In Orange County, for $200 I'd have a HUGE arrangement of flowers. read more

I felt like I should leave a review to warn people about this place because I depend on reviews when finding services for myself. A friend of mine sent flowers from this place and they arrived looking old and wilted. I was on a call in another room when they arrived so picked them up about 4-5 minutes after they were delivered. The woman went on and on trying to convince me that she showed I had called them nine minutes after the flowers had been delivered. I explained to her that that was including the time it took me to bring them in take a picture, look at the card, etc, but it didn't matter - she was just absolutely convinced that the imaginary nine minutes in the sun caused all the problems. Ridiculous. (Even if they had been sitting nine minutes, which they were not, the porch is covered.) Anyway, she offered to bring a new delivery (not in a very nice way) and I accepted because I knew I needed to send a picture to my friend. If I had ordered them myself, I wouldn't have even bothered. The new delivery was slightly fresher, but it is now two days later and they are looking sad and tired, and I will probably need to toss them in the next day or two. (I already tossed a few stems tonight). I have AC on the entire time in my house. It is not the weather; it is just the quality of the product. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I certainly won't be ordering flowers from them. read more

The ladies of PCP did our wedding flowers and they were unbelievably gorgeous! Not only that, but Sarah was such a dream to work with. I was not a great wedding planner, and the minor details made my head spin. Sarah and I sat down together one day and talked about what types of flowers I liked, what would be available for the fall and flipped though a few pins to get a more visual idea going. They nailed it! They were able to get their hands on all my favorites and created a very classy, slightly bohemian feel for our ceremony and reception. Sarah and Park Cities Petals is amazing. I ordered flowers for my Daughter when she lost her beloved fur baby. I called from California in a panic to do something nice and Sarah was great at figuring out an appropriate floral option. I made the mistake of giving a previous address for delivery and called while flowers were in van with delivery driver. Sarah conveyed new address to the driver and the flowers arrived. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with unit number and rental office wouldn't give the driver access and promised to give directly to my Daughter that evening and did not. I found Park Cities Petals on Yelp and I could not be happier with my choice. One of our co-workers in Los Angeles also lives in Dallas and his daughter was getting married at their home there. Their website is very helpful in seeing the styles of their arrangements along with sizes and prices. I spoke with Maggie who was very knowledgable and she helped me place the order. We discussed having an arrangement for a wedding, but it not being all white, and possibly having a succulent in it, which would add additional color. Not only did the arrangment arrive on time as promised, but apparently it was so beautiful that the Bride used it as her bouquet!!!! I found this business on Yelp and was impressed with the constant positive reviews. Sara was very friendly and helpful from the start. I have a very busy schedule, so online ordering for me is very convenient; although, I believe strongly believe in supporting local businesses. I told Sara what I was looking for- occasion, flowers, budget, timeline (next day delivery) and relationship to recipient. I even gave her an additional amount of money if she needed it for anything. She asked me the recipient preferred style - traditional, transitional or contemporary. I assume this was required to know how to decorate the arrangement, which I found very thoughtful. I like that she was tech savvy and texted info back and forth. Again, my schedule is very busy so texting works great for me. I did ask her to text a photo of an arrangement that would be comparable in size for the money I was paying - did not receive. That's ok, but it would have been nice. I asked her if she could send a photo of the arrangement prior to delivery - I received the day after next, which is when it was delivered. The arrangement didn't deliver the next day but instead the following after, which isn't a big deal really, but I do believe in solid communication, so I do wish Sara would have told me it did not deliver the day requested. Whether there was a scheduling conflict from either party is understandable, but communication is HUGE for me. I may give them another try as friendliness was solid and they were conveniently helpful, but I would only hope communication was a bit better. read more
