I was extremely impressed with the staff and especially Dr. Eric Green. I have 3 smaller children who have had ear infections to sports induced asthma. Prior to this facility opening I had taken my children to Fresno/Clovis medical centers who didn't have bedside manner as Premium Urgent Care. I had a concern of inner ear infection of my 5 year old son. From the moment I decided that I would take my son to Premium Urgent Care, to the moment I had medication to treat my son infection. One Hour. I have had my fair share of experiences with primary care physicians and urgent care. Recalling that experience, I have no doubt that Premium Urgent Care will reshape the culture of medicine in Fresno County. That said, I am middle class single father raising 3 boys who doesn't have a lot of free time due to my full time job. All without the hassle of booking weeks out, waiting in a clinic lobby and sterlized treatment room, Dr. Eric Green and his staff of physicians are very professional and give you the small town feeling. I had situation at CVS Pharmacy where the ear drops where 65.00$ for my co-pay, the pharmacist called Dr. Green and he changed the prescription within 15 minutes to a more cost efficient prescription for my son. After a draining experience at clinica sierra vista I just had to do SOMETHING for my little girl. She had a rash that was just NOT going away. Such a long story with clinica that I won't go into but the new doctor we are with recommended that we take her here. This place is next to the allergy doctor and they share a parking lot but there is tons of room. You won't have to squeeze in somewhere or park very far. The office is clean and the girls in the front were nice. I filled out a paper and sat down to wait. They have a tv up and a few storage ottomans that have toys inside for kids to play. There is a fair amount of seating and also a bathroom close by. They DO accept medi-cal, Cal viva, blue cross, whatever you have. I waited for an hour and a half which is what I expected. I haven't been to many offices where I didn't have to wait long. When we got in we waited another 20 mins to see the doctor. Again, I didn't care, as long as I got answers. The doc came in and knew right away what she needed. He sent over a prescription and I picked it up. Bada bing bada boom! This place is great. But don't EVER go to clinica sierra vista!! read more

Terrible!!!! 0 star! Your website states: covid testing 7 days a week 7:30am-6pm. But the form isn't open until 8:30am. And your office isn't open until 9am. The phone number listed is useless...no one answers. And there's no doctor there until whenever. So how are you testing at 7:30am?!?!?! Makes no sense!! Wasted a whole day waiting for a call. Finally got a hold of them in the evening and they told me they called me. I didn't receive any calls or missed calls from them. They said they only make ONE phone call and that's it. So if they dial your number wrong and you didn't get the call, you have to repeat the process all over again. There's no way for you to verify if they call you or not. If you have a lot of patience and time to waste then this is the place for you. read more

We came here at the beginning of September because my 2 1/2 year-old granddaughter was walking around the house, and suddenly broke out into a lot of pain. She was clutching the back of her head. Kaiser was unable to see us right away, so we went here instead and they were able to diagnose her with a double ear infection and prescribed the right antibiotics. In the middle of October, on the ninth day of an upper respiratory virus, my 2 1/2 year-old granddaughter woke up again with pain behind her left ear. We were able to get into the urgent care within about 40 minutes and the nurse practitioner. Rebecca did an awesome job in diagnosing her with another ear infection, but this time only in the left ear. She prescribed her amoxicillin which was fulfilled at the Walgreens right away, and she is doing much better. If you are in need and can't see your regular medical practitioner right away, this is a good place to go to for your medical needs! read more

DON'T WALK IN ON A SATURDAY!!! What a freaking joke! Gave it one star because zero wasn't an option. Brought my husband in at 1pm on 3/10 with a pretty serious cough. The waiting room was about half full, so we knew it would be a wait with it being an urgent care. It took them an hour before calling him up for payment, BEFORE he had been seen. We were not told appointments were available, but even one gal waiting had an appointment at 2 and they were an hour behind. They blew off my husband when he asked how much longer it would be. Finally at 3pm, he asked for a refund and left. If you don't want this nonsense, go to Willow Urgent Care on Herndon/Willow. read more

I scheduled an appointment as a new patient online and still had to wait 1 1/2 hrs just to get called into the back room. Still had to wait for the doctor in the room. It's best to set the expectations up front when checking in rather than having patients wait and get frustrated. Waiting in a lobby with no communication and a bunch of sick people is not okay. Other urgent cares offer hand sanitizer and masks to protect patients while they wait. I highly suggest this place does the same thing. read more

While I recognize that there are many complicating factors that make it difficult to provide an answer, there is no need to treat your customer/patient poorly and unprofessionally. My family and I have came here many times. The medical providers and the staff have all been really kind, diligent, and prompt in their service. If you are a new patient, here are some things to consider. Visit their website and complete their online check-in forms. It will ask for your info, insurance info (if any), and the Sx you're coming in for. The mobile/QR code is not very user friendly, so I always complete it online. If you have insurance, you will need to upload pictures of the front and back as well as your ID (driver's license). If you are not tech savvy, you can request to complete a paper check-in when you walk in. They open at 9am so I always get there 30mins before and wait outside. This will give you a more prompt service, this is based on mine and my family's experiences. Be patient with the staff, they are doing their best especially during the sick season. I printed the patient forms ahead of time and filled them out before I arrived, but they didn't take long to fill out so filling them out in person would've been fine. The receptionist let me know the provider would be arriving closer to ten which I'd expected. Patients started rolling in after 9:45 so I'd suggest getting there early like I did. Around 9:55 I was called back and Emily took my vitals and got some more info about my visit. She was very thorough and friendly. The doctor was there right at 10:00 and took care of everything I needed. He was friendly as well and explained everything and answered all my questions. It was nice to have everything run so smoothly when I wasn't feeling great. I'll definitely visit this urgent care again (fingers crossed I don't have to, though). read more

Two stars because the nurses and dr we're really nice. It took 3 hours from start to finish to receive proper care. We chose to wait in the car after 1 1/2 hours my husband went in to see how much longer it would be as we'd heard nothing from them yet. Was told you guys are next just waiting on a room. They call us in to pay for the visit and sign a waiver. So we stand there where one person takes payment and then says to wait the other will have a waiver. 5 min later we're called for the waiver. "Sign this" she says . There's no place to sign so I just signed the bottom. I asked if she knew how much longer it would be. She doesn't look at me or acknowledge me but I hear "ummmm no" she was looking at the other person behind the counter I assumed she was talking to her since she barely acknowledged my existence. So I'm standing there because they never said to wait or anything I thought maybe I'd get a copy of what I was signing or there was more since they say absolutely nothing to me. And she says something I can't quite hear as again she's not loooking at me she's looking at her screen and has a mask on. not fully hearing what she said I said I'm sorry what was that? She says "you can't either wait in here or outside. But you're done right now" I said "oh do you know how much longer? I've been here for over an hour" I was met with dagger eyes from both her and the person next to her. "No.....I don't" "we'll can you look?" She pretends to look on her computer and says "no" the other lady says "you're called in the order your registered" I said "okay we'll how many people are in front of me then" to which a 3rd person chimes in "we're just waiting on rooms"... and the first lady rolls her eyes. So we go wait in the car. We're called up after 20 min. Vitals are taken and then they send us back out. Why take my vitals if you don't have a room? After 20 MORE minutes we're called back. The 2 stars is because the ladies In front seam to red an attitude adjustment. And need to remember the mask only covers their nose and mouth not their eyes. 3 hours is quite a while to wait when you get there 18 minutes after they open for one. I needed a rapid Covid test and knew it would be a challenge during the holidays. However, my experience was amazing. I completed the online form right at 7 am, had a phone call and video appointment shortly after 9 when they open, and even better was told that my insurance would cover it all; there was no out of pocket expense like I anticipated. My wait was not long here and the staff were very kind. I happened to go today on a Saturday evening when only a woman practioner was there and not Dr Green like my children & I have seen in past, and I was a bit disappointed. She was very kind but she was not as knowledgeable as I'd hoped. I obviously was pretty uncomfortable, not feeling well and just needed something more than over counter medicine so I was just thankful to be seen. But the fact that she said my tonsils weren't swollen when I don't have any and that I had to direct her to the areas swollen is what caused me to give a 3 star. Earlier this week I was treated for foot fracture . Dr. Green was very knowledgeable, diagnosed the fracture. I was told that I might need surgery and that there would be follow up by an Orthopedic office. Three days later I have not been contacted. I have called the number listed for the clinic, and have only to be able to talk to the help desk by someone named David. David has been very unhelpful! I just ask for a call back from doctor. His advice was that I go back to clinic, not convenient for someone with a foot fracture that has been told to stay off of foot. read more

Please find another urgent care. My daughter was seen about 10 days ago and treated for bronchitis. She is still not better and in fact has gotten worse. So we called yesterday to report she has not gotten better, they said she needed a covid test but could not come in. They needed to do a telehealth visit. Fine. We did that. Test was negative. So we went in since she is still ill. We waited and hour and then they told us she couldn't be seen twice in the same day. I reiterated what they meant, they couldn't bill twice, but the doctor needed to finish the visit he started on the phone and figure out what's going on. They called her back to a room. I was there with her and had called in advance and asked if I could accompany her, she is 21. They said yes. Well I was asked to leave the room before the doctor came in. I know why now. They did not check her vitals. He held the scope away from her nose and ears and said they looked fine. Mind you there is a light and microscope for a reason. They must be inserted in the crevice to examine these areas. Then he basically chastised her for coming in after the Telehealth visit and told her it was a cold and to tough it out. I'm disgusted at the disrespect and disregard for my child. Going to complain to anyone who will listen. It's sad when people are in healthcare and they don't have any care for the people that they are so lucky to be able to treat. As an RN it's an honor to care for people. I don't see one single patient that doesn't feel validated or cared for, and I will never change that. read more

I have been here 4 times before and have generally been happy with the doctor. This time I took my 16 year old for an X-rays of his ankle. I have done X-rays here before and the doctor himself did the X-rays. This morning, after thirty minutes of filling out paper work for the fifth time, I was told they didn't have an X-rays technician and had to send us out for the X-rays. Wasted an hour of my time and will not be back. Had there been a sign that X-rays where not available, I would have been back to work on time because I would have only wasted the 15 minutes at the door before they opened. Dr.Green was very caring and conscientious---- those two qualities are hard to find these days.... however, I do have a deep concern in which the Xray Dept failed to follow radiation safety guidelines--the tech initially did not place lead aprons on both me or my young child (had to hold child on lap)I had to request for BOTH of us lap apron,and although the tech kept reassuring it was fine without a thyroid collar --I had to insist one for my child. He did not have one for me, was not happy about that, although the tech was friendly person, it is important to reduce radiation exposure to a growing child . read more

I need a rapid covid test to return to work. I filled out the online form 48 hours ago and still have not heard from them for my appointment to test. I called twice yesterday and was assured that they had received my information, but still no call back! I have lost 2 days of work because I had a low grade fever on Monday and my HR department requested I get a test before returning to work. What do I have to do to get a call back?? I am now on the hunt for a new place to test, so I can maybe return to work BEFORE the 14 day incubation period is up. read more

Having multiple tests myself, and 2 prior rapid tests done for my wife and daughter at Premium Urgent Care, this review is based on our most recent experience. Registration was easy and we signed up at 930am on a Sunday expecting to get the registration call a few hours later and the ability to get the test done shortly thereafter as was our prior experience. When we had not received a call by 330pm I began calling to get updates, and made calls every 60-90 minutes since we have a 4 year old and was trying to plan around that, as well as the fact that we had been exposed to Covid and were needing to get the results, only to be told by Laura "we don't give out wait times" in a less-than-friendly manner. Since I was in the area around 6pm (and still hadn't received a call) I stopped by and got to meet Laura in person and when I received the same less-than-friendly (or professional) attitude I left to go home and continue to wait. Around 630pm we finally got a call and were able to get tested around 715pm. The gentleman that tested us started with me and stuck the swab so far in my nose that it made me bleed (not common), however was very sweet with my daughter. Once we got our results somehow there was an extra "s" added to the end of my first name (healthcare humor I'm sure) and results were posted in about an hour following the test which was as expected. Overall, having to pay for a rapid test I would think there would be a better process and more friendly attitude toward patients, and I understand the stress level everyone is likely under, however it is still a service being provided. The coincidence of having a test done that induced bleeding, as well as a "typo" on my name was enough to have my attorney friend want to look into whether this was common practice at PUC, especially given prior negative reviews. Given any further action that comes about this review may be removed, and is up for the time being for informational purposes. read more

If zero was only an option! This organization is profiting tremendously off of rapit Covid test seekers. Much of their billing practice seems fraudulent. My daughter went to seek a rapid test as her work required before she could continue work due to exposure, she was told she would be charged $120 and had to pay upfront. Instead, she was charges $281.40 which today they try to deny she paid. We have a receipt AND a billing statement from her bank that she did. She has insurance coverage in which both companies have a contract. Only an office visit was billed in the amount of $200 and there is a contractual write off. None of their charges match since if the rapid test is $120 the tele-med consult should have only been charged to the insurance $161.40 right? My daughter should not be covering a contractual write off amounts, this is not a self pay when insurance is involved and should be charged the same amount as the insurance is billed and EVEN IF the covid test "isn't covered" by the insurance as they state, it should be billed so a denial can be obtained. Do yourselves a favor and go to a legitimate and honest facility where they are not trying to capitalize on the pandemic services or fraudulently bill inflated charges. If insurance is involved with a CONTRACTED facility, the member should not be required to pay ANYTHING except charged UP TO the contractual liability as anything above is not patient responsibility!! read more

Use this clinic at your peril!! They don't rate even a single star. My son went to this clinic with an injury sustained locally and 1) they sent him on his way with virtually no direction on injury management and 2) did not respond to ANY phone calls regarding a follow up (he lives 300 miles away) and 3) would not send any of the medical files claiming the destination was not affiliated with their network. Phones calls go to an unidentifiable site--they would not say where they are only that they will provide a message to the Premium Urgent Care site. Quite certain owners of this operation off-shored their phone response team who can only send messages to the site. This seems like the place that once you buy a product from you'll never hear from again. read more

Best urgent care I've been to. Called ahead of time before taking my son in for a high fever, the receptionist I spoke to was very attentive, even remembered speaking to me when I came in. Staff seems like they were very upbeat. The Dr we saw was amazing! He actually seemed to care about our concerns & he was very great with our 1 year old, very friendly. The Dr did not try to rush us in and out like every other urgent care, he spoke to us about more than just what we were there for. We can't thank him enough for giving us great advice! read more

My whole family has been to the clovis office numerous times. I just went two weeks ago, got in and out with in an hour. The PA I saw was fabulous, I paid my $25 copay. Today my husband went in with an appointment, and was told he had to pay $97. It says directly on our insurance card urgent care $25. The office lady said no I looked it up and it said $97. He tried telling them his wife had just been in with no problems and paid the copay. They insisted he pay $97. He walked out. I called my insurance company and they said we have a $25 copay for urgent care. The office lady was very rude to my husband. Unfortunately, even bough we have had great care there before, we won't be returning because of that! read more

Will never go here again. My mom had to take my 7 month old here on a Sunday since they were the only place open. After waiting over 4 hours, he was diagnosed with an ear infection. Fast forward to this morning and I'm trying to get his prescription - the doctor wrote it for an Amoxicillin that isn't carried in town. Now Myself and the pharmacy can't get ahold of anyone at this office to have the prescription changed. Useless. read more
