Such a horrible wait time. Went with my son to check what was going on with his mouth. I had to wait over 3 1/2 hours just for them to check his blood pressure and heart. The absolute WORST experience I have ever had at an urgent care facility before. Went in to have a urine sample done on November 13, sounds simple, right? I was told I had to pay prior to receiving any services, that was just their policy. They also made me pay for the urine analysis test up front. I waited in the lobby (I was the only patient there mind you). While waiting to be taken back, the front desk receptionist told me I could walk into the lobby bathroom and pee in a cup. I was confused but walked into the bathroom anyways. There were no cups, all that was inside the bathroom was a plastic basket and no double sided metal door (like how every other urgent care/doctor's office has). Went back to the front desk and asked about the sample cups, so she handed me one, told me to write my name on it, and leave it in the basket once I was done. Well, I wasn't going to leave my urine sample in a plastic basket in a bathroom anyone would have access to - so I politely declined as I was already feeling anxious and uncomfortable, and told her I would wait until I could speak to a doctor and securely do my urine sample elsewhere. Once I was taken back into a room, a girl took my vitals/height/weight, etc and then she said the dr would be in in a few minutes. 25 minutes passed by with no one to check on me (again, I was the only patient in the office and there 2 cars out front waiting to get COVID tests). After nearly 30 minutes had passed, I opened the door and looked out into a sea of people all sitting at desks or computers, with a man in a white coat leaning over one of the computers. I called out and said that it had been nearly 30 minutes that I had been alone in a room, is the doctor going to come in and see me. The man in a white coat looked up from the computer and said he would be with me in just a second. When he came in, he was flustered and said the internet was down so he was trying to help fix it (instead of see his only patient I guess). He then asked me to repeat my symptoms and explain what was going on. Said a urine test would be the best course of action, I showed him that I had a cup, and then he walked out and left the door open. I didn't know where another bathroom was so I had to ask him and he eventually pointed me in the direction of one. Once I came out, a girl walking by in scrubs (a nurse I presume) said that she could take my sample back for me, so I gave it to her. I walked back in the room I was in and sat down. A few more minutes passed and the dr came back inside and said he could offer me antibiotics to cover the bases of what it could be, and then offered to do an exam of my lower regions if I wanted it. I declined. He basically said that we were done, and I walked out. No one ever called to tell me my results. I was so uncomfortable with this whole situation from basically the moment I walked in. The staff was unhelpful and sounded very unsure every time they said something. Flash forward to nearly a month later, I check my insurance claim EOB and it says my responsibility for payment was only $118 (I've never paid a copay at an urgent care before) but was charged $149 on that day. When I called to get more information I was referred to the billing department saying that the insurance hadn't paid yet and once they did they would issue me a refund (yeah, right). A different number called me right after I called today to explain my results and said it wasn't cultured and they simply did a dipstick test and the dr should have gone over the results with me that day. I explained that he didn't and I left with essentially nothing being accomplished and she said that "I refused medication and a lower exam" (as if that somehow matters? Why would I let someone who I felt uncomfortable with inspect my body at all or prescribe me medications that may not have been medically necessary?) and I explained to her what happened that day, and how I had to open the door and call out for someone and he was leaning over a computer. She explained to me that he wasn't at a computer, he was helping do telehealth with covid exams. I said he most definitely was at a computer, I waited nearly 30 minutes before I had to ask someone to come in and help me. And she said "okay well have a good one, bye" and hung up. SAVE YOUR MONEY and don't ever go here. Maybe they are only focusing on COVID tests at the moment, but other than that this urgent care was a complete waste of my time and money. read more

Waited over 45 min with an appointment finally went up and she kinda laughed and said I didn't even know you were waiting. Funny I signed in and was the ONLY person sitting in the waiting room for awhile before other people started to come in and they signed in AFTER me. Don't waste your time. read more

Staff had a typical "don't give two shits about you" attitude. Doctor Green also rushed through my exam and even forgot to send a MAIN prescription to my pharmacy and when I tried calling the office to tell them the receptionist kept interrupting me. RUDE. Doctor couldn't even figure out if I had a fever or not. He asked me if I had one and I said "I don't know" BECAUSE HOW WOULD I KNOW??? I'm hot kinda but that's not my job to determine. I asked a nurse a question and she was like "I don't know I just do what they tell me". Like are you guys SERIOUS. I pray to the Lord the prescription they gave me even helps. read more

I'm am so excited to have found this Urgent Care and the staff. Jessie, the assistant, was kind and very considerate of my needs and time. Dr. Minton is a diamond in the ruff. We moved only 4 months ago and finding an urgent care that we can count on is vital. This facility is clean and orderly, I felt like I was treated with respect from the moment I checked in too. My mom came in with extreme pain due to a dislocated shoulder and was told they could treat it and to wait. After 45 minutes we see the doctor and he tells us they can't treat it there, and we should have been sent directly to the ER. The front office staff completely misled us and charged us for a visit. read more

Premium Urgent Care is great. The wait time wasn't long at all. I was able to get a COVID test while they took my vitals so they could rule that out. All of the staff very nice. The P.A. 23 weeks pregnant and fighting a sinus infection / being congested for almost a week now i set up a apt online for 6:00 never once did the confirmation email say bring my id even when I called to double check if they accepted my insurance they never said bring my is just insurance card. I get there fill out everything and am not allowed to be seen Because I forgot my wallet in my car (my boyfriend drove me) instead i was standing there trying to find it in my email from sending it to my employer and when i didn't i got told "well we close in a hour" which i still wouldn't make it because I live across town and not near the Clovis location. So now I'm miserable from pregnancy pain and my sickness. Definitely would never recommend these people ! No sense of caring at all read more

I used PUC for COVID testing before, which was easy to use, so I tried them out for Urgent Care purposes. The front desk was fast and friendly. The provider talked threw all of my symptoms and possible diagnoses. We talked over what I wanted and what I thought was the best for me. It was nice to have a conversation about my health and reaching a resolution TOGETHER. I'll be coming here more often read more

We scheduled appts online for rapid COVID tests as my husband was symptomatic. We called a few hrs after registering and were told to come in anytime. We got there and were told that info was incorrect and they were supposed to call us to give us an appt time. They pushed our paperwork and after 30 min we were good to go. This is not just a COVID test, but test + exam so be prepared $$$$$. Within 20 mins we had negative test results and we'll be going on vacation tomorrow as planned. Staff was nice, but this place was not clean. No hand sanitizer in the lobby or exam room, and used paper towels were sitting on the countertop in the lobby. Had there been another place available to get a rapid test, we would have left. And if staff reads this, please correct the spelling error in your automated text. The only reason I go to this office is because of Dr. Ryan. I have been suffering from periodic abdominal pain and went to multiple doctors and no one took time to figure out what's wrong with me. I met Dr. Ryan here and he found out I have IBS and helped me feel better. I would not see any other doctor besides him EVER again. read more

We made an appointment online for my dad to receive his covid vaccine. The front desk was patient as I helped translate some things to my dad. He was nervous and on the fence about receiving his shot so I asked to speak to their in house doctor. Dr. Ryan had incredible bedside manners. He made us feel comfortable and confident about getting the shot, I will be forever grateful that he made my dad feel that way! He is truly a great doctor I can only recommend! read more

Saw me pretty fast but it's been over a week and I still have not been given my urine results after calling them and asking many times.

This place is as shady as it gets! Our insurance has dropped them due to them being scetchy. They claim insurance doesn't cover rapid testing yet our insurance states that is not true. They prey on those that were under duress for quick results. A few weeks ago it cost $120 to b tested now they charge $230 they r horrible for taking advantage of the COVID situation. Without a local Dr., (new resident) I put off taking care of a 3+ week old injury. The pain had gotten to be too much. I was greeted by a friendly staff member, explained my dilemma. No problems. Filled out my paperwork, and before long, I was taken in, received X-rays, new stylish foot ware, and follow up information. I left feeling better and smiling. On February 25th 2022, I had a laceration on my leg from a snowboard accident. I called ahead on my way down the mountain to check and see if they accepted my insurance and if they were able to do stitches, they said yes to both and come on in. Upon arrival I filled out the required paperwork and sat in the waiting area. After 45 minutes of waiting my name was called, I went to the front desk only to be told by the receptionist and one of the nurses that the doctor who accepted my insurance had left and there was no one available to treat my injury, keep in mind I was actively bleeding and I made sure they they knew that. After being refused treatment at premium urgent care I ended up at Clovis ER and was treated there. read more

My husband went in at 10:30a to get co vid testing which they charge $150 and you have to pay instead of billing insurance. I had my insurance call over 5 times and no answer to let them know to send them the bill. My husband said there's 4 people at the front and letting phones ring. They called my husband at 5 pm just to tell them our insurance doesn't cover the test. They wasted 7 hours of his day when they should be calling or answering the phone. They need training on customer service and verifying insurance coverage. read more

Go somewhere else, terrible terrible front desk staff l understand their job is tiring however if you are that miserable maybe it would be best if you quit. Upon checking in no instructions were given I was just stared at and was not given a wait time or any information. After waiting over three hours I asked how many people were ahead of me and they could not even give me that answer. Everyone was talking in the lobby about how extremely rude and short the staff was with everyone. Do better. I've been a patient at Premium Urgent Care in Clovis three times and each time found the staff friendly and welcoming. They perfectly fit that niche where you're not in bad enough shape for an emergency room visit but you need help today. The first time I went in without an appointment at the beginning of flu season and had a bit of a wait. But I was seen and not rushed through the appointment. I made same-day appointments online the second two visits and it was very easy to do. That cut my wait time dramatically. Dr. Green is excellent. The entire staff is, really. The nurses are great (I saw Kristie on two of the visits) and the reception staff does a very efficient job of getting you checked in properly. I highly recommend PUC Clovis. read more

Completely incompetent. The front office, the physician, and the back office. I've never been to an office so clueless. The front office couldn't seem to check us in their system even though we were the only people in the waiting room. They had to call a mobile x-ray company - totally hokey. The doctor talked more about himself than anything. He gave my wife advice that was completely contradicted by a specialistic she saw two weeks later when the pain and swelling hadn't gone away. The specialist told her she likely did more damage by following his advice. And finally, to add insult to literal injury, the back office somehow billed the insurance incorrectly (perhaps wrong code but they couldn't tell me for sure). When I called they said they had it worked out and would resubmit. A year later, long after I thought it was settled, I saw it had been referred to collections. I called the collections company, paid the balance, and unfortunately Premium Care got what they wanted; my whopping $170. I recommend everyone steer clear of this unprofessional, and possibly even shady, facility. read more

Best urgent care I have ever been to. They are speedy, nice, and clean. Front desk girls were very nice over the phone which prompted me to want to come to this office. When I arrived I already had the paperwork filled out because I printed it online. They told me I was 2nd in line and they will call me shortly. I have only been here once, so far. It was a few months ago, but the experience was decent. I didn't know their hours and got there pretty early. I waited outside for a while in my car before the 'first' person got in line at the door. A small line formed outside right before they opened. Once inside, I was able to get started on my paperwork. The wait wasn't terrible, but it wasn't quick. I was eventually seen by a med student, first. She was very nice and thankfully she got some counsel from the doctor before anything was decided. I received an antibiotic and got on my way. By the time I left, there was only one other person in the waiting room. I'll definitely give this place another try, if need be, in the future. read more

Very nice people, and you can just walk in without having to make an appointment. I called 10 different doctors and all of them said they were booked the whole day, then a co worker mentioned this place to me and got me an appointment in less than 5 minutes. They had a new girl at the front who took awhile to process my insurance/information since I was a new patient but once the front desk girl helped her out, everything was smooth sailing from there!
