Very Disappointing -- Would Not Recommend…read more We had a 3:45 appointment and were called while en route asking us to move it to 4:00. When we arrived, the door was locked, there were no other patients, and we still waited another 30 minutes before being taken into a dirty exam room. We only saw a nurse practitioner who offered two options: medication or laser treatment. She couldn't provide the proper name of the medication and couldn't answer our questions about the laser, other than telling us it wasn't covered by insurance. This was particularly frustrating since insurance coverage was what their advertising led us to expect. We were told another employee would come in to explain the laser treatment, but after waiting and no one coming, we left. This employee was talking with the front desk staff and only offered to help when he saw us walking out. He then beat us to the parking lot to take what appeared to be a personal call. The entire experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and more focused on getting us in the door than actually providing care. We will not be returning.

There is no direct number to only this office, you have to call another number and then tell them you need to be transfered. The office staff often seems baffled by requests and it often feels like what should be a reasonable question or need is refused or messed up. It's taken MONTHS to get seen by the same attending more than once and they always seem upset when you can't remember your attending when all you've seen is a different resident every time. Ultimately, I feel like the office staff is going to have to have some training on how to actually listen to patient's concerns because I don't go here because of the great service, I go because I need to. Off topic, but important, there is no client/patient wi-fi and there is no service, so if you need to show your Dr an image or a test and it's online, you need to have that page loaded before you go into the building. Ultimately, if anyone else from DKACC reads this I need to impress this upon you, please make sure that patient requests are met or denied as soon as possible, I shouldn't come in with a specific issue and then have to wait 5 days for results while it gets worse.

(The TLDR: The operation feels like a nightmare. You are required to arrive early, which is typical…read morebut necessary here, as it takes forever to find parking, yet you still end up waiting 30-45 minutes to see the doctor after check-in. He sees you for ten minutes and then scurries off. Plan on spending upwards of an hour there in total, while only seeing a doctor for a fraction of that time. My personal opinion is between the packed parking and the overbooked appointments, the experience felt less like visiting top notch heart care specialists and more like being processed in a chop shop.) I started coming to this clinic when Dr. Woodbury transferred here I think 2024. Following his recommendation, I underwent heart surgery to fix my AFib, but the condition returned almost immediately. I felt terrible and generally worn down. After further testing, I was told we would have to repeat the surgery (mind you, they are billing insurance companies upwards of $500,000 for this), and it is really taxing on the body. I couldn't afford to miss that much work again, we pushed the surgery to later in the year. Shortly after I lost my high paying job that's hard to replace here in the CV. So when I returned to the doctor to reschedule the procedure, I asked for a letter to help me qualify for disability, which would have helped cover the COBRA costs that were eating me alive. I was denied with smile, and subsequently, I lost my insurance. I've since switched to the state's free healthcare, and frankly, there has been no difference in quality. I still feel terrible, but at least I'm not paying an arm and a leg for it, and I don't have to fight for parking. Now the clinic calls me because they claim I still owe them about a thousand dollars; I just laugh. My credit is already shot to hell, so they can get in the back of the line like everyone else. My take away is the doctors don't actually spend any time with you on these decisions, I'm sure you're patient #234,562 to them, but this a major heart related issue to you that affects your life, job, family. He'll glance at your charts for 10 minutes, seemingly make a snap decision and off to the next cattle to be inspected and processed. And that's it. I don't expect white glove treatment, but I do expect to be treated better than a customer ordering a #2 combo from a McDonald's drive through. Anyway, your mileage may vary from my experience.

Apparantly they'll send someone out because the person who was taking the test isn't there at the time. Waited until 15 mins, by now it's 1:45 and I had called the call center again. TLDR: Dr Kerr and the staff at this urgent care are 10/10 fantastic, they are amazing!!!!…read more Firstly, I was shocked to find an urgent care that had such a high rating. Most medical facilities struggle to keep good reviews because lack of staffing cause long wait times and quick interactions. Secondly, I was shocked that the urgent care wasn't extremely busy and that I was brought into the back within 15 minutes of my arrival. Thirdly, I was so so IMPRESSED with how kind, and just happy my doctor was. I don't meet too many doctors who really strike a cord with me, but DR.KERR was genuinely just such a nice doctor. I was seen for a kidney infection, I knew the symptoms, had experienced them a year before, after a quick urine test he agreed. He said he'd prescribe a tablet to take once a day for 10 days, if I experienced fever to go to the ER. I asked if he knew how fast the CVS right next door would possibly fill that prescription (dumb question-that isn't something most doctors are really going to know, but I have word vomit sometimes) and he said it could take anywhere from an hour to longer. He asked if I ever used them before and I said no. He then said he wanted to give me an antibiotic shot that would at least cover me for 24 hours in case they didn't get the prescription filled that night, which was AMAZING. He didn't have to do that at all. I am so thankful that he did, though. CVS didn't get the prescription filled until late. I went to bed in a lot of pain due to the kidney infection, but that shot did it's job and by this morning I am as good as new!!!!! I'm still going to grab my prescription after work today, because following the treatment plan all the way through is how it gets fixed and doesn't just flare back up in a couple days, but I cannot express how fantastic Dr. Kerr and really ALL of the staff was.

We are new to the area, have scheduled doctors appointments with a family doctor and a GYN next…read moremonth to establish care. So being without a GP or GYN I came to this location because I feel like I have a kidney infection. The lack of any kind of attempt at human connection in this office is astounding. There's no one to help you with check-in, you're immediately pointed to a QR code where you fill out all of the paperwork yourself. Once the receptionist has that, she points you to a machine IN THE WAITING ROOM to get your vitals. Everything from weight and temperature to blood pressure and oxygen numbers is done by one of those machines you generally see at Walmart that you sit and put your arm in. WTF? That machine prints out a paper that you give to the receptionist. Because I was there thinking I have a kidney infection, she handed me a urine specimen cup, and told me to go into the bathroom, again, in the waiting room. A basket in the waiting room for the collection of your investments already had someone else's specimen in it. With their information on it. I'm sorry but HIPAA who? I then sat back down until called back to go to a room. A nurse didn't come in the room to talk to me or anything. I sent to room 3 to wait. I sat in my room for half an hour, listening to the full exam of a kid in the room next to me because the walls are really thin, before a doctor come in to tell me that because I drink a lot of water, my urine was clear... dilute ... and that it could be an ovarian cyst or even appendicitis, she doesn't know what's causing the pain in my lower back, that I should go to the emergency room to get imagining done and they could tell me what's causing the pain in my back around my kidneys and the malaise. So not only did I just pay my co-pay, but I was also charged an extra fee for urinalysis, something I've never had done before in any doctors office in my life. I walked out feeling like I just wasted my money and my time. If you've got something really simple like a sinus infection, I feel like this would be a good option. But for anything else? No... and now to the ER I go. UPDATE: I noticed the rebuttal the manager of the office posted below, and no, they are not telling the truth. There was a name, first and last name on that cup of urine that was sitting in the bathroom when I went in. And the person who went in after me had to look at my cup that had my first and last name on it as well as the previous cup. I'm not going to let them sit here and gaslight me
