I had previously visited another allergy institute and was told I didn't have any allergies, which left me frustrated and confused--especially since my allergies have been unbearable since moving to Fresno. My son and I felt hopeless until my doctor referred me to Dr. Buddiga. After a thorough evaluation, I discovered that I'm allergic to quite a few things! Thanks to Dr. Buddiga's expertise, I'm now scheduled for weekly injections to manage my symptoms, and I plan to bring my 4-year-old to see him as well. I used to come weekly to get my allergy shots but at some point I stopped. This year, I decided to start back up again because my allergies were getting really bad! The shots themselves are helpful. I definitely notice a change when I forget to go to my allergist vs when I do. The ladies that give the shots are the most friendly people ever and the ladies at the front desk are very pleasant as well! The interior is nice, there's lots of seating, and there's always ambient music playing. I did notice that during my first visit EVER, which was years ago, the doctor straight up told me to leave a 5-star review on Google. I thought it was weird, but I guessed maybe he was just trying to get his name out there. This year when I came back to the allergist, he asked me the exact same question! It felt kinda odd like leaving reviews was more important than my actual health. Also, when you get shots you need to come in every couple of months for a doctors visit. I pay $25 for each appointment which isn't bad, but the doctor seems REALLY rushed and just listens to my heart, asks if I feel fine, and that's it. Also, for anyone wondering, shots are around $100 for a year (I have insurance that covers part of it). You come in once a week to get one and make sure to look at their lunch hours because I always get that mixed up! read more

Most amazing doctor ever absolutely love him but unfortunately have to part ways office manager is difficult and has attitude over policies that aren't enforced and choose to enforce when not in best of moods then proceed to try to out the client in their place by arguing you've been there longer, well had you been there longer then as a good manager your job is to ensure those policies and procedures are being followed with everyone rather than allow it for over 7 years then expect that a person isn't gonna argue when you clearly haven't been doing your job properly. Especially after someone just told you their having difficulty breathing and now you wanna be aggressive just because you think your position is higher and better . Sucks to have to change but that type of attitude is not the best when I'm sure your position requires you to deal with people on a regular basis. read more

I have had a wonderful experience at this office. The ladies up front are incredibly friendly, and his entire staff has been sweet and helpful. This doctor may not have the bedside manner that some may want, but he was not dismissive with me! I went in after 6 weeks of the worst allergies / breathing issues I have ever had. The front office ladies were really patient explaining everything to me , the staff in the back were friendly, the only bad thing about this office is Dr Buddiga himself, he is dismissive and rude, he has a God complex and see his patients are inferior to him. I was innocently asking questions about the shots for my child and his composure changed , I followed up with another question and this time he was irked and said the he does not cut corners. I have had three horrible experiences in this office. I want to start off by saying the front staff and MAs are absolutely incredible. The problem lies with the provider, Praveen Buddiga. Dr. Buddiga is one of the most insensitive and dismissive providers I have ever encountered. I have been to his clinic three times now (two in 2023 and once in 2024). Every time, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and go "one more time," because there are not many allergists in Fresno to begin with and his large number of good reviews made me gaslight myself into thinking I just needed another appointment, but no more. I have been proven correct every single time I have gone to his clinic in that he is the most insensitive, rude, dismissive, and unprofessional medical doctor that I have ever met. Most recently, I went to his office for an allergy skin test, as I am reacting to everything and anything under the sun. After the skin test (which Dr. Buddiga wasn't even aware had happened yet), he came in for one minute and looked at my arm and proceeded to tell me I had wheat and egg allergy. When I asked the severity of the allergy, he said that he would not be able to answer that, which was frustrating, because that is his profession. The entire five minutes that he was in my room, he was very clearly waiting to leave and it seemed as though my questions, as a concerned patient, bothered him. I asked him why I did not react to allergens that I had reacted to in the past and he said that it could be a false negative, and to avoid those foods. I asked about nuts, which I have reacted to in the past but came up negative, and he said to avoid those too, which no other explanation. He nonchalantly mentioned another illness (OAS) to which he did not give any solutions, treatments, or adjustments that I need to make to my lifestyle. He answered none of my questions. He asked if I was allergic to some cross-reactive foods and did not allow me to answer the questions. I had to beg him for a blood test for my IgE levels and he walked out of the room without another word, leaving me more concerned than before. As he was leaving, I asked about a certain autoimmune disorder that I meet the criteria for and am VERY concerned about and he laughed in the doorway and yelled "You don't have that," trailing off as he exited without any testing or examination. So unprofessional. When the sweet MA came back with my Quest slip, I asked her if he would be coming back in to which she said that he wasn't. I asked if he could because I was concerned and wanted to know if the skin test was faulty and she went back to check and returned a few seconds later saying that he wouldn't return and he wouldn't reschedule another skin test, but I could do an environmental skin test. At this point, I realized that he was just in it for the money, and did not care about me or any of his patients at all and I left, defeated as ever. The cherry on top was when I went to Quest and the Phlebotomist saw his name on my slip and mentioned that she had gotten tested the week prior and how dismissive and unhelpful he was to her too. Do not let these reviews fool you. Zero stars if I could. This is the worst practice I have ever been to. read more

I went in for my follow up appointment today and I have to say that I love this office. I have been going there for approximately over 2 years now and the Doctor and his staff have never disappointed me on any of my visits. The front office staff is always pleasant and has a smile on their faces when they greet you at the front desk. And I noticed that the staff is that way with everyone. Last January I was very sick, had that darn bug that everyone was getting (and no it wasn't covid). I had called the office and the doctor spoke with me on the phone and he had called in some meds for me that my husband could pick up at the pharmacy. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Buddiga. My daughter has severe food allergies and had a scary weekend. Today, of course on the holiday, he spoke with me through his exchange (many doctors do not even have an exchange anymore, requiring patients to call 911 and follow up with them on the next business day), then he followed up with me several times by phone directly to make sure that my daughter had a course of treatment and would be OK before his office even reopens tomorrow. He will check her in person tomorrow before school starts. Who does that? In my daughter's case, he gave me all of options and explained everything in great detail. This is for the past six months due to insurance "B.S." which was at no fault to these guys. Came in, and told the doc my allergy history. Seemed like he was taking it all in. Once I was done, he basically crossed all his T's and dotted his i's and lower case j's. He was quick about it too. After a few weeks, got yet another allergy test done and bam! Found out a lot about my allergies. Doctor P. Buddiga and his staff really broke down a lot of my questions with straight, and honest answers that even I understood. (Retired Marine so they broke it down "Barney" style). And I had a LOT of questions too! Seeing this was my second civilian doctor outside the Corps! I will be coming back every two weeks for my shots and hopefully be feeling better. The doctor and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable! Just remember, not just with this office, but with any one in general, if you don't know, ask, you'll never know. This office is always friendly and honest with their answers. The truth does not hurt if it's your health! And this office gives it to ya straight! They even helped me with my insurance B.S. and were very understanding of it! I'll obviously be coming back (every two weeks) and obviously recommend them to ANYONE! Oh, five stars are only for restaurants! So this four star from me is basically a five star. One of the worst asthma clinics I have ever been too. Very rude and unprofessional. Hung up on my face twice when asked about my results! I DO NOT recommend this place. Every time I ask to speak with a nurse, they tell me the same thing that I've been told a week ago. I called a few days prior asking the same thing and was told the same thing, yet have not received a call back from anybody like I was supposed too. We had our first Covid-19 Vaccinations a couple of days ago, at Dr Buddiga/Family Allergy and Asthma Clinic @Chestnut & Herndon Aves. This, our first experience with this medical facility, was great. The employees were friendly and helpful. Dr Buddiga & a nurse administered the injections after explanations of the vaccine and procedures. They answered all of our questions and also advised us to shake/exercise our affected arms and drink plenty of water to avoid the red, swollen, and painful area some people have experienced. Dr. Praveen Buddiga of the Family allgery asthma clinic has been treating my son for 2 years now and we couldnt be more pleased. We were at our wit's ends. Non stop break outs and uncontrollable scratching for an infant is super hard to deal with. At every visit the office staff were and always have been great, friendly and attentive. I believe my son is one of the youngest patients. My son was evaluated and tested. Dr. Buddiga gave us so much information regarding his results. My son is allergic to milk and eggs, we avoid since he is so young all nuts and fish. Milk and eggs are in so many everyday foods no one ever thinks to check the labels. My son been having this skin eczema since he was few months old. Been to dermatologist few times, tried different creams/ointments and a lot of alternatives. Thru our pediatrician's nurse practitioner, he recommended Dr Buddiga. He is very thorough with his assessment, he explained very well to my son who is 14 yrs old now, the benefits of following the regime and cons if he will not. Now, my son's skin is getting smoother, and healing, once in a while there some flare-ups but not getting worst, it's well-controlled and that's the most important for us. Horrible service from the front desk ladies. They were rude and not professional at all. The lady with the burnette hair was walking around gossiping about me to the staff office while I was sitting in the front thinking I couldn't hear it. I honestly think she was very unprofessional to be doing so and for doctor to allow it for her to speak about his patient so openly like that in his office, was not okay! As a patient we seek them for help and service. If a patient came in and they didn't have the spot to see that patient, they should just address it nicely instead of handling it unprofessional. read more

Family Allergy Asthma Clinic is so unusual in the way that it is not like other doctor's offices. The office is large, modern, and clean. The staff is absolutely delightful. Susie is one of my favorite people ever because she's so kind and cheerful that even if you're having a bad day or it's too early, her fun attitude will get rid of that right away. The medical assistants are quick and know what they're doing. I love how I don't have to wait in the waiting room for an hour, just to wait another hour in the actual examination room. Longest I've waited in the waiting room was five minutes tops (and that's probably because I was five minutes early to my appointment - which is a first). Dr. Buddiga does not keep you waiting and he also does not rush you. He sits down with you and discusses whatever concerns you may have, he even makes a few jokes! He makes sure everything is addressed before you leave and even walks you out. My favorite thing about this office is that they don't try to gauge you for money. I've gone to other allergy specialists and all they wanted was your money and once they got that, the service and patient care didn't matter. If you're having issues with allergies, please come see Dr. Buddiga and his staff -- you will not regret it. They are a wonderful group of people who know what they're doing. PS. So far I am very pleased with this place. It's been years since I've seen an allergist and I have been having some issues lately - I'm pretty much allergic to all pollens and grass. They were able to give me an environmental allergy test and recommend products to help my condition, all while following the COVID 19 guidelines. I made an appointment at the Family Allergy Asthma Clinic after several visits to an Urgent Care convinced me I needed to address allergies and asthma. When I called I stated I'd like an appointment as soon as possible and they fit me much earlier than I'd expected. The office is clean, friendly and welcoming.
