At that time, I called and spoke to Leroy, one of the owners, who assured me that they could get the job scheduled for shortly after Thanksgiving. He asked me to call him back the week of 11/27, which I did. Each time I called him, he was too busy and asked me to call him back later that day or the next day. After literally 4 tries, Leroy finally scheduled the job for 12/4 at 10 am. I called him on 12/4 at 9 am just to confirm that his crew would be arriving within an hour or so. At that time, he told me that my home warranty company had cancelled the assignment & his crew wouldn't be coming. I found that hard to believe as I have a lot of experience with my home warranty company and they don't just randomly cancel service assignments. So I pushed Leroy and he admitted that "his other owner" had cancelled it on Friday 12/1 but Leroy couldn't explain why since he didn't do the cancellation. This made me quite irritated and I told Leroy that I would be giving his company a very bad Yelp review. When I called my home warranty company, they told me that Leroy himself had actually cancelled the job with them on Wednesday 11/29. So at this point, it was clear that Leroy had lied to me in a number of ways. In the meantime, "the other owner" (that is how he identified himself) started texting me, apparently out of concern for a bad Yelp review, and told me that he had suffered a death in his family on Friday and that is why he had cancelled the job and forgotten to call me. I responded that I knew he was lying because AHS confirmed that Leroy himself had cancelled it on Wednesday, not Friday. It became obvious that this "other owner" was willing to tell any lie in order to avoid a bad Yelp review. Bottom line -- thanks to Enchantment Refrigeration, I have nothing to show for my 2+ weeks of waiting to get my shower valve replaced except a bunch of lies. I highly recommend avoiding this unprofessional firm at all costs for your plumbing repairs.

The service included maintenance, chimney sweeps, and repairs on both of our gas fireplaces. He carefully cleaned, adjusted the logs, replaced the burning embers, and ensured everything was functioning properly. He even taught me how to use them (lol) and recommended some decorative fireplace screens to keep our littles safe around the open flames and mentioned we should by plug-in carbon monoxide sensors to make sure we stay safe. For the repairs, he took extra steps to fix the gas valve and get the pilot working correctly on both fireplaces, which we really appreciated. ServPro was the only company to prepare a detailed bid that we could use to qualify for insurance repairs. To their credit, the staff at ServPro determined where the mold-causing leak was stemming from and was able to create a plan for the entire repair of the problem. We were fortunate to have Oscar as our lead repair person. He is a talented carpenter, tiler and even a carpet installer. His craftsmanship made the final project turn out great in the end. Unfortunately, the project took much longer than expected (four months) and there were frequent gaps in any work at all.

In all, we paid an additional $15,000-plus to replace the compressor and run new lines--all of which had never been used! Truly poor work, zero service, and non-existent response. I fit in far too well with the stereotype of women that can be taken advantage of. About a month after the service, I called to inquire about a vent I was supposed to have delivered. I was told, "Oh yes, it's been on backorder. It will now be there in the next couple days." Luckily, I saw the Amazon driver deliver the package. This made it so I could find the exact filter on Amazon. It had not been on backorder, it just simply wasn't ordered at all - thanks Amazon 2 day delivery. The much more scandalous thing was not the clear lie, it was the cost. This product cost $43 on Amazon. Duct Busters charged me $190 for it. I assumed this had to be a mistake on their part and reached out through email. After a couple days with no reply I attempted to call. My numerous calls over the next couple weeks were sent to voicemail, which was too full to accept any more.
