I was referred to Dr. John Compoginis for a precancerous mole that needed to be removed. I have had 2 previous cancerous moles/spots removed by the dermatologist office P/A who scarred me terribly so I wanted a plastic surgeon to remove and stitch this one. I really liked Dr. Compoginis, very kind, honest, and accommodating. But best of all, he did a great job at removing the entire problem area and "sewing" me up...you can barely tell where it was! Hello Yelpers, Hope this information is useful to you. I am writing this as a thank you for the service that Premiere Plastic Surgery provided to me. I have never taken the time to write a review or comment on social media but Dr. Compoginis, Dora and Premiere Plastic Surgery went that extra effort to make me feel more comfortable and accommodate my needs, this is the least I could do. I had gone to 2 different surgeons in last 5 years but never felt comfortable enough to actually go through with the procedure (for rhinoplasty). I felt the doctors were sugar coating the procedure and felt a great deal of fear to actually go through with it. I met with Dr. Compoginis and he gave it to me straight which I think surprised him that I would actually go through with it. I admire his honesty and did not feel pressure in getting it done. It might not be the greatest sales tactic but appreciate it because I wanted to get an honest, straightforward answer and zero surprises later. No gimmicks or quick fix results. It's been exactly a week, a little puffy but feeling ecstatic. I will no longer have to hold back a smile or a laugh for fear of my nose drooping, which is something I can never repay the doctor. :D read more

In late March of 2022 I went into this office for fillers, I was referred to this office from a friend who got a breast augmentation, because I originally wanted a breast lift. So because I had a consultation with a doctor whose name I won't name, I figured I'll go to him for under eye fillers. BIG MISTAKE! #1 the fillers weren't injected properly, I had filler in my nose area (& it wasn't because they moved) it was there from the first day, but I was told to just massage it smh but it NEVER went down, my nose looked deformed... and #2 they only looked good for about 1 1/2 month after getting them. When I was told they would last 9 months! I wasn't given the proper nurtured care needed prior or after the injections from the doctor, for someone who never had this procedure done before. Like what to avoid, what to do & what not to do in order to maintain the fillers, INSTRUCTIONS to avoid any sort of problem. He just injected my face and that's it, didn't explain necessary information....so in May I started to experience darkening under my eyes and swelling, it got worst and worst! When I went in for a check up, he tried to tell me that I needed surgery instead because the fillers didn't work on me. Basically tried to make it seem like my face looked like that prior to the fillers, like come on dude! I've had my face ALL my life, I know what it looked like ( side note he didn't take before & after pics because he said it wasn't necessary.) Also a problem...Any-who he passed me to Carlitos because I guess he didn't know how to fix the problem, however Carlitos identified all the problems right away. He began to nurture me back to normal thank God! In the end I still dissolved them, and my face is still transitioning BUT it looks way better! & Carlitos took good care of me, I'm grateful for him! Moral of the story is, NEVER go to a surgent for cosmetics procedures! ALL the distress and trauma that I had to experience could have been avoided, had I went to a cosmetic specialist from the beginning smh. But if you visit this office for cosmetic needs CARLITOS is your guy, avoid anybody else, other than that I suggest you just love yourself the way you are! This situation taught me that I was beautiful just the way I was, and I should have never tried to enhance what honestly didn't need to be fix. But hey you live to learn! read more

This is under the heading of "if I knew then what I know now". As a medical professional I cannot send a strong enough warning about one of the physicians within this group, Dr. Ahmed. I was in the ER and needed a hand surgeon and he happened to be on call. I didn't see him until I was in pre op and had to ask him who is was. I had a pin placed and was told I would have it removed in their surgical center. I signed a paper that said it was my responsibility to verify insurance benefits but since Aetna was who paid him in the hospital I ASSUMED terribly wrong. Over $3000, was my portion of the claim. I tried for the past nearly 2 years to negotiate with them with no call backs. Finally I wrote a letter outlining my complaints. What did I get as a response to that? A phone call from an unhappy Dr Ahmed that I would dare question his treatment. I finally ended the conversation when he told me it was my problem. Then today I receive a 5 day demand letter for full payment! I guess that's what you get for questioning the great and powerful plastic surgery practice. I see lots of reviews with 5 stars, but I wouldn't risk it again. read more

Love them! I've been a patient of Dr. Tiner since 2010(after being in a car wreak) I have undergone 4 surgeries done by Dr. Tiner. I couldn't be any happier with the results! He's been a great doctor through my journey of recovery, his caring personality has made me feel like a friend to him. The staff at Premiere Plastic Surgery has always been very welcoming as well. Several years ago I asked my PCP for 3 plastic surgeon referrals. I visited all three and selected Dr Cox without hesitation. Yes, you may have a long wait sometimes (not always) but when you have your appointments with Dr Cox you feel as though you are his only patient. You are never rushed. Dr Cox is the whole package - experienced, skillful, talented, patient, reassuring, truthful, educational, real, [and humorous too]. It is a pleasure to be in his company. My husband and I have made more visits to his office than I can count over the past 10 years. We both have had "work done" so we have had lots of opportunity to witness the entire staff in action (from the front desk to the surgical suite). Kelly and Lindy greet and treat patients with professionalism and warmth. (For those who have complained here.....come on people - we need to be good patients too - we need to come prepared, ready to fill out paperwork on our first visit, clear about what our expectations are, and sensitive to other patients in the waiting room who might be struggling). Veronica is always on top of things. Through the weeks leading up to and after my surgery she has "been there" every step of the way. It is unreasonable to expect that she be immediately available by phone during business hours when you consider how many people go through that office, so email works best. I came here to see Dr. Ahmed Omar as I had a piece of glass in my thumb. He was honest and said these are very hard to remove in his opinion, and that the glass might come out on its own in a few months. However, he also said that if I come for surgery he would take it out because he has an x-ray in the surgery room. I waited for one - two months and came for surgery. Unfortunately dr. Omar did not remove the glass as he couldn't find it despite having seen it on his x-ray, which is very low resolution. Dr. Omar seems to be a good person and I think he did a good job, but I wish I knew before surgery that chances of success for this seemingly simple operation are not 100%. I had stitches for 3 weeks and suffered for 6 weeks not being able to use my right arm during the time it took to heal. Also, the outer layer of skin on my thumb died and peeled off. I thought my whole thumb would die off. The result of all that suffering is zero, the glass is still there. Since it's my second surgery, I can also say that the anesthesia during my first surgery was way better - I didn't feel sick for 2 days after. Being sick after anesthesia, painful recovery and false expectations are the 3 stars I have to take out of 5... Half a year later - 1 star. The cost of this operation was over $5k! They used some side company with fake customer service emails for anestesia that charged $900! http://www.anesthesiallc.com/ Now they are trying to get me to pay extra $100 for that, even after my insurance told them I don't owe anything. From Kelly and Lindbergh who are so kind and patient to all those who walk through the front door to Debby, Dr. Tiner's assistant who keeps everything moving smoothly and made it possible for me to get the help I needed in a timely manner to Dr. Tiner whose upbeat manner really helps when you are healing for the long haul. The waiting room is comfortable not fancy because they focus on the patients not sculpture snd fountains. The patient rooms are spotless and set up for treatmen which is how it should be. Now I have to admit, the bathrooms are very nice and stylish, but best of all they are truly handicap accessible. read more

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Dr. Cox is. I went to him to fix my breasts after my first (terrible experience) from a different doctor in Orange County. Dr. Cox is so knowledgeable and was so helpful in my consultations. The day of surgery, I was nervous because of my pervious experience but he literally had the best, friendliest and hilarious team working with him. Dr. Poon is awesome. He was the plastic/reconstructive surgeon on-call the night I went to urgent care for a knee laceration which nicked the muscle. He is genial and funny and made an unpleasant situation more bearable. He took the time to explain the potential complications of my injury and the rationale for seeing a specialist. My injury occured very early on a Saturday morning. On Monday morning, he reviewed my charts and x-ray and made the effort to get in touch with me to recommend a MRI and orthopedic surgeon. He called my home and my work repeatedly to ensure I got the information and he scheduled a follow-up visit with him so he could double check that the wound was healing properly. And, he will be doing additional follow up with him after the MRI and orthopedic consult. The office on Fair Oaks is light, airy, and pleasant. The staff were professional and efficient. The receptionist and I joked about my injury, and there was a very helpful gentleman who ensured I could move between the waiting room and examination room comfortably. They brought me a blanket to keep warm when the examination room was chilly. They offered me coffee or water. All in all, they were very sweet. I probably would never consider elective cosmetic surgery. If I did, however, this place would be at the top of my list of potential surgeons, simply because they seem to really care about their patients well being. read more

Jackie is on point with paperwork and wound care, Priscilla is always there to answer questions and last but not least Ricky is polite and willing to help with any problems you might have.. Dr. Compoginis was recommended to me by a friend, and I am SO glad. I initially had a consult for somewhat of a unique case. It was obvious that my health and comfort were his top priorities. He calmed me down and expressed all my options moving forward. After my surgery, I was up and walking the very next day! The pain was minimal and the recovery time was incredible! I was so happy with my results that I decided I also wanted him to do my lips! I got juvederm filler and there was NO bruising. It was my first time and I had prepared for the worst but once again, Dr. Compoginis totally nailed it! He and Dora are so good at what they do, it would be a mistake not to go to him! read more

If I could give negative a thousand stars to Dr. Omar Ahmed, I would for violating my basic human rights of sovereignty over my own body. And ruining my life in the process. He performed a butchering surgery on me after I specifically told him not to do that, I wanted my fingertip reattached with a few simple stitches. It was not crushed and the pathology report shows it was viable and 2 1/2 times as long as the measurements reported by the ER doctor which I told Dr. Ahmed was incorrect and I showed it to him before surgery. As soon as he had me under anesthesia, he went ahead and did whatever the hell he wanted even though I was very clear that I didn't want him to do what he did. Because he could bill my insurance more for reconstruction than reattachment. I woke up in pain and it has never gone away or subsided for a moment of my life since. I lost the use of perfectly healthy tissue that he cut nerves all the way to the knuckle for no damn good reason other than for his profit. Stay far away from him. read more

Urgent Care sent me here because I needed to be seen by plastic surgeon right away to treat an infected cyst on my FACE. It was scary, so I was thankful Dr. Cox took me in on such short notice! That's why the 2 stars. But that's about it. This place is highly unprofessional. I should have gone with my gut when the surgical coordinator wrote out my prescription for antibiotics in front of the doctor she assisted. As far as I know, she is not medically licensed to do so. But like I said, I needed the antibiotics because half of my face was swollen, and I was scared. However, I continued treatment despite that, and the despite the fact that the doctor asked to see me, kept me waiting over 30 minutes just to look at my face and determine that it was still swollen, a three year old could have done that. I waited for literally 3 minutes of consult. The worst came on my next follow up appointment when I showed and the doctor was not even there. He had the flu, or at leas that was what his assistant told me. So, she apologized and rescheduled me. I came once again and the doctor was yet again not in the office. He was still out sick. No one from the office called to let me know. The assistant tried to play doctor (yet again) and schedule me for surgery! Hahaha... without the doctor there! So, what expertise do these people rely on?! It was crazy. I asked her if the doctor would approve and she said, "I think so." What?! So, she was going to schedule me for a surgery the licensed doctor could potential deem me not ready for and then what?! Come back another time?! They do not have ANY care for your time. I don't know if it's fair to say that the entire office functions this way, but the two supposed professionals I dealt with were ridiculous. Good luck if you go here. read more

I highly recommend Premiere Surgical Specialists. Dr. Mariano, Beau, Kelly - all are amazing! They honestly care about you and your wellbeing. I am pregnant with twins and about 3 months ago faced a very difficult situation when we found out in the ER room that my appendix had ruptured. I was so scared to go into emergency surgery at 8 weeks pregnant. At the hospital my husband and I were told that Dr. Mariano was a highly specialized surgeon with years of experience. They were right! Not only did he remove my appendix, but then I had problems with my gallbladder and after about a month of having my appendix taken out, Dr. Mariano then took out my gallbladder as well. My husband and I trust him so much. He is an excellent surgeon and very compassionate. He sits to listen to any concerns or questions you may have. The team's goal is to make sure you are well taken care of. Now I'm 4 months pregnant and doing fantastic - I feel great!! read more

I met Doctor Compoginis at the Arcadia Methodist hospital I went for emergency he said he would do surgery on my finger which was big open wound . He never did do surgery he keep saying next week him and his nurse Lian did all my workers comp. paper wrong keep blaming the worker comp . But later I found out they didn't know how to use worker comp. it took them a month to send out the proper forms they never returned calls and voicemail they ask for your name to try to avoid you be careful if you go with this doctor ! At the end of 2 months my finger is terrible and he said it healed just fine yes it healed it's very scared he told me at the emergency he would do a skin graft the next week and he keep say that for a month he is very full of shit. They got me so mad at the end his nurse had to call the cops because I was so tried of their shit he doesn't know what he is doing get some one more experienced he schedule a bunch of appointment and he does notting on the appointment I now need to go to a real doctor. read more

This review is specifically for the unprofessional Dr.Ahmed. We took our child to the ED after sustaining an injury to the head. The ED doctor did not feel comfortable suturing due to the esthetic nature of the wound. Our terrible luck, Dr Ahmed was on service. He had poor bedside manner. He is arrogant and aloof. We were parents of a young toddler who had sustained an injury to the face but he was more concerned with his own time. I expressed concern about the anesthesia and he laughed at my concerns stating that he wasn't going to wait around all day for me to make a decision. He sutured the wound and told me to make an appt at his office the following Wednesday for a follow-up. His office didn't accommodate us and said don't even come in, just put Mederma. Lastly, they have been billing us since then for an "elective" procedure and my insurance company is laughing at their incompetence. My husband and I are both healthcare providers and have numerous friends within the field. He isn't talented enough to be able to behave like such an imprudent individual. His reputation precedes his skill level. read more

The office staff were so unfriendly and short with me- they took a week to call me week and refused to talk about even ballpark prices by phone. I was not price-shopping, I just wanted to know.
