They refused to see me unless a radiologist was on-site and scheduled an appointment a month out. When I called into their appointment center they moved my appointment to a sooner one at Breastlink Tarzana. Upon arrival and check in I was told my referral was not correct and to wait while they contacted my doctor. At no point in the process of scheduling any of these appointments did anyone mention needing a different referral than what I initially provided. Around 30 minutes later the receptionist let me know I was good to go. I was called back shortly after. I was put into a changing room and not provided a gown or instructions. I was able to go through drawers and find the gown to change into. After a long wait I was taken in for the mammogram and first part of my exam. The tech informed me she did not feel I needed a diagnostic mammogram. After explaining my situation up to this point she re-read my notes and said no, I did in fact need this test. However she was only going to take a couple images and not the full set. I then went to wait for an extended time as we were informed the radiologist was working remote and not responding with the needed targets. Eventually I was taken back for an ultrasound exam. The tech told me someone would call me with results in 1-2 hours. Later that afternoon I received a call from my physician stating she was not in contract with breastlink and would not be able to provide a referral. Had the receptionist communicated this I would not have proceeded with the exam. As an aside it is now 4 days from my exam and I have not received results. When I called to follow up I was told they were in the middle of hiring radiologist and my results would take up to 2 weeks to receive. I was surprised to hear this as the other facility insisted I needed my exam with a radiologist present. So now my urgent exam is on a multi week timeline with no explanation? I also asked about the fact that receptionist lied about having a referral. She told me not to worry as the max out of pocket is $448. That was not reassuring as this is a covered exam from my very expensive health insurance. Her demeanor was dismissive on both my concern on her staff inconsistent and incorrect statements. This whole experience was an absolute nightmare and I recommend finding another facility for your imaging needs.

Absolutely unacceptable service at Liberty Pacific Advanced Imaging in Tarzana!…read more My appointment was scheduled for 8:45 PM, and I arrived 20 minutes early out of respect for their schedule. At first, I was told I would be taken in at 9:00 PM. When I returned to the front desk at 9:00, they told me to wait another 15 minutes. At 9:15, I approached the desk again, and they contacted a technician named Lili, who informed them it would be another 25-30 minutes! Are you kidding me? What's the point of scheduling appointments if you can't honor them? This place is extremely disorganized, with absolutely no respect for patients' time. They keep people waiting late into the night without providing accurate updates or taking any responsibility for the delays. If you cannot manage your appointment schedule, STOP booking patients so late at night! People have families, jobs, and responsibilities. We shouldn't have to spend our entire evening sitting around because your facility cannot manage its schedule. By far one of the worst experiences I've had at an MRI center. Especially if you're considering an evening appointment, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Terrible scheduling, terrible communication, and absolutely unacceptable customer service. ONE STAR!

I was welcomed upon entering and helped right away. The staff were friendly and helpful. As always, you have to arrive 20 minutes before the appointment time, so there is a bit of waiting. I often forget that because much of the equipment used for testing run warm, the air conditioning will be blasting. If you are the type to run cold, bring a sweater. The person that took care of my test was Jason and he was great. He explained everything in depth and was caring and kind. My test was very quick and I was happy with the service. My only gripe about the service is that as of a couple of weeks ago, early 2026, there is now a 3% service fee added to the charge of services if you choose to pay with a credit card. This is new and when you have services performed that are several hundreds of dollars, you may or may not want to carry cash. And, if you do pay with cash, it has to be exact. Change is not provided. There is limited free parking on the street and a paid parking structure. Validation is not provided.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at this facility was completely…read moreunacceptable--both on the day of my appointment and afterward. I arrived for a CT scan ordered by my oncologist after fasting as instructed. The afternoon before my appointment, at 4:56 p.m., RadNet called to change my arrival time because the contrast would not be administered until later. I accommodated the last-minute change and arrived when I was told to arrive. When I got there, instead of being checked in by one of the three employees sitting behind the front desk, I was directed to scan QR codes and check myself in electronically. I explained that I had already completed RadNet's online check-in, but was told this was "different." I attempted to comply. When I had difficulty with the system, I specifically asked the front-desk employee for help. She completely ignored me. What made this particularly offensive was that a gentleman who arrived after me had essentially the same issue--and she offered to help him and then helped him - all while I was standing there. When I asked her directly if she could please help me, she would not acknowledge me. She completely ignored me. I eventually sat down and tried to complete the process myself. Despite being an existing RadNet patient who had undergone an MRI with RadNet only 13 days earlier, I was required to enter extensive information again and upload the front and back of both insurance cards. After I completed everything and uploaded all four images, the system dumped me back at the beginning and appeared to expect me to start over. Their technology was not working. At that point, I went upstairs to a Cedars-Sinai office to ask for assistance because Cedars-Sinai had been involved in arranging the appointment. Incredibly, the person there could not even find an appointment scheduled for me that day. I ultimately left without receiving the CT scan my oncologist had ordered. What bothered me most was not the technology. Technology fails. What matters is what happens when it does. I was standing in a medical facility, fasting for a diagnostic test, asking an employee for assistance, and I was completely ignored. Patients entering an advanced imaging center may be frightened, in pain, elderly, dealing with cancer, awaiting a diagnosis, or simply uncomfortable with technology. A healthcare facility should understand that better than almost any other business. A QR code should never become a barrier between a patient and medically ordered care, particularly when staff members are sitting a few feet away and are unwilling to help. The employees' attitudes were reprehensible. I subsequently sent multiple letters to the president and CEO, the President of Western Operations, and the site manager a 5-page detailed formal complaint explaining exactly what happened and specifically requested that management review the incident and respond back to me after doing so. Management never responded. Instead, I received several voicemail messages from a woman at the facility who left messages with an extreme attitude in her voice, but I never received the substantive response from management that I specifically requested. After an experience serious enough that a patient left without receiving an oncologist-ordered CT scan, I would have expected management to take the complaint seriously enough to address it directly. Clearly they are too consumed with the money-making aspect of the business to care about the patient side of the business. I have since taken my imaging elsewhere. The entire experience--from the last-minute scheduling issue, to the malfunctioning check-in process, to the dismissive front-desk treatment, to the complete lack of meaningful management follow-up--was an extraordinary failure of patient service. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was asking for competence, courtesy, communication, and assistance when I needed it. I received none of them. It has been over a month since I wrote my letters of concern to the management, and I still have not hear back from management. I do, however, keep receiving their spam texts and now emails telling me that my doctor ordered a scan for me. Clearly they don't know how to use best practices with their technology, and clearly they don't care how their patients are treated. Take your business elsewhere. It is clearly just about making the money for them and zero about the patient experience and patient satisfaction. Avoid this place at all cost.

Nice but also I understand it's not always easy in that environment to be on top of new people coming in. I checked in, filled out my paperwork and expected to be sitting for a while since my appointment wasn't until 11:30am and I arrived close to 10:45am. To my surprise I was taken back early. John was the star of my day. He greeted me more prepared than I've ever had a scan tech be. He ran down everything that would happen but none of it was condescending and he respected my experience while still checking if I had questions or needed anything. Anything John said he would do he did right on time. No one forgot about anything they said they'd do, whether it was getting parking validation, being reminded to take medication or asking for water. I was offered more comforts without asking. I didn't get his name but the guy working with John helped care for the little things and made sure I had a pillow also propped under my arms so they wouldn't fall asleep while my scans were being done. No other imaging place ever offered that, and yes my arms would fall asleep. We chatted about clothing options for scans and he's the first person to have given suggestions and they were good. Back to John, he talked me through my scans and what to expect, which I always appreciate. He told me how long until I could move my head while the rest of my body got scanned. Scans make me nervous so I try to request time checks but places don't always do them when they say they will. I didn't ask John for time info, he just did them and came over to tell me and check I was ok and understood instead of just using an intercom. Nothing felt forced and I had never admitted to them I have a hard time staying still for so long in the machine. They just got it. Scans used to take me about 45min but they also have a new machine that did them (PET/CT) in under 20. The results here also take maybe a day or two to be sent to my oncologist vs a week or two from other places I've been. I drive from the Hollywood area to Northridge based on my Oncologist's suggestion and as much as I hate the drive and the cost of gas this is absolutely worth it. Big thank you to the whole Renaissance Imaging Center of Northridge for being so wonderful. What a difference it makes. Bonus points that when I called Marisela to make an appointment she actually called me back when I left a message. It sounds so basic but going through the Medical system so much getting calls back is not as common as it used to be so I was impressed.

After previously having a very negative experience there with an ultrasound technologist, Anete, I was honestly nervous about returning. During my ultrasound experience, I did not feel that Anete was trauma-informed. When you're already dealing with medical concerns and feeling vulnerable, the way you're treated matters tremendously. Then I met Fariba and Fariba was THE BEST! This was my first mammogram, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to walk me through it. Fariba was warm, polite, patient, compassionate, and incredibly respectful. She explained things, made me feel comfortable, and turned something I was nervous about into a genuinely positive experience. The contrast between my two experiences at the same facility was HUGE. Fariba demonstrated exactly what trauma-informed, compassionate patient care can look like. She made me feel like a person rather than just another appointment.
