I wish I didn't have to write a one star review about a place, but it happens when they block your number after you trying to speak the truth. I bought my little blessing 7 years ago from this horrific place. Let's emphasize blessing. My dog is only alive through final proper care, compassion and me buying her. It is a truly sad place. I thought I did my research on little dog specialization breeders. Was I shocked. I drove to what looked like an adorable little farm. The second I went inside it was a creepy experience. I read situations and people well. All feelings were off the whole time. The breeder was scary and very argumentative the entire time. Not compassionate, welcoming or warming by any means. I knew I had to save the puppy I picked out. I looked them up, found a little puppy I fell in love with. When they brought her to me, in the lobby, she was grabbed from under a red heating lamp what I've only seen in reptile cages with mulch stuck in her. I had no idea where her mom was. At this age and size, she should have been with her mom still majorly at points for developmental growth and milk. I asked to see her parents. They aggressively declined not allowing me to see them. They told me what the parents weighed. My dog is nothing, looks like nothing and is nothing of what they said. She doesn't look or act like breed I thought I was buying. My dog has grown into the kindest, most beautiful trained dog. But if you want the truth, do not go here. I just bought her and ran as far as I could from this place. My heart was too big to not continue saving her, as I didn't want to let her go from my arms. My parents used to breed cocker spaniels. They know right from wrong. They didn't think she was going to make it when I brought her home because of her dehydration and malnourishment. We worked long and hard to get our little girl happy and healthy. I had to take her to multiple vets. They all know and warned me of this place. They have said all Columbus locals buying from there have the same experience. They called everyday for a few days after, after I began talking about my experience, her condition and the truth they told me to never reach out to the, hung up on me and I never did hear from them again. I truly wish them the best and hope those dogs get amazing homes. I knew my little girl wasn't getting the write treatment when I was sent home with a GALLON of ziploc medications. I was supposed to be giving my dog multiple rounds of oral vitamins, medications, etc., that should've been taken care of if she was getting the proper feeding schedule from her mom. We had never seen such a thing. After talking to more Columbus locals more and more of my experience, other people had the same experience. After going to my first vet, they told me to drop the bag snd stop giving my brand new puppy those odd meds and only give her what they ordered. They've heard of them doing this. It broke me. But I listened. She is now a strong little girl. They told me she would be 30 lbs. she is 10. But she is my best little friend. She is one strong little girl. They told me she would be black and tan. She is black, gray and white fur. Nothing was correct. I had to take her to the vet so early on from bringing her home before her 2 week vaccine check up because she developed a DEEP whooping cough I've never heard a dog have. When I took her into the vet, I started hearing what I needed to hear. It's a sad story, but I made it into a strong one. I can't believe they made money off of what could've been sad. What a sad experience we had w this puppy broker. It's important to understand they are not breeders - just brokers. They broker thousand and thousands of dogs (as evidenced by their website) - they have no real relationship with the breeders nor do they visit the breeders nor do they keep the dogs with them when they are whelping like a breeder would do. They buy entire litters - and sell them and any puppies with defects are not sent back to the breeder but instead passed on to a rescue/kennel out of state and there is zero follow up. Pictures of parents are not posted - and when we asked (after genetic testing)....after much delay - we got pictures we do not believe were the parents. I sincerely hope they aren't a puppy mill and have no way to guarantee they aren't, but what I can tell you is that my vet did not believe that either of my dogs came from a puppy mill. Both had an ear infection, but that's common with big floppy eared dogs and Premier Pups paid for the treatment. They had no illnesses or other indications that they were puppy mill puppies. My dogs are now both over a year old with great temperaments! One does suffer from a little separation anxiety, but he's loving and friendly with everyone who meets him. My smaller dog is a little shy with new people, but otherwise as sweet as can be. Everyone who meets them and is looking for a dog wants to know where I got them. I also did my own genetic testing and my dogs are both extremely healthy. My Maltipoo has no genetic conditions and my Cavapoo inherited just one gene for a spine problem that is so rampant in small spaniels that it's nearly impossible to avoid. Im updating this review as the owner responds to every negative review blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility for their unscrupulous business practices. Dan who did not speak to me claims I appeared satisfied when they called me to tell me they sent me a picture of the wrong puppy. If saying "ok" and hanging up and not making an offer on the puppy is their interpretation of satisfied then they should take some customer service classes. Secondly, sending the wrong picture of a parent is not a small mistake. If i actually trusted them, I would have spend over 4k on a puppy thinking the whole time the mother was someone different. Those who know about the poodle fading gene know why you would want to see pictures of the parents. Its no suprise the fake picture they sent me was of a beautiful Red Cavapoo with no fading. They also claim that they have the highest quality puppies and breeder standards. Then answer this...why is asking for pictures of the puppies parents a "Special Request" where you have to wait ~3-5 days for pictures because they dont have them on file and need to reach out to the Breeders. If they cared so much about the quality of the puppies, wouldnt they have a process in place to obtain the pictures and vet the parentage before posting on their website? No, because they rely on people not doing their due diligence. Lastly, they never offered me the option of a flight when I said I dont want to meet up with a random driver "somewhere" in NJ. I live 15 min from a major International Airport. Instead, the person I spoke to said I could pick the puppy up in Ohio instead. Also, if your travel coordinator is not available on Sunday, then dont call about offers on Sundays. They called me, I didnt call them. Updated pictures of our son from Premier Pups. He is a healthy puppy. Once in a while he will go into the vet for allergies but other than that, he is overall a healthy puppy. Only issue is his eating habits. He is so picky with his food. The only foods he will eat is Dr. Marty's Freeze Dried Raw Diet For Small Breeds & FreshPet's Meals For Small Breeds(Chicken&Veg). His snacks are Dently's Dried Chicken Sticks & Chicken Wraps. He likes Dently's Bacon Wraps, Small Bones, and Chicken Heart Treats. All of them are made in America & made from the best ingredients. He gets a junk food once in a while, which is the treats that look like or shaped of bacon. He likes the original flavor + cheese flavor. Occasionally, he likes chicken breast, steak, and salmon. He drinks Alkaline 8+ water from Sprouts. We want to keep our son(Gigil or GG) for a long time. I included his diet in hopes it can help anyone else with a puppy with a picky diet. I've been looking for a doodle breed since December 2019, but alot of the breeders I contacted were completely full due to the high demands during COVID. Also, I didn't want to wait until 2021 for a puppy either. Fortunately, I came across premier pups and thought it had to be a scam because there were so many designer breeds easily available; but after researching their business on BBB, yelp, youtube, and reviewing other previous customer reviews on their website - I was pretty reassured. Donato and his team were extremely responsive via email, calls, and texts during all hours of the day. We were able to facetime with our puppy before purchasing him as well. Although the puppies aren't cheap, I understand that we're paying a 'premium' to get these puppies much faster and the quality/service/puppy care given to our puppy has been phenomenal. We purchased our 8 week-old sheepadoodle on a Thursday afternoon and he arrived via plane on Monday afternoon. The premier pups team was extremely diligent in terms of communication and efficiency. We scheduled a vet visit within 4 days and so far, our puppy is very healthy! I know there are some subpar reviews, but I would personally refer my friends and family here! I have been on the market for a maltipoo for a few months now. I came across 3 pups that I was interested in and reached out to the company if I am able to see a video or a FaceTime before I make the decision. I was told that I'd have to pay 25 dollars for a video (to get their videographer to take one) or 10 dollars for facetime. His explanation is that there has been so many college students asking for videos and not purchasing the puppies. Wouldn't a video or a way to see the puppy live a basic thing you give your potential customers especially with the amount of money for each puppy? Purchasing a dog is a big decision and I am from California who has no way of seeing the puppy in person. I was very disappointed. It's not hard to have the breeder or the company take a video of their puppies to be put online. They can even use their iPhone. Charging potential customers more money to help them decide or to ease their concerns by seeing a video of the puppy they want is unbelievable to me. We received Rocky about 10 months ago. The delivery to Reno, NV. was flawless and he arrived as a healthy- if startled- pup. Premier Pups were very proactive in contacting us before and after we received him. Checking on his health, his progress, and providing several helpful suggestions. There are a couple things to think about when looking at Premier Pups before you get excited about their puppies. They provide NO genetic testing, verification, registration, photos, or temperament for the parents. This is important and can be provided not biased by a vet (as they claim to "biannually check these animals"). They provide no insights to the behavioral characteristics of the pups (alpha, independent, shy). And they provide you with two cheesy posed pictures of the puppy available, no video to show the puppy interacting with others. No photos of the litter. When I asked questions through their text portal, they dodged. Then tried to say they weren't a puppy mill because they had great reviews. For me, to pay $3000, you need to make a little more effort to show more about the dogs. Some simple math, for a litter of 6 that's $18,000. I think you can make a little more effort. I'm not sure why people are settling for this but if I want little information about the lineage of the dog, I'll go to a rescue. And if I want to know the temperament, they give you more truth through a rescue. So at this point, a rescue if doing a better job. read more

Literally, we get stopped by everyone who sees us out together because they want to find out where she came from and she's the most adorably tempered little pup. Premiere pups was on it when it came to shipping her out here- which I was very nervous about- and the emails on getting her home and adjusted were great. I love my puppy and she's obviously healthy and hearty and I have full confidence the breeders she came from are great! I would love to know more about them, but it doesn't look like that info is available on premiere pup. Giving four stars instead of five cause there are a few things that feel pretty sales-heavy and maybe a little disingenuous regarding Doctor Pup and the Puppee-poo Palace. First of all, the doctor pup website/service is completely pointless but you have to be subscribed for ten years for your dog to have a valid health warranty! Sure, the monthly fee isn't too bad, but you just spend over 3k to get a dog and the added monthly fee seems like something for nothing. I've got a great vet and have been going regularly and trust them implicitly so I feel like my dog is in good care and shouldn't have to be tied to a Doctor Pup subscription to have a health warranty. Pretty bogus. Second- the puppee poo palace. I was talked into it by a sales person who told me it would make my pups transition home more smooth since it was what she had been using at her breeders and before being sent here so I bought it. They also told me I would spend more buying these things on my own- turns out that's not true either. It took over a week to get here after I got my lil puppy so she is much more used to and inclined to the other sleep set up I made for her and it seems as though she's never seen or been in the poo palace before. The drinking bottle for the crate leaks and drips and drips and premiere pups was on it to send me a new one ASAP along with an extra blanket but this one just leaks and drips and drips and ruins the pee pad in the process. There's a warranty for this one, too, if your puppy isn't poo-palace trained in a month (mine is not) but I can't imagine who would follow the warranty since it's also pretty bogus. You have to pay for shipping and restocking and stuff and it's huge and who has the time to do all of that when you work and have a life and a new puppy. Totally bogus. In short- get the puppy from premiere pups but feel free to forego the other sales driven add-ons as they really, really aren't worth it. Sorry, Premiere Pups but the Doctor Pup and Puppee-poo palace aren't up to your standards! read more

We are in absolute love with our new mini sheepadoodle Kirby (previously Ralph). Premier pups was really great throughout the process, answering many of our nervous questions both before and after pups arrival. The first time we called Matthew spoke to us for 30 minutes about our various questions about the process, even before we were ready to commit to anything or even had decided on a breed yet, which really helped reassure us given we were unable to go to Ohio ourselves. We facetimed our dog and bought him just after falling in love in facetime! They shipped him to us via plane cargo, we were super nervous about this but they answered all our questions and he arrived safe and sound. He was definitely a bit overwhelmed the first night, but became more adjusted every day. They also offer shipping by car but the timing wasn't quite right for us. Premier pups has been available 24/7 (quite literally, including when these first time pup parents panic called them at 3am because we thought we have him too much pepto bismol..... amongst many other late and middle of night calls to them). They continue to check in with us while he gets adjusted to his new home, and are really patient and kind when we call. It was so helpful to have that layer of support-especially during the bridge before our first vet visit at home. This morning he had his first comprehensive evaluation at the vet including parvo testing and got a clean bill of health! Woohoo! (I know the a vet evaluates them before they are available for adoption at premier pups, but so reassuring that he is still healthy after his big journey and adjustment!!) I also want to add our initial plan was to rescue. I applied for dozens of dogs through different sources. Fortunately for dogs but unfortunately for us, rescues currently have the luxury of being really picky about who they let rescue since demand is so high for dogs during COVID. We live in a city apartment, and this is our first dog; so we were continuously getting denied. Despite our commitment to providing a dog a great life, they had the ability to go with others who had more experience or closed in yards, which may have been reasonable given the nature of rescue dogs. Because of that we looked through many breeders and venues. Availability was limited, it seems these guys maybe upcharge a bit which is why they actually have availability? Supply and demand i suppose, but we were willing to go for it as we had been planning for a long time to try to start our family with a dog around this time in our lives. They had sheepadoodle litter at the time, which they seem to all be accounted for now, and I see no more sheepadoodles so glad we went for it while they had them! (Also kind of reassuring that there is not ALWAYS a supply of every kind of dog) I wanted to be sure to write a thoughtful and thorough review as searching the reviews was a big part of me feeling comfortable with proceeding with premier pups, so wanted to add our experience. Like others said, it is nerve wracking getting a dog sight unseen. However they were so supportive, and I could not find any bad reviews which was really easy to find from other options to get a dog. We bought our puppy, Henry (previously Tad), from premier pups about 7 months ago. He was flown all the way to Oregon. The team at PP was great to work with through the whole process. Our boy got kennel cough from his travels but otherwise has been healthy as can be. Our only minor complaint is kind of out of their control. Henry was projected to be in the 6-12 lbs range but is already 16 pounds. He's larger than we'd hoped but it's not the end of the world. read more
